Where are my boots?

I ordered a pair of black boots on 2nd December and upon realising the delivery company for Deichman were Evri, who have a very poor reputation in my area (frequently delivering to the wrong address and also not delivering on the day stated) I decided to request 'click and collect' at the nearest store to me which is Harlow. On completion of my order Deichman put the estimated date of delivery as 5th December. I then received contact from Evri on 3rd December with a tracking reference. On 5th December I had a further email from Evri informing me that the estimated time of delivery was 15:30 - 16:30. On 6th December I received another email from Evri stating there was a delay with the delivery and that I would receive a further message about the delivery on Monday 9th. I was hoping to collect my boots on Friday 6th while I was in the area as Harlow is some 16 miles from my home but is the nearest store. I thought by requesting 'click and collect' from a store that I would be spared the unreliability of Evri - sadly not the case and I am disappointed. I have no idea if these boots I've paid for will ever arrive so I'm in limbo. I wouldn't order from Deichman again because of this experience. I hope the boots turn up and they are worth the wait.

Bought men’s James Chelsea boot Hush Puppies . These boots are so comfortable , I just love them . Very good value . They are real leather which you expect to pay more for . Very good company and will continue to buy footwear from this trusted company .

Diligent and Delightful Assistant

I have been searching for ages to find a pair of soft shoes after breaking five bones in my left foot which now requires personally made insoles.
Jess (Eastbourne Branch) deserved a medal for her professionalism and patience when helping me.
We tried quite a lot of shoes, fitting my special insoles, until Jess finally found me a pair which I felt able to wear. Honestly, she left no stone unturned in trying to please me and as I left the shop, I complemented her manager for employing such a diligent and delightful assistant. Thankyou Jess, you're a “one off”.

Misleading free delivery online…

Just to note that the delivery section of on line purchasing is quite sneaky. The free delivery ‘hook’ of orders over £39.99/Black Friday is a good one.
As soon as you add an order to your basket all the order details come up as expected, your address, your order etc. Then the delivery service is automatically pre selected for the highest service i.e evri express at £4.99. This should NOT be automatically selected by Deichmann, I would have assumed the lowest standard should be selected for you as default then it’s up to you to upgrade if you wish, surely? The Black Friday deal said your free delivery would be adjusted upon check out, obviously if you fail to see the small ‘change’ button on the delivery section then you will still be charged for the express service. You physically need to de-select the delivery option. The free delivery would only be honoured by selecting the standard service, which Deichmann obviously really don’t want you to select. Just quite misleading as assumed the delivery charge would be taken off at checkout. I raised this with customer service which is a pointless exercise as I was told repeatedly that I had selected the express service which is INCORRECT! I did NOT select the express service, Deichmann selected this for me and it’s up to me to try and find out how to de-select it! Crafty!! It’s not the figure of £4.99 I have a gripe about, it’s the principle and the stupid response you get from customer services as I know they just are reading from their training and procedures manual and do not read what I had to say. Just a bit of common sense and understanding please, but I know I’m asking for the moon and stars obviously. Just heads up everyone as I got caught out. Not everyone shops loads on line like myself and just not used to the crafty tactics used.

Deichmann Store purchase from Croydon…

Deichmann Store purchase from Croydon North End on 30.11.2024. After purchasing my footwear I was unexpectedly pulled backwards by the store security guard by my rucksack, from behind causing me to ask What do you think you are doing? He told me I was wearing my rucksack in a unusual manner. I was carrying the boots in a bag, not in my rucksack. The customer in front of me was turning back from the entrance as one of the pair of footwear that he had ordered set off the security barriers as they had not been deactivated by the cashier. This happened before I approached the barriers and I was still inside the premises. The security guard sharply yanking me backwards from behind caused me great alarm and distress as I had just paid £64.99 for a pair of boots, then treated like a shop lifter, without any provocation or cause. I was in the store for at least 15 minutes trying on different designs before choosing. Please check your CCTV footage. I was so disgusted I immediately returned the boots back to the till and sought a refund. You cannot treat honest paying customers like this. I am also considering reporting the matter to the Police as I am sure correct protocol was not followed. I did not know who was pulling me backwards as he was behind me and did not say anything before man handling me. I believe this is assault.

Wonderful service again from the Watford Team

I have always had the most amazing service from the team at Deichmann in Watford and last week was no exception. They are patient, helpful in advising and, nothing is too much trouble. I have been shopping there for years as their shoes have always been great value. I was looking for some walking boots and the pair I purchased were robust with good tread, well made and under £20.00. I also had them waterproofed and apparently you can get any shoes waterproofed not just purchased ones! I have also purchased sandals, boots, and school shoes and all have stood the test of time. Well done Watford team and thank you for your help on so many occasions. You are all Stars!

