On the 19th May I will be celebrating the start of a new life. I have always wanted to learn to play the piano since I was about six years old. In fact my family was gifted a piano in a relatives will, but none of us knew how to play it. It was a real Ebony upright and was incredibly beautiful as it had Mother Of Pearl flowers all along the panels. I’ve never forgotten it to this day. Unfortunately on a house move from London to Chester, it vanished, along with my dreams. Until a year ago when my husband bought me a keyboard. I had already found a couple of tuition people on the internet but they weren’t really what I was looking for. That is until I found, yes you’ve guessed it
DecPlay which ticked all the boxes. It definitely is the best form of Piano tuition.
A week later I could play Amazing Grace with relative ease and people could recognise it for what it was. I have not looked back since. I still make loads of mistakes but it’s not a problem because you can learn the course at your own speed.
My music folder is getting bigger and bigger , with the songs and classical music that I can now play. The best thing is the support from Dec and all my fellow players ante absolutely amazing! Just like Grace ha ha. Please do take this opportunity to learn to play the most wonderful instrument on the planet.

Rather than being a very structured and prescribed method of teaching where one size fits all, each student can learn at their own speed of progress finding different tunes and styles which appeal to themselves as well.as discovering a chance to move onto more advanced techniques and how many other people are also learning.

I did not have a special skill
In fact I was quite plain
I loved my job and my car

I started my DecPlay journey after many fruitless years of 'trying to work it out for myself'. Even in the early days of paying for a piano teacher, there was complete mysticism around a music sheet with two sets of lines with notes on it, simply I became snow-blind.
Then, 18 months ago I discovered Dec-Play, I think through a Facebook Ad. The mist and mysticism was lifted, suddenly with the Dec Play method, small, but positive steps were taken, through simple but clear guidance, my confidence started to grow, 'I can do it!'.
For anyone with a burning desire to and love of music and curiosity, yes, you can do it too.
Everyday I am learning, confidence is growing, a life life ambition is slowly but surely being achieved.

Decplay is the best piano tuition course I have came across, they say it’s mainly for older adults but I disagree, it’s for anyone young or older, and it just simplifies the art of piano playing. I joined the course about 5 years ago and I just love it, I find it so therapeutic, especially if I’m having a stressful time, as we probably all do at some point in our lives. Don’t hold back from joining, just do it, it’s worth every penny and the people you meet at the zoom calls are so lovely. Joyce Logan

In comparison to my granddaughter's traditional piano tuition I find this method more sensible for somebody who has no ambition to play piano concertos in an orchestra but would like to play accompaniment to songs or hymns remembered from life experience. This seems to fit the bill and Declan has the experience of both to know what is more likely to succeed in this endeavour.

Amazing way to learn back my piano play again. Very clear explanations. I now remember one of my friends who plays very well piano and he just ask to give him a numbers and he will play piano with those numbers:) Now I understand:) Thank you.

Playing the piano has always been an ambition of mine,thanks to Decplay I feel I am achieving that

After sales service is excellent and the company seems very friendly. The lessons are so enjoyable. There is only one problem for me is that I wish the music sheets were in larger print as I suffer with macular degeneration. I’m still trying to sort something out. I’m really glad I have invested in Decplay.

I'm learning piano after a 50 year gap. The lessons are helping me regain my playing ability.

Declan is very caring with follow up advice and keeps in touch with pupils. It is obvious a lot of work has gone into his system of teaching.

This way of learning is so interesting and rewarding, if you want to play piano but struggle this gets you up and running so quickly, but there is no quick way to learn an instrument so accept that and enjoy the process you will be playing in no time and the community support is fantastic. Now there is more and more sheet music available using Declan’s method you can enjoy this forever. I realise it’s hard to put into words how wonderful this is.

I’ve been on this course for about a month now and can already play a song.
I’ve been trying for years with little luck but now thanks to decplay it’s turning learning music fun and easy.
Well worth every penny I really think everyone who is interested in piano or keyboard to start this course.

Despite having a very good piano teacher in the past I found the going tough and not altogether enjoyable.
I'm finding the DecPlay course a lot easier to handle not having to deal with notation and a rather more enjoyable experience learning within a community of like minded people . I don't think you'd regret giving this course a go.

I've been with Decplay for a few weeks now and although I've been playing a few years teaching myself, mostly via YouTube, I've found the course refreshing and very informative, teaching me things I should have learnt in the beginning.
It provides a fundamental and enjoyable way to play the piano for all ages, but especially for us seniors. Declan encourages you to progress and achieve your goals to playing piano at all skill levels.
Bolstered by excellent support staff, it's an exciting meat-and-potatoes course to learn to play piano.

I whole heartedly agree with and support all that is said about the amazing DecPlay piano for seniors .
It's a wonderful platform to enjoy and learn to play the piano in ones own time , The numbers in place of traditional notage is so much easier to understand and be able play a tune and then of course to share progress with all other students .
I also think it must be great for the experienced members to be able to play their pianos and have the audience of all the DecPlay grateful students .
