Half my order arrived and week later…

Half my order arrived and week later after speaking to Nikki and Maria I have not got a refund. They constantly ask me the same question even though I have answered it and they seem totally incompetence at small tasks. Just overall a really frustrating customer experience and a really poor customer service team with little training and no one to escalate to.

I'm not surprised this awful company…

I'm not surprised this awful company only has one star and that there are many reports of cold food. I recently made a complaint to deliveries about yet again recieving cold food, I was told I would be compensated but then received an email saying they have suspended my account and will not be issuing me a refund!!! DO NOT order from this company unless you want freezing cold food. I am taking matters further!!!

Thank you to deliveroo for a lovely hot meal served cold as always. They stack the orders so your food sits going cold and then they have the nerve to refund 1/4 of the fee. This country’s gone to shit not taking this scumbag company along with Ubereats and Just Eat to task!

Customer service unable to resolve a simple issue

While placing an oder I did not realise my card will be charged. When rider arrived I gave him cash for the order plus a tip for him, total £55. He accepted it and walked away. When I realised my card was charged, I contacted Deliveroo to clarify the situation. They said the rider left the area and they couldn't do anything. I trust they know who picked up which order, but did not even bother to ask the rider and resolve the matter. Very poor customer service.

The worst customer service

My order was cancelled hour and half after i ordered it. The store accepts my order. I wait for more than hour and they cancel it. And they think a refund solves all my problems. This is a joke. Here is an idea, in my country, delivery companies punishes stores that accepts the orders and fails to deliver it to prevent that from happening. Not reliable at all. The problem is not getting my money back. You make me wait for more than hour thinking my order will arrive because the store accepted it. When they cancel it, there is nowhere else left open. I could have just order from somewhere else. I will never use this joke of a company again.

“Invalid gift card”

Despite having a valid gift card to use, customer services state it’s not valid. £50.00 absolute waste. Even state in their response “we’re unregulated” and “won’t respond any further”. Terrible.

Absolutely terrible company

Absolutely terrible company.

I would not trust this company at all, absolutely fails to protect customers and simply do not care. Robbed money for food that was not delivered due to it being stone cold and did not care. Stay away at all costs.

Worst customer service experience I’ve…

Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had! I tried to order 2 acai bowls, however, when I tried to pay, the app said there was an error and I had to close it and open it again. When I went back onto the app, my order did not show that it went through and neither had my bank, so I placed the same order again. This time, it went through, but so did the first order. So I had been charged twice for the same order. I immediately contacted Deliveroo and asked them to cancel the first order. They told me they would call the store to cancel it. I received no further communication from them. When my order arrived, all 4 acai bowls were delivered, so they did not cancel my order in time. I contacted Deliveroo again to let them know and to ask for a refund (as I only wanted 2 acai bowls, and this was an error on behalf of their app). I was told that they could not refund me because the items had already been delivered, and that this was a lesson for the future to wait next time. Absolutely terrible outcome. The customer is paying for the app malfunctioning and for the staff not following through with cancelling the order. I genuinely don’t understand how a refund could not be given when I communicated everything immediately. Never using Deliveroo again, Uber Eats and Just Eat has much better customer service. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced!!!!!!!

Worst customer services I've ever…

Worst customer services I've ever encountered. Local places menu is showing optional items as mandatory and they're all at extra expense so you're forced to have items with an order that you don't want. This doesn't happen on any other food ordering site. I emailed customer services who sent back a generic thanks for your feedback response. It wasn't feedback, it's an issue that needs resolving. Then someone else emailed asking for screenshot, sent then. Then SOMEONE ELSE responded saying sorry you recieved the wrong item. WHAT??? Then another person emailed saying to contact the restaurant, I did, they said Deliveroo have the control. Then yet another person responded saying sorry the items you want aren't available. What is wrong with these poeple? I'm convinced they have 4 year olds replying, although, I'm sure a 4 year old would do better

Rider behaviour

I was walking out from a side road about to cross when a Deliveroo rider cycling quite fast on the pavement rode straight into me! He hit my arm & leg with impact. I later discovered a black stain on my jumper which after 2 washes is still there. I logged a complaint with their complaints system, Resolver, which appears to have no one monitoring it. The response was:

Before riding with Deliveroo, every rider completes a course in road safety training. Beyond this, all Deliveroo riders are given extra guidance to help make sure they're focused on road safety whenever they work with us. We’re sorry if this wasn’t the case in this instance.

We expect all our riders to obey the rules of the road, and thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Your feedback has been shared with our Rider Engagement team, who will reinforce the importance of safety at all times when working with Deliveroo.

Thanks again for getting in touch, and if you have any further queries do let us know.’

This doesn’t offer any form of compensation for my now ruined jumper and bruised hand or any way for this to be dealt with efficiently. Riders should not be cycling on the pavement ever.

I stupidly decided to use Deliveroo…

I stupidly decided to use Deliveroo again after blatant staff fraud which was not addressed. I then received another order where there was clear theft by eiher Deliveroo or one of their vendors. Again, this was not addressed or acknowleged. I never leave reviews but this was just shocking. I would just advise to stay away.

Deliver are using illegal immigrants

Deliver are using illegal immigrants. They do not understand or speak English and do not deliver to your door, sometimes steal the food. I once asked for passport details from a delivery guy as he was shockingly illiterate. He ran away! Deiveroo has the audacity to charge the amount they do. I will be pursuing this with the required authorities.

Their driver stole my groceries

Their driver stole my groceries. They did not disclose the name of the driver who had stolen from me.

I have uninstalled their app and will NEVER order via Deliveroo again.

Their drivers are thieves/criminals.

Customer service refused to compensate me.

Pure greed

If you provide a service, then provide it. Don’t make people pay for a quality that should be part of the business model. Charging people £2.50 just to receive the service promised is digusting. This is a multi million pound company and instead of being excellent, they’re figuring out new ways to **** their customers. Awful, awful, awful company. Think about your choices and who you’re giving your money to.

2 HOUR WAIT AND COLD

my order was £63 it said an hour deliver but it came after 2 hours and was cold!!!! We was also on our way out so we didnt have time to eat! Deliveroo only offered £13 compensation not good enough

Received a completely wrong order

Received a completely wrong order. Nothing was correct. Contacted order help and although a refund was offered, they did not offer to organise my actual order to be sent. Total shambles.

Do not use!!!

Ordered £18 worth of food, paid extra for quick delivery and extra because apparently 3.2 miles is a long way away. They sent it on a bicycle that took over half an hour to arrive, food was stone cold. They offered £7 refund and no more. Absolute joke of a company. Account deleted, will never use them again.
