He is a scammer

He is a scammer, he makes money off discord subs and is thousands of dollars underwater from trading. He is one of the worst.

He asked his discord to all give him positive fake reviews, don't believe the crap below.

Ok so I wrote a review a while back of…

(*** updated on May 10, 2024**** look at what Shawn Dekman did. He paid for a bunch of five star reviews. Yes you can do that, and he just did that. For a few years he had five or six reviews on here, mostly one star. Then all of a sudden out of nowhere, on May 2, 2024 he has a ton of fake positive reviews. He paid a service the cheap plan to write fake reviews because there will be a ton in a very short period of time, and then none. If he paid for the deluxe plan they will be spread out over time. The swindling continues. Ok my initial review is after this part. Oh in case anyone is wondering how I know to check his reviews here, when I was in his trading group, I became friends with one of his paid employees and exchanged numbers and texted a lot about stocks and life in general. This person streamed and I think still live streams as one of Deks employees. They say Dek is a gambler and can’t trade and knows of my reviews on trust pilot. This person told me to go look at all the new reviews today so I did. Laughable and people should be wise to fake reviews these days)

Ok so I wrote a review a while back of this clown, in great detail. I left his group in 2022 and I was paying $99 a month. The guy lost more money than he made and he increased his membership after I left. Now he’s raising it to $199 a month. He’s not a winning trader, he’s a swindler. He’s made millions by his memberships. Do yourself a favor and watch him trade live all day on Thursdays on YouTube. He always shorts or does put contracts and guesses what he thinks the top will be without confirming anything. On his twitter page he has payed employees write responses to his posts but he ignores or removes negative comments. The SEC will be alerted to this guy in due time and see if he’s doing illegal or Sketchy practices in his business. Do not pay this a$$hole 199 bucks.

Disappointed

Sad, because i expected finally one transparent and honest trader. But he is like 99% of the social Media traders that live off subscriptions and not from trading.

If I could give ZERO I would have

If I could give ZERO I would have. He’s a complete fraudulent hustler imho. Tried for a month and when someone asked where he was ytd in March he had to admit he was thousands underwater. He professes to be the best trader in the world (or did at one point). Complete and utter nonsense!!!

Was with them for a little over a year but…

Was with them for a little over a year. Over all it wasn’t a bad experience because you learn if you watch the videos in his online library but you can get that stuff for free on YouTube. The guy has a lot of passion and energy for trading but he doesn’t practice what he preaches. He gambles money in his trades which he can do because he makes probably 300-400 k a month from paid subscribers. Now about that, the time I was in the group he does some shady things to get subscribers…one is posting on YouTube and probably all other social media platforms that he is doing a small account challenge. What that is is he starts at a few thousand dollars in a trading account and says he will turn it into 25k or what ever number..above the PDT either way.. this is a tactic to boost his subscriptions and it works. New traders flock to his page but what happened twice in the time I was there is he abandoned the whole thing and lost on most of his trades and then went back to his big account where he trades nothing like he teaches. He gambles large sums on shorting stocks usually (Tesla 90% of the time) and he does it when Tesla is still moving up and shows no signs of letting up. He guesses and then gets out with a loss most of the time. He claimed to have made over 500k last year but in 2022 I can say with 99% assurance that he is in the red. But again, his subscribers is where he makes his money.

Secondly, he has posted videos on YouTube and probably other social media that he has 10, one million dollar traders that live stream daily. I know for a fact that a few of them are barely in the green if they’re green at all. A few of them left because they got into it with Sean. Of course I have no proof if any of them are millionaires and if they are if it’s from trading. I can say without any doubt that in 2022 they are losing more money than winning.

Thirdly and this is an oddball thing to notice and may or may not have any relevance but once in a while Sean aka “Dek” as in Dekmar his last name will do giveaways. Sometimes money and sometimes free monthly subscriptions but he does it to get people to like and share his content on YouTube or Instagram. He will say something like everyone go like my video on YouTube entitled (then he posts a link in tradecaster) and his live YouTube audience can hear it too…you must like and share the video and the first one to answer a random question wins the prize. It’s usually and almost always someone In trade caster because he wants to lure people from YouTube in to subscribe for 100 bucks a month and I think he raised prices recently to 120 maybe? Another way he does it he does the same stuff as described above but then he does a thing that somehow puts everyone’s name that liked or shared or both the YouTube video into a random name selector. It stops on a name and he reads the name of the so called “winner” in the tradecaster chat. Now heres the scammy part, it’s always a name that I never ever saw before NOR ever saw them comment in chat which leads me to believe it’s a made up name that his company makes so the winner is really no body.

Sorry this was so long, but I think the guy is all business and has his live streamers do most of the work because he’s usually done streaming himself by 10 am and might come back for an hour in the afternoon . The guy is entertaining and energetic but I saw no signs of him ever consistently winning his trade OR his live streamers despite his claim of making 500k + in 2021. Since he also says his live streamers are millionaire traders and I’ve watched their live streams can assure they aren’t winning all that much to make that kind of money. It’s been a while since I’ve been in there so maybe things have changed but I doubt it because I recently say him post new YouTube videos using the same old tactics to get new subscribers.

I gave them a 3 star review because overall you do learn but be careful learning HOW to trade by watching him trade. Get the info and pay attention and make your own strategies. Don’t gamble it. I started with zero knowledge of the stock market and after I left I had to break very bad habits that I learned from DEK that’s aren’t the right way to trade. You need to confirm that a stock has changed directions to go long or short

In my other reviews, I reviewed another live trader named Ross Cameron from warrior trading. I am in no way associated with him but i learned more by watching him trade live for a few months than I did from DEK. Read that review if you want. Never paid a dime but absorbed his trading by watching and listening. You will learn the same from DEK but you’ll learn what NOT to do IMO. DEK wins some big winners but loses more than he wins and they have to equal to over all losing more money. My opinion is DEK is a better businessman than a trader and his money comes from subscribers

Trust pilot won’t let me post if my experience was over a year ago so I made it a year ago
