I have purchased a pair of shoes from your store in the White Rose shopping centre today (22/0925) and was served by a young man called Darren. What a credit he is to your business he couldn’t do enough to help me. He rang another store Bolton, to enquire if they had another pair of shoes l liked in my size and he spoke to a young lady called Carol who was also very helpful, o beam now going to be purchasing another pair of shoes .. because of their outstanding service. I will be purchasing from your store again.
Also the 2 young ladies on the till were very helpful too. Lovely store a pleasure to shop there .

Very simple purchases today, namely involving asking for my new unworn shoes (from temu) to be sprayed with Deichmanns special waterproofing machine.
Thought it would take 3-5 mins, turned out it was done in circa 90 seconds.
Appreciated the staffs general politeness around the store and especially young master Joe's, who served me at reception so studiously.
Great company staff attitudes, couldn't ask for more! :)

I order from my local store in the summer to click and collect with no problem.
I have just opened an account online to buy a pair of trainers all went well until it would not accept my address it says it’s invalid.
I can’t click and collect from my local store as in the summer. I spoke to their Customer Services who did not listen to me kept repeating she could do it but couldn’t order for me. I became really frustrated then her idea was go into my local store and order! Really
The convenience of ordering on line is due to my disability. I have now bought from another store.

We were in the Bradford broadway shop yesterday for around 2 hours(very fussy child) and the staff were absolutely amazing 2 ladies ( Emma and Holly )in the children's department were run off there feet, cleaning up after messy people measuring feet helping find lost shoes and all the while smiling and joking, making both parents and kids comfortable in what is a very stressful time. We came away with 3 pairs of shoes. I will be back for winter boots and will recommend to everyone.

This morning we went into your Workington store. For school shoes for our Granddaughter. The Assistant Lou measured her feet, showed us what they had in her size, and showed us the second insole that was inside one pair. She was very friendly, helpful and polite. Great service

I write this review to say I am very disappointed with your staff workers in Ilford
After I visited today the 20/08/2025 at around midday.
I came looking for a low shoe which I found on the self. The shoe was number 5 unfortunately I could not locate any other boxed same size so I called a member of staff for assistance because I thought I could as well take the pair on display.
When she come, she asked me where the shoe was displayed and I showed her. She scanned the box which was in front of where I showed her and she said there are no other size 5
I did ask her if she could get the other partner for the one in display which was size 5 and she said the display shoes normally come singly and not a pair. I asked her if this is truly the case as I know most displayed shoes comes as a pair in a box and this is when she become irritated. As I was talking to her, I was still looking to see if I could locate another size 5 at the same time.
I finally found another size 5 in another location close by. She then started questioning me why I had told her I had found the shoe in another location and not where I located the shoe. I told her anyone could have kept the shoes in a different location and that is when she started showing me an attitude and saying this are not the same as the one, I showed her
She then went and called another staff who come saying I should explain what happened that her colleague was upset, I told her I only asked for assistance but it appears she does not want to be bothered
They both started arguing with me and using unpleasant language and they said I should leave the shop and that no shoes will be sold to me.
I went to the lady at the counter and asked to talk to the manager. She said the manager was not in and that she is wondering what I had said to her colleagues because she heard her arguing with me. I tried to tell her what happened but she was not interested to listen to me to my surprise, a customer assistance query was turned to be a full-blown disagreement and a very rude and defensive staff who seems very unfriendly .
I asked her why she cannot listen to my side of story and she said I should leave the shop because her colleague is upset.
She then told me to come on Friday as this is when the manager comes to work
I left the store and I told her I am shocked as they all seem to have very little respect for their own customers. She just looked at me and never commented
I found this behaviour so rude and unacceptable that staff do not want to be bothered and if you dare ask a question, they become argumentative, very rude with a bad attitude which is then defended by the other staff in the store. It’s a total total shame because I have been buying shoes in this shop every 3 months and those of my family and it’s unbelievable that staff can talk to their own customers like they don’t really matter.
Indeed all my colleagues could not believe there is any shop in UK which can treat their own customers in this humiliating way

The most awful experience at the Eastbourne East Sussex store. I found a pair of shoes I really loved, went to the till and asked the member of staff (with short black hair cut in a long bob, fair skin, blue/ brown eyes, small frame) “hi do you have any fresh pairs of shoes in the back because one of the shoes are a bit dirty?” Her response was absolutely uncalled for and extremely condescending and sarcastic “I cannot guarantee that someone’s foot has not been in that shoe!” Etc… As she responded like this, I said “it’s ok, I’ll leave it.” I proceeded to walk out the shop, when I saw her thrash the shoe that she was holding on the box in anger and stormed off. I was in total shock. As I was recording their customer service details down to make a complaint, she then came back and stood about half a meter away from me (no till in between me and her) and accused, argued, and raised her voice at me in front of all the other customers and colleagues. She was extremely aggressive in her approach and very confrontational. She kept reiterating three times that she won’t tell me her name (I asked another colleague of hers only once for her name as I was taking down the customer service details). I will be making a formal complaint against this member of staff because I can honestly say with all the years I have been shopping I have never been treated so badly. Hopefully they have CCTV cameras so the footage can speak for itself. I will not be returning (which is a shame considering I have been a loyal customer for years and years.)

Wanted to buy a pair of white trainers in store but only pair available had dirt on them from the display stock. Was told if I ordered instore a brand new pair would be sent to my home address. They arrived today even dirtier than the display stock in store. As if someone wore them in rain and then feturned them. Dirt along the side of the trainer as well as the soles. Website is now sold out of my size so I'm unable to order again. Completely unacceptable for the warehouse to send stock out in this condition.

Excellent value, I bought a cheap pair of trainers to wear for a holiday in Crete. I wanted something lightweight and comfortable.
I didn't expect them to last long.
We did a 13 mile hike along a famous gorge which is known for having very difficult terrain.
The trainers worked perfectly and I'm still wearing them.
I like them so much I bought another pair.
My local branch is the Norwich store, they didn't have my size but the very helpful assistant offered to have them sent to me at home postage free.
They arrived 2 days later.
fantastic service and we'll definitely keep going there.

Today I went to Deichmann, Westfield branch and I had an extremely bad experience with their customer service. They did not know how to treat customers. They didn't know their job as a sale assistant. They were unprofessional. Their attitude was like they were the owner of this brand. They were here for auditing. First, I chose couple of shoes and I asked one to help me finding a different size of the shoes I like but she refused to help twice me and literally replied me as " Miss, everything is here. You need to find yourself'. However, I found my shoes sizes and I went to the till. Again, two customer assistant misbehaved. As I was about to pay online via my bank account, the machine was not working. I told them to try another till machine but they refused to do so; instead two of the sale assistants were mocking at me with indication as if I were a thief. Later on, one of the sales assistance charged for a bag without anything. As I asked her 'why are you charging me for a bag without any shoes on it', she started shouting at me. She misbehaved with a customer. She did not accept her fault. More than that, she took the receipt with her to hide her fault and transaction. Then I called the manager and handled the situation. However, after all this, the sale assistant did not apologise to me at all. I am a regular customer of the same branch for 14 years. I did not expect such treatment from this brand and this branch. All the staffs were untrained and impatient.
Date: 12/07/2025 and everything happened between 7:30 pm to 8:13 pm.

I always find the service at the Aberdeen store commendable. Nothing is too much trouble for the assistants.
Recently I returned pairs of sandals and I was dealt with very efficiently and more importantly by a friendly member of staff who was sorry that I did not find a suitable pair of sandals on this occasion.
Nowadays I find this standard of customer care lacking in my other outlets.
Good range and competitive pricing also keep me going back.
