I would not use this business again!
Ordered a decal online from this company with no communication whatsoever other than turning up on my doorstep....
YES! GRANTED! It did turn up, but! It was a larger decal that was placed on a piece of cardboard and then folded in half into a large parcel envelope which stretched the decal to the point where it was absolutely not able to adhered to a flat surface without major difficulty and i ended up just ripping it off...
I have purchased many decals that have arrived in postal tubes to prevent this from occurring..
Anyway moving on and it didn't break the bank, But lesson learnt...

The only thing worse than their product is their customer service.

I ordered a decal for a time sensitive event. When the decal arrived, the printing was splotchy. Upon inspection, their customer service agent admitted the product was defective but they would not issue a refund, despite there being no way for them to get a replacement to me in time. The only thing worse than their product is their customer service. Do not use them.

WARNING TO RESALE BUSINESSES: This company charges sales tax regardless of your approval as a tax exempt company. They hijack your job until they hear from you asking them to approve your tax exempt certificate on each order. And speaking of losing time, their turnaround is far too long, and they ask you to approve each job even if you waive the approval process. I asked for product information which turned out to be wrong and they questioned my artwork (buying more time, perhaps). Run, don't walk.

Scam Company

I ordered die-cut magnets for my company vehicle, but they arrived not die-cut and not the correct size—neither issue was apparent in the proof they sent. When I contacted customer service, they admitted they can’t die-cut magnets, despite it being listed as an option on their website and charging extra for it. Instead of issuing a refund, they only offered a store credit. Completely unacceptable since they can't produce what I need. Terrible product quality and even worse customer service. Avoid this company at all costs.

Worst company

Customer Service Is Over The Top!

I was sort of surprised to see decals.com with so a low rating, my experience was fabulous!

My order was small and cheap, just a couple qr codes printed that were 6×7in. Because I didn't realize my image was squared, and I needed it formatted a bit to fit, I heard from Andrea for approval.
She wanted to make sure it looked out, and scanned ok.

Ironically the full size decal I ordered for 100 bucks from another company didn't notice the random bright line that didn't belong.
Hence ordering decals from this company. I literally changed the dimensions to cover their lack of concern in the proof dept.

Andrea at decals took every step anyone could expect to make sure these small stickers were printed correctly.
Not only do they scan great, they even included an extra 4. I don't know why... but it was certainly a nice touch!
Screw printmoz, I'm sticking with decals.com.

Terrible Experience – Misleading Communication and No Refund

I ordered a custom decal from Decals.com at 17” height × 24” width, exactly as their website specifies (Height × Width). After ordering, an employee emailed me about “17 × 24” but never clarified which was height or width. I confirmed based on their own website’s format. Instead, they unilaterally flipped the order to 24” height × 17” width without my approval.

When I pointed out their mistake and requested a refund, they refused. Their excuse was that once an order is approved, it cannot be changed — even though the approval was based on their employee’s vague communication and directly conflicts with the website’s stated format. They also tried to justify it later by saying my artwork “wouldn’t meet USDOT regulations,” which has nothing to do with what I ordered.

In short:
• Poor communication (they did not follow their own Height × Width standard).
• Unprofessional customer service (blamed me for their mistake).
• No accountability (refused refund, only offered a 50% reprint “deal”).

This company hides behind a “no refund” policy even when the error is on their end. If you’re considering ordering from them, be warned: once you approve anything, they can interpret your order however they like and you’ll be stuck paying for something you didn’t ask for.

Great vinyl decals for our boat

We ordered vinyl decals for our boat. They were very helpful during the ordering process, making suggestions when I wasn't sure which type to order, making sure the proofs were correct. Order came on time and they looked amazing. We didn't do the best job putting them on, but that was our own inexperience and they provide helpful videos for installation. They actually look great on the boat!! And they sent us a thank you card for our order, although our order was only about $100. I thought that was pretty classy. I wanted to order locally, but it would have been twice as much. I highly recommend Decals.com.

Caused $35k of damage + won't refund

We ordered a large amount of "temporary" decals to decorate the floor for a preschool fundraising event held at a place of worship. Decals.com claims that the type we purchased "remove easily without damage or residue." We followed their removal instructions exactly and it was an extremely laborious task (taking a team multiple days to do the exhausting work) and removed chunks of the floor's finish. The damage was so severe that the entire floor has to be refinished (stripped, sanded, and resealed). We had multiple professional flooring companies assess and quote the work, with costs ranging from $35k-$50k! Decals.com has refused to refund the cost of their destructive decals, let alone help with the costs of repair. They have dodged our calls and emails and don't respond to follow-ups. Again, their decals were used as decoration for a PRESCHOOL FUNDRAISER and severely damaged the floors at a CHURCH, and this is how Decals.com has chosen to operate. Absolutely disgraceful. Do not do business with them.

