Excellent education for everyone
I had some technical issues but these were solved quickly. The customer service is excellent. The apps themselves are fun, educational, and so needed by everyone anymore. Even though I had a very good education, this is giving me a million dollar education for Pennie’s compared to going back to a university.

I was automatically charged for a…
I was automatically charged for a 1-year subscription through my Apple account without realizing it. There is no clear refund link or customer support contact available. What’s worse, I cannot even find Deepstash in my app download history anymore.
This experience has been extremely frustrating and feels very misleading. I have been trying to figure out how to request a refund, but there is no proper guidance provided.
Please improve your subscription transparency and refund support process for users.

Avoid, its taken me 3 times to cancel, I've contact customer service a number of times and just not responding. Do not use, the free trial is a scam and then difficult to cancel, you need to cancel subscription button 8 times to actual cancel. Just not good enough these days and will have to contact card company to get refund.

Zero Integrity
Like other reviewers, I've had a terrible experience with their company's customer service and integrity. I had cancelled my free trial before the 7 days were up, but to my surprise, I was charged $69.99. The first time I contacted them, they told me that I had cancelled my auto-renewal, and not my actual plan, which makes no sense. They refused to give me a refund, but instead told me they'd give me some sort of compensation, but they never did. Upon asking for further investigation, they stopped replying to me altogether...I don't know what to do at this point, honestly. This company is super deceptive and doesn't care about its customers at all.
I would also like to add that, upon downloading the app...it ensures you that it will give you a notification before your trial is up. Well, like other ewviews, I never got anything like that. Thank goodness I gave myself a reminder on my calendar, but it still charged me for the full price. I guess I should have never even considered trying out their free trial in the first place. What a scam.
Edit: I can also confirm that they also offered 24 months extension on this "Pro Subscription," but they never applied it to my account. What a joke!!!

After reviewing your account, we would like to clarify that the trial subscription was not canceled prior to the renewal being processed. According to our records, the cancellation occurred after the charge had already been completed, which canceled the next renewal cycle moving forward.
We can also confirm that a push notification reminder regarding the upcoming renewal was sent 2 days before the charge was processed, informing you about the upcoming payment in case the subscription was not canceled in time.
Additionally, we can see that a payment dispute has already been initiated through your bank. At this stage, the matter is currently under review directly by your bank and payment provider, who will determine the outcome of the investigation.
Please also note that your account still has remaining Pro access associated with the current subscription.

I love reading, and this app lets me read about all sorts of things. It is a great way to relax, learn, or just kill some time. The app runs great. It sure beats scrolling social media platforms.

Willing to keep trying, but so simplistic as to be painfully obvious. Material and presentation is at - at most - middle school level.
I can honestly say after going through 2 books, I have not been presented with one single new or unique concept or improvement method.

I like the topics
I like the topics, they are clear & consider. The quizzes are far too easy. You have just read the chapters and the quiz answers are always either top or bottom and only 2 to choose from so you really don’t even have to think about the choice.

Hidden charges and no warning or emailed receipt
I was charged $19.95 and did not notice it. Three months later I was charged $49.95. I had no idea what this was for. I think I looked at the site briefly before the first charge. I never created an account. I never got a receipt for either charge. I can’t get a hold of anybody. I requested refunds through an email and got no response. I canceled my credit card and had to deal with that hassle as well. Sneaky behavior.

Deepstash is a scam and they will steal…
Deepstash is a scam and they will steal your money. I started a trial subscription to Deepstash a few months ago. I cancelled the free trial well before the trial ended. I was just charged $49.95 well after the cessation of my trial. There are so many people sharing stories that are no different than mine. It is egregious behavior on the part of the application, and the people behind it.
I immediately contacted my bank to file a fraudulent charge and opened a fraud/misleading charges ticket against this company. I have also reported the app to Apple Support. Deepstash app and the people behind it need to be held accountable for shady business practices. Stay away from this horrendous “service” - $50 is a lot of money to most people and I hope nobody has to go through what I, and many before me have experienced.