I am a local at the Deichmann in…

I am a local at the Deichmann in Bexleyheath.I just walked in this morning looking for shoes for my kids.I entered and had a look at the shoes so I wanted a particular one in a size 3 so I approached a lady who happened to be the Manager on the shop. To begin with her responds was very bad.I mean very unhelpful and not willing to help because she has to change posters rather than serving a customer.Which means I the customer don’t come first.She finally managed to get the shoe in an adult size.I ignored that attitude and focused on getting the shoe.I was looking for another one as I had two kids, so I asked her where I could find the other size and her attitude still remained very much someone who was under pressure because they were understaffed.She nearly threw the box at me and just flipped.She had a whole lot of attitude.So I tried to calm her down.In her defence I was being aggressive so she could security.She couldn’t serve me anymore.She called security.Thank God there was another customer who called her out for what she was saying.She really did give me a very bad experience and her approach was rather not great being a store manager.She didn’t even resolve the issue with any apology whatsoever.She immediately refused me service.She used words like I am being aggressive,I am soo traumatised by her behaviour and very much not happy at all at this display of attitude.She just gave me a bad service.I didn’t deserve this treatment.This was personal attack.

I visited Deichmann and they embarrassed me !

Today 922/11/24)I visited Deichmann showroom in Coventry City centre with a friend and was looking for some shoes ! I couldn't find the correct size I wanted and I did seek assistance of a sales assistant too. But still I could not find the correct size for me. So, we left the showroom and went towards Primark. When we were passing Star Bucks a girl with a Purple/Pink hair came chasing for us. And said, she wants to check our bags. It was such an embarrassing situation for us. All the people were looking at us like we were thieves. Then she asked us to come to the entrance of the show room and checked our bags, I had a shoe bag and the bill of the same, which I purchased from Shoezone while ago. So she checked my bill in detail, and questioned me whether I bought 2 pairs of men's shoes. This was really unexpected and such a shameful thing to do. She did not even apologise for misunderstanding. If your sales assistants want to check our bags they should have checked before we leave the showroom. And more than everything do they do this only for ASIANS? May be they have had bad experiences with them but there is a way to handle rather than humiliating people.
There was another incident happen couple of months ago, me and my husband was at the cashier to pay for shoes and the girl (I think it's the same girl with purple/pink hair) shouted out saying "here come two more and watch them" we turned and had a look at the entrance and there weas an Asian couple entering the store. We were shocked to hear that. We were really disappointed about this and you should not count all the Asians as thieves. This is really a discrimination. If you don't trust Asians why do you let them come in ! This is such a pathetic situation. If you don't trust them u should appoint a security guard or some officer at the entrance to keep an eye, rather than humiliating people or put people in inconvenience situation and embarrassment. Right now I'am going through a stress because of the embarrassment I had to face today. I kindly request you to check on this and I want someone to apologize for this incident. I really regret about how your staff react on Asian people and it is totally a discrimination. I repeat it is a DISCRIMINATION. You need to take immediate action to stop this.
I expect and urgent attention !!!!!!!

Bad service take responsibility

Hello I’m not happy with the service I received from customer service

I bought a product from them that turned out to be faulty it was a dye for black sued I followed the instructions shake well before use then when I took the lid off black ink went absolutely everywhere all over my expensive joggers and all over my moms carpet I spoke to the store and they were nice enough they gave my the details on how to contact customer service

When I contacted customer service they said that they will refund me for my joggers and for the carpet cleaning they asked me for the receipt for the joggers which I didn’t have so I went back to the store to try to get a duplicate receipt but they wasn’t able to so I took a picture of the label of the same joggers and I sent them a picture of the invoice from the carpet cleaning as well but they have dismissed all the information that I sent to them the fact is the carpet needs replacing all together because the stain didn’t fully come out

The faulty product has caused a lot of damage and they are not taking responsibility for it even after offering to replace it all they are saying there’s nothing they can do because I haven’t got receipt's to prove even though they have pictures of the damages that’s been caused I’m not happy at all

If I could give less stars I would

To clarify, we require an official invoice that includes the carpet cleaning company's name, address, VAT number, and company registration number, as well as details of the work carried out on your carpet, for auditing purposes. This was previously communicated to you. A handwritten note lacking these essential details is not sufficient.

Regarding the receipt for your joggers, sending a photo of a pair of Hugo Boss joggers does not fulfil the requirement for a receipt. Moreover, the joggers in the photo do not match the brand or style of the joggers we believe you purchased, which we understand to be SilkSilk.

Additionally, we provided a freepost returns label for you to send the joggers to our Head Office, but this was declined.
Please note, most businesses maintain records of sales, and you should be able to obtain a replacement receipt for some time after your purchase.

Rude staff - I am unsure if the staff are still employed there but the manager was very aggressive when an issue was brought to their attention with shoes I purchased (King's Lynn).

Failed to sell even thought website price is same

Always excellent products

I've bought quite a few pairs of trainers online from Deichmann over the past few months. I do buy branded trainers, but am not a brand snob, and will buy whatever I think looks nice. Every pair I have bought have been true to size, and look, and are,of excellent quality. Always have been comfortable too. Some have been full price and some sale price. I think a lot of their product styles are nicer than the big name brands. I would normally use collect in-store for most places I order from, but for Diechmann it would cost me more in travel fare to get to my nearest store. Also, delivery is really fast.