This was my first experience ordering…

This was my first experience ordering from Decals.com. We needed a handful of custom magnets printed. I found the ordering placement simple enough, and I got a quick response email confirming my order and letting me know they were happy with the design I had provided and options I had selected. Although I could have had a hard copy test proof sent beforehand, I chose not to in this circumstance.

The order was fulfilled and delivered quickly (to Florida). The magnets are of a good quality and print to the level I was expecting. I also received a hand written note from Seth thanking me for my order.

Overall, a very good personal experience, and no complaints.

What a surprise.

I placed an order with my slapped together image(s), requested the proofs, and I got my phone call.

Holly informed me that what I had submitted would look weird, but she got the idea and had suggestions on how to get where I wanted to be. I gave her the freedom to edit as she pleased, we agreed on a size, and all looked well in the proof.

I've dealt with countless decal companies over the last 15 years, and I've even worked in vinyl signs/decal shop for a while so I know what is typical and what I can expect.

I'll be honest, with a name like Decals.com I figured.... great, how long before I get annoyed with the 'big company' nonsense. Y'know, no callbacks, no communication, etc. because they've got a thousand other dudes spending 10x your invoice, that sorta thing.

I didn't get any of that from y'all. Holly was courteous, bubbly, professional, and easy to work with. Without someone reviewing my submission and placing that phone call, I probably would've been left with a dissatisfactory result at my own fault.

So yeah, decent service, but that's not really what brought me here today. I'm used to being on the receiving end of substandard business practices, so when companies remind me of what business should look like it stands out to me. I'm here because I received a hand written card from Holly at Decals.com. Yes, hand written; there's definitely an impression and definitely ballpoint ink lol. I have never received a hand written anything from a company for simply making a purchase, whether it was $70 or $7000, NEVER! If you did receive something that looked hand written it's guaranteed printed. Like thanks for wasting the paper and confirming the worst...? lol

I was a bit concerned when I saw it. "My decals ain't fittin' in there...." but wow, what a pleasant surprise. Thank you! Thank you for reminding me that big businesses don't have to suck, and there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I'll be back.

Their customer service is terrible

Their customer service is terrible. Matt Gregerson, CSM for decals.com is about as inept as they get. Wanna know why their decals are so cheap? They charge $14 for a decal and $70 for shipping. The website says three day UPS delivery, they send it via USPS ground. There’s nothing in the ordering process that gives you shipping options. Deceptive business practices. I went round for round with Matt and blamed their high shipping costs on the algorithms, lol. I went to the usps site, took a screenshot of the actual shipping costs to my zip code, and there was a $50 discrepancy. He refused to give me a refund on the shipping. Never again. Go somewhere else.

Extremely Poor Customer Service

Does anybody in your company take the trouble to respond to an earlier e-mail I enquired about my Order no:53505?
If I do not get a response, I am reporting my very overdue order to my credit card company.

Your company said it would inform me when the product is being sent. Order was placed on 20th Oct 24 and till now NO RESPONSE!!!!

I ordered from their website

I ordered from their website, filled out their forms and uploaded my image with out any errors. I get an email today saying they need a vector image and that they would be kind enough to do it for 25 dollars. None of this was disclosed when I ordered. Would not recommend!

They don't own up to their mistakes

I placed an order last year for some reflective stickers. I noticed that the artwork wasn't correct and asked for a revision, which Decals.com did comply with and corrected the issue. This year however, I purchased another order of the same stickers from my orders list. When I received the stickers, the old aspect ratio problem was evident and they were not the same as what I had previously received.

Contacting the Company by phone, the person I spoke to advised me to fill out their electronic form regarding my issue, which I did. I received e-mail back from Decals.com stating that they had not entered the change for the previous year's order into their system. Responding to that e-mail, I made note that they had admitted they'd made a mistake, and they then offered me a discount on the purchase of another batch of stickers.

So, instead of correcting the issue, remaking, and resending the correct product, We were supposed to spend additional funds to correct their mistake. We cannot hand out these stickers in good conscience. We apparently care about our Company image more than Decals.com does. We're now out a good sum of cash and will not be doing further business with Decals.com.
