There has been a farm at Deer’s Leap for hundreds of years. Town Farm, as it was called, is recorded in the Doomsday book and was once owned by a noble Knight. From that day until the late 60's the Farm was a sheep farm. It has since been a western riding school, a holiday cottages complex and the ever-evolving business that we, The March Family, run here today. The main section of the current Farmhouse was built in 1834 and is packed with original features. Expect huge inglenook fireplaces, thick stone walls and a low, wonky doorway or two! We are lucky enough to have a lake with carp here and an all-weather tennis court, there’s also a games room with a pool table, table tennis and darts, but if that all feels a bit too energetic, you can unwind in the hot tubs and sauna, or relax with a good book and a glass of wine by the lake. Dear's Leap Retreat accommodation includes the Luxury 4-bed farmhouse, which caters for up to 6 guests, Dunkery Cottage, which caters for up to 4 guests, Hartford Cottage, which caters for up to 2 guests and 5 glamping tents, which are available from May until October.
