Deep Cut makes handmade high-quality shelves that are sized perfectly for storing a vinyl record collection. We purchased two units to support our friends who are involved in the company, but then purchased four more when we got a glimpse of the finished product. The walnut shelves are absolutely beautiful and have been a standout feature of our home since they were installed.

The shelves arrived nicely packaged with the necessary screws for a stud installation. The shelves themselves are sturdy, easing any concerns about them holding up under the strain of heavy vinyl records.

The installation was fast and easy, requiring only a stud-finder, a few measurements, a level and a power drill. Post-installation the shelves were held securely against the wall, again, putting my mind at ease regarding the security of my collection.

I saw these shelves at a friends apartment and thought they were cool, so I decided to get some. Although I don't have records, I found the sleek design aesthetically pleasing and thought that they would be great for storing other stuff that I had. I ended up buying three of them and I mounted them staggered on a wall, creating a cool modern look.

They're heavy and solid and the shelves themselves required no assembly. The french cleat hanging system is something I have used in the past and is a very high quality way to hang most anything. The cleats they provide are slightly wider than the width of the shelves, allowing for some small side-to-side adjustments to be made after mounting, which was helpful in my case as I was able to achieve a clean vertical line along the staggered margins of my shelves with zero foresight. Just two screws to get the cleat on the wall and you hang your new beautiful shelf. I can't wait to get some more when I get a bigger place because they look really awesome and are very useful. Overall, very impressed!
