On time and correct item
Awful experience with delivery to return my coffee machine
I purchased a coffee machine via John Lewis which broke down and was sent to repair collected by dpd. When fixed the item was delivered without a reference from dpd so I didn’t understand that it was being delivered when they rang the intercom. The guy went “oh ok” and took the box then I saw it was delongui went downstairs to explain the guy wasn’t interested he started the van me besides it very dangerously he could have run me over and didn’t care. Customer service not only they don’t care they claim I refused delivery. Will be making a complaint to the citizens advise bureau next week as I came back from a trip suffering from vertigo and this is not what I need to recover. I second opinions re a very dodgy delivery company which doesn’t seem related to the official delingui or dpd as per standards.

AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yet again, fraudulent activity by delivery company
Ordered two ac units for a terminally ill family member for upstairs and downstairs, hoping to make the last few weeks (hopefully months) more comfortable.
Unit for her bedroom was a higher spec but delivered incorrectly and addressed in a previous review.
Second unit I ordered was lower spec to use downstairs and this has had to go in her bedroom because the unit for her bedroom that was delivered is even lower spec.
Ridiculously noisy, kicks in every few seconds and she had a worse nights sleep using the unit than she did without.
Outside of this,
Raised serious concerns about delivery company falsifying paperwork, not offering to deliver to room of choice and forging my signature.
Both Delonghi and the delivery company guaranteed me it wouldn’t happen again.
Second unit was delivered yesterday, again, driver dumped at the front door with me and went to leave; I said “you know you’re supposed to deliver to the room of choice, right?”
Was met with, “oh so you want it upstairs”
Guy from the van came and helped him, one took his shoes off, one wore boot covers.
Delivery paperwork again not reviewed with me, questions and things under “customer” not asked.
Marked as delivered to living room with wooden floor.
Was delivered to bedroom with carpet on the stairs.
Again, signature forged.
I have ring doorbell footage of everything that happened and not once did I sign anything.
Obviously falsifying documents and forging signatures is common practice with this delivery company and delonghi done nothing to ensure it didn’t happen again.
Finally, also waiting for the proof of delivery photos being sent to me, Delonghi won’t acknowledge my emails about this and the delivery company won’t provide them as their contract isn’t with me.
I’d recommend avoiding delonghi, customer service couldn’t care less, don’t have any interest in remedying their mistakes and delivery company willingly commit document fraud on 2 out of 2 deliveries
This AC unit has transformed my summer…
This AC unit has transformed my summer in France which, during the 40C week last month, was quite miserable. Setting up, however, was not straightforward, and, as an engineer, I had to make one or two additions to get the hose to fit the window perfectly. As is common in this industry, none of the parts provided to fit the window fit a 'normal' window, only the sash windows that I don't think are even made any more! Anyhow, I am considering buying more DeLonghi units in future. If you are wondering if the 'silent' feature is really silent, it most certainly isn't, but the effects of room cooling are sufficient to allow the unit to be switched off during the night. On a day of 37C I use it three times (morning, afternoon and evening) for about 1 hour, and then a final switch on for 2 hours before bedtime.
Don’t trust the offers
I purchased the rivelia. The offer clearly included the lattecreama as a free item.
When I applied the Blue Light discount code the offer was still clearly showing on the website.
I placed the order and now Delonghi are refusing to honour the offer and now are refusing to answer my emails. They say that the offer was rescinded when the discount is applied. However it clearly is still shown on my order.
Terrible customer service and poor website design.

