Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 151 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers express dissatisfaction with the product, finding the results unusable, often with poor or no motion, and sometimes even generating photos instead of videos. People also report that the platform frequently consumes credits for unsatisfactory or incorrect outputs, without offering a meaningful preview before charges are applied. Reviewers are particularly frustrated with the payment and subscription processes, citing unclear pricing, unexpected charges for full yearly subscriptions, and difficulties in managing or canceling these plans. However, some customers also noted that despite these issues, they found the tool impressive for its output quality, especially regarding lighting and motion effects, and appreciated the free monthly credits.

Do Not Subscribe

Do Not Subscribe - With the $300 annual subscription, I was unable to create a video longer than 10 sec AND said video did not read the designated lines as written. Waste of money.

Terrible!!!

This website pretends to be HeyGen, by naming their homepage like this so it appears first on Google. First of all, this is illegal.
Second of all, I actually paid for this service, and it's awful, the quality is horrific.
What a waste of money!

AI VIDEO SCAMMERS!

I THINK THIS IS AN INTERNATIONALLY ILLEGAL SERIVCE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I was charged $25 per month for a year subscription, $300. On using it I instantly found that it was incapable of creating even the simplest text to video content. There is no way of editing or regenerating the poor results so you have to generate from scratch only to get another terrible result. It burns through your monthly credit in shocking way. After 20 minutes I requested an immediate refund. They replied that I could not have a refund. In my country, after 20 mins use of an item that is largely illegal.
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!!
I ADVISE USING A TRUST WORTH AI VIDEO GENRATOR LIKE OPEN ART!!

You Can’t Make This Stuff Up!

Wanted to try making a single 10 second video. First text to video resulted in a foreign language being spoken. Two others provided an unrequested foreign language caption. A requested realistic completed sandcastle had 4 videos with sandcastle rising magically from the sand, 3 others had sandcastle moving sideways along beach, one other had a gazebo rising into the air and disappearing under the sand. All of these occurred with clear directions NOT to have rising or moving sandcastles, but to no avail. As a result of this experience I cancelled my 10 day trial on the first day, with these reasons provided. Three days later, with emails back and forth, I was informed that the fine print in the 10 day trial allowed them to not refund my money. This is most comical. I should also say that the quality seemed very good but it was an arduous task to communicate. I assume this company is outside the US. Wait a year for them to figure out the communication part. For now? Best to avoid unless you’ve got money to burn.

"I spent $35 on DeeVid and burned…

"I spent $35 on DeeVid and burned through credits extremely fast, with unclear pricing and automatic splitting into multiple short renders. Most of the generated segments failed (“FAIL”), and even the few successful ones had missing audio, making the output unusable. Overall, I lost time and money and did not receive the AI interview video I paid for."

Financially harmed by DeeVid.AI.

I believe I was misled and financially harmed by DeeVid.AI.

My experience involved charges and representations that did not match what was delivered. I am not the only person reporting similar issues, and I am currently exploring legal options, including the possibility of a class action, with others who have had comparable experiences.

I am also contemplating filing a complaint with the District Attorney’s office so this matter can be reviewed and to help prevent additional consumers from experiencing similar issues.

If you have had a similar experience, you may consider filing a complaint with the District Attorney’s office as well.

This review reflects my personal experience and opinion. I encourage others to do their own research before purchasing.

For maximum impact, you may file with more than one agency:
1. State Attorney General (Consumer Protection Division)
2. District Attorney (county where you reside or where harm occurred)
3. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) – for deceptive online business practices

SCAM

Super easy for them to take your money but their system does NOT do anything they say it does. I tried to chat numerous times and only got an AI chat with a msg stating that their team would be back later or the next day. I am on CST time and on Friday at 9 am it said they would be back Monday. WTF??? I emailed for a refund and was told by an obvious AI response that they didn't make any promises that their software would actually work and basically tough luck, no refunds. You can't even get a human for help. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

This is not what I was looking for and…

This is not what I was looking for and definitely a waste of money. The service is not what they advertise it to be. The focus seemed to be on selling credits rather than delivering any real value.
I paid $100 and did not receive anything close to what was represented. Because of that, I’ll be disputing the charge. I will not use this service again and would not recommend it to others.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS none existent.
Renderings even basic pic to video are horrible and unusable and you get charged for those "regenerations" which typically are no better.
Credits are monthly and do not rollover which is ridiculous.
Find another program as this is junk...

Interface is incredibly confusing

Interface is incredibly confusing, my clear video prompts are completely ignored, videos will not stay true to original line art
But instead will introduce entirely new characters/illustration; some of the videos provide absolutely zero animation, but instead creates just a slow pan out of from original image.
This site is as bad as it gets and I’m out 120 dollars. I feel foolish for having joined. I was also only able to generate twenty videos per month, not the forty as advertised.
I got three ok videos out of ten dollars. And they are not any better than free ai.
