I ordered Waitrose groceries at 7.30pm…

I ordered Waitrose groceries at 7.30pm tonight. After 2 hours I rang Waitrose to see where my order was as they had said it would be 40 mins max. Waitrose told me the deliveroo rider stole my bag of groceries. Waitrose sent me my order again luckily. Deliveroo - what kind of people are you hiring???

I wish I could give it worse than 1…

I wish I could give it worse than 1 star. They give you a delivery time, once you click on the restaurant they give you a range for the delivery time but even the lower end is always higher than the initial announced delivery time (and the higher end is around double that). More often than not, the order comes later than that initial range. What is worse, is that you are charged a delivery and service fee, and part of the reason why your order is late is because they ask their riders to make various deliveries along the way (but the charge you the same regardless of whether they are charging other customers for the same rider).
When you try to talk to their customer service they pretend none of the above is true and do not have a process to lodge formal complaints, just do copy paste of messages that are honestly insulting to customers by pretending they’re stupid.

Most of the time the order is damaged…

Most of the time the order is damaged by the driver, wrong or had arrival ingredients not listed on the site so we end up throwing some away as there are certain things we won’t eat. The chat feature is okay but when you get refunded £3.60 for half of a £70 order that’s ruined it’s disgusting

Dreadful service

Dreadful service. Do not use. Took 50 pounds off me, didn't deliver my groceries, and then when I contacted Customer Service, they refused to issue a refund. After a lot of battling over the course of two days, they finally agreed to issue a Deliveroo credit (which was useless to me, as nothing on earth could make me use this company again). Appalling

Avoid at all costs…

There were missing items from my online order. I contacted them about this issue and they told me that they will look into it. However, I didn't hear back from them for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, Julianne from the customer service asked me to provide photo evidence. If I can't provide it, she said my claim will be denied and closed. It's been 2 weeks and you're telling me this now! I've never experienced anything as such. Avoid!!!

Two items were completely missing and…

Two items were completely missing and when they refunded the cost, they sent the wrong amount (4.65 instead of 5.10). They also refused to refund priority delivery cost despite the delivery being late.

I am disgusted in Mikhaela who claims to be a team leader. Who ended the chat while i was mid typing because she is UNABLE to deal with complaints. I received rotten fruit and she would not refund my order. The customer Service is AWFUL

Terrible customer service

Deliveroo customer service is rude and terrible. Don't order from them they put fake delivery times up and then won't let you cancel even when they are 30 minutes later than advertised. They then give you a £1 credit. Pathetic. I have done hundreds of orders with them but will delete my account

Close this mother down

I had the diamond plus subscription (~25£/month). They have the worst customer support. The order was always wrong. The customer support did not help. Their policy was awful. The solutions they provided were ridiculous (5£ compensation for an order of 50£ gone wrong). They talked like their responses were written by an AI platform. Even the guys from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia treat their customers with more care.

Never trust deliveroo

I made an order for delivery to my home address & waited for 2 hour but haven’t got delivered so i went to to help option & got a number & spoke with one of the Customer service adviser he said food has been delivired but i haven’t got it. I tried to chase the detail of the delevery driver & spoke to customer service but they said they don’t have their detail & can do nothing . I am never gonna make an order from deliveroo anymore . This makes me really piss off.

Ordered from local store who use…

Ordered from local store who use deliveroo. Due to not having photo id driver took goods out of order which required id. I asked for all order to be returned but was refused. Why photo id is needed when you can clearly see its an oap you delivering to is a joke. In future if it deliveroo delivering then i will not use
