Delivery Partner Stole My Property, No Action by Company
On 01/10/2025, I booked a delivery through this app from Golcha Cinema, Delhi under Order No. #CRN1678004918HF. The assigned delivery person, Vikas (bike no. UP 14 GE 4947), appeared intoxicated when he arrived. I handed him a bag for delivery.
Soon after leaving, I noticed on live tracking that he was moving in the opposite direction of the delivery address. I immediately tried calling him on 9548704492, but his phone was switched off, and the parcel never reached the destination.
I reported the matter to customer support, expecting immediate help. Shockingly, they said there would be no refund or compensation for the stolen items and advised me to go to the police, which I have done. A formal complaint has been filed to police .
This experience was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. It is unacceptable that a delivery person under the company’s name can steal a customer’s property while the platform takes no accountability or action. Allowing a delivery agent who appeared drunk to handle orders is a serious safety and trust issue.
The company must take strict disciplinary action against the delivery partner, cooperate with the police investigation, and compensate for the customer’s loss. Ignoring such incidents puts other users at risk and severely damages the credibility of the service.
Until these issues are addressed, I strongly do not recommend using this app for deliveries. Customers deserve safety, responsibility, and support not negligence and denial after a theft.
