I’ve been using Decanted for a little while now having used many other well known online fragrance providers. Well, as someone who has used Penhaligons and Tom Ford, I was hoping for a unique scent from the two samples I ordered.
Unfortunately, maybe it is my poor choice, but they smell ordinary. Like, a typical lad scent. They don't do it for me. But, it could be the choice I made.
Next time I am going to the shop to buy my Penhaligons. Familiar and unique and responsive to my aura.

Decanted offered a wide range of scents and sizes. I bought for myself and my mother for Mother’s Day. They are a great size for handbags and for travelling. The packaging was beautiful. I will definitely be purchasing again. Would reccomend to anyone.

I thought they would have been the miniature black and gold bottles especially for £30 …..!
So no not very please to be honest
And it’s unfortunate to as I have a bottle of Tom Ford .
So yeah for £30 not really worth it .

I'd like to highlight on this occasion, though, that we are not at fault or deserved of a negative review, especially a 1* given you firstly haven't understood the very nature of our business - a fragrance sample service, or read the product description on either of the two samples you purchased, where on three occasions it states what to expect when buying a sample. No where does it state that you are buying a 'miniature' version of the retail bottle.
We always want our customers to feel confident and informed when shopping with us, which is why we clearly state across the product page — the 2nd image illustrating the three sizes, the 'note' at the top highlighted in red which makes reference to reading the disclaimer at the bottom before purchase, and in our Sample Size Guide. Our samples come in high-quality glass atomisers that we hand-decant ourselves, not the miniature retail bottles from the brand, but professionally decanted fragrance samples designed for convenient and affordable testing.
As you felt it wasn't worth it - I wanted to also add some context regarding the price and value for money, your £28.98 order was for two Private Blend Tom Ford fragrance samples, one being a 3ml Tobacco Vanille - which is £14.99, working out at £4.99/ml, the smallest size from Tom Ford direct is a 10ml atomiser at £68 - working out at £6.80/ml - we are both cheaper and better value for money.
We understand it can be disappointing when expectations don't match up with reality, and we're always happy to help clarify anything before a purchase. We genuinely appreciate your support and would be more than happy to chat further about this — I’ve personally reached out to you via email. ~Brad

We’re genuinely disappointed to read your review, especially as a returning customer. This is the 2nd time you've ordered a 5ml sample and we'd assume the first one was fine before coming back and ordering another, so if you had suspected any issue such as leakage or a discrepancy with your most recent order, we wish you had reached out to us directly so we could look into it and make things right instead of reading about it a month later via Trustpilot.
All of our samples are carefully decanted using medical-grade syringes to ensure precise measurements, so the only explanation for any shortage would be a rare occurrence of leakage during transit. Had we been informed at the time, we’d have been happy to have investigated to offer a solution.