My honest review
Delivery was straight forward and didn’t take long to get here plus the delivery guy was a nice fellow, Iv had this a couple of weeks and im really enjoying it, It works well and did get a discount on it i had my doubts but as an entry level coffee machine it’s been really good.
I’m loving the coffee it makes and despite what some people say trust me it’s hot enough.
Full Circle to the Rivelia...the Ultimate B2C Compact Coffee Machine!
Over the last 30 years I have bought a fair selection of brands of bean to cup machines (initially, a funky white De'Longhi ground coffee machine circa 1980)...all with varying pros and cons...coming full-circle back to De'Longhi and the Eletta. After 8 years of use, it has been passed to my son for investigative repair and tinkering, or the tip. So, I researched new developments in the bean-to-cup coffee machine world that would match up to the bespoke features of the Eletta and found the Rivelia Compact in White. It seemed to be absolutely perfect for 2 people and offered all the features I would have modified on an Eletta upgrade, given the opportunity. Too good to be true?
The De'Longhi website offered a discount voucher which I initially had trouble accessing. I emailed and customer services replied promptly with a special promo code for the Rivelia: responsive, friendly, courteous customer service! Promising! Ordered the Rivelia...simple, easy process. It arrived 3 days later through Royal Mail and I opened the box with trepidation, feeling sure that it couldn't be everything it promised and would not be as flexible as the Eletta. Well...it is....and more! It is a really neat, modest yet funky design and is absolutely perfect where surface space is precious: smaller, neater footprint/cubic capacity, streamlined operation and more manageable cleanable parts. And, for anyone who knows their beans and does not want to compromise on their coffee, the 'empty the grinder' and 'stop' water options are brilliant, allowing one to swap beans and stop water without any waste. Every time I use this machine, I cannot believe it is as good as I could have hoped for. I can only hope that, in this crazy world of built-in obsolescence, with the correct care and treatment, it lasts as long as its predecessor. Well done to the designers of the Rivelia!
Misleading promotion and disappointing customer service
I purchased a Rivelia LatteCrema (Jade Green) directly from De’Longhi’s official website because it clearly advertised: “Buy a Rivelia and get a LatteCrema Cool upgrade on us – Free LatteCrema Cool Kit with any Rivelia purchase (RRP £100).” The promotion was also highlighted when I added the machine to my basket, so I had every reason to believe I was eligible.
However, when my order arrived, the free LatteCrema Cool Kit was missing.
I tried calling customer service several times but couldn’t get through. I eventually contacted an agent via the online chat, who told me the promotion had ended on 24 June. That explanation simply doesn’t make sense, because the promotional banner was still displayed on the website and was actively shown during checkout when I placed my order. If the offer had expired, the advertisement should have been removed. Continuing to display it is misleading to customers.
Rather than resolving the issue, I was told the case would be referred to the commercial team, with a response taking up to 10 working days. When I asked for a confirmation email or reference number so I could follow up, I was assured an email would be sent after the chat. No email ever arrived.
This has been a very frustrating experience. I expected much better from a premium brand. Not only was the promotion misleading, but customer service was also difficult to reach and unable to provide a straightforward solution or even a basic case confirmation. I hope De’Longhi reviews both its promotional practices and its customer service processes to prevent other customers from having the same experience.

De’Longhi Rivelia stuck in descaling process
I purchased a De’Longhi Rivelia coffee machine because I trusted a brand like De’Longhi and never expected a product in this price range to have such serious reliability issues.
The first descaling cycle completed without any problems. However, during the second descaling cycle, the machine froze and became stuck in the descaling process.
Customer support instructed me to send the machine in for repair. What followed was an extremely long and frustrating process. I shipped the machine to the authorized service center in Hungary, where I live. After inspecting it, the Hungarian service center determined that it could not be repaired locally and had to be sent to Italy. The Italian service center then confirmed that the machine was beyond repair.
I was subsequently sent a document by mail stating that I was entitled to a refund. I then had to scan this document and send it back to the Hungarian service center. They had to verify my eligibility for the refund, a process that alone could take up to 14 working days. After that, I had to wait several more days for the refund to be processed. Only then was I able to purchase a new coffee machine, which also required additional shipping time.
In total, I had to wait approximately two months before I could have a working coffee machine again, even though it was already clear within the first week that the original machine was defective.
Despite this experience, I decided to give De’Longhi another chance and purchased a second Rivelia in Hungary.
Unfortunately, the result was exactly the same. During the very first descaling cycle, the new machine developed the identical fault: it became stuck in the descaling process, and there was no way to exit the cycle or use the machine again.
Now I have to send this machine to the service center as well. I sincerely hope that, since this one was purchased through Amazon, the replacement or refund process will be much faster than my previous experience.
Really love my new kettle and toaster
Really love my new kettle and toaster. Looks really lovely in my kitchen colour scheme too.
Delivery was prompt, no delays
Product is great
Product is great. Cool the 10m2 room quickly. But the delivery is slow. Took a week to deliver.
Great decision, even better coffee
Arrived quickly, and makes great coffee. So nice to be able to try out different beans and brews with minimum fuss. We debated making the investment for months but very pleased to have done so. Initially daunting to set up and use but the videos and step-by-step guidance on the machine itself made it all very easy. We’ve had it 3 weeks now and morning coffee time is a real treat.
Great all round service..good…
Great all round service..good price..received on time...packaged well..and absolutely love my new toaster 😁
Broken item delivered → returning is a saga
After being driven around by UPS for more than a week, my mobile Airco arrived damaged.
De'Longhi can't trade it, only return it. Costumer service tells me I need to start the return procedure myself, on the Order page.
The button doesn't exist. Buying from De'Longhi Is been one of the most frustrating experiences I had in quite a while and I recommend you stay away from it.
Delivery great
Delivery great, I ordered it from you because the one I had from Amazon, despite being under warranty was unable to be fixed when one side of the toaster stopped working.
I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with this seller. I ordered a coffee machine together with a milk container. After waiting 10 days for delivery, the coffee machine arrived faulty and could not be used. On top of that, the milk container I paid for was missing from the package.
Waiting this long only to receive a defective product and an incomplete order is unacceptable. I expected much better quality control and customer service. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this seller based on my experience.
The A/C works very well and we are…
The A/C works very well and we are completely satisfied with it's performance although the price at Euro 999 was high!
