George Bourne is fantastic. Took 8 other dentists, including 2 specialists, to find the one who could do what I wanted and after a careful two hour consultation George Bourne said he could put in permanent top teeth. The treatment was completed four years ago and there have been no problems with the teeth. People said I looked ten years younger afterwards. On my check up this year a small problem was discussed and I got a detailed follow up letter explaining the problem and the options to treat it. So if you are fed up with being told things can’t be done go see Mr Bourne at Dental on the Banks. All the staff are lovely and it makes going to the dentist pleasant.

I had composite bonding done at Dental on the Banks and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results! The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. The team made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout, and the care and attention to detail were amazing.

My teeth look incredible, and I’m so pleased with how natural the results are. I can’t thank the team enough for giving me the confidence to smile even more. I would highly recommend Dental on the Banks to anyone considering composite bonding! 😊

Honestly couldn’t recommend Dental on the Banks enough! I’ve recently finished my clear aligner treatment with Dr Ramtin and I’m so happy with the results.

The whole experience has been amazing from start to finish. Booking my initial consultation was really easy and from the moment I walked in everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The consultation with Dr Ramtin was really thorough, he took his time explaining everything properly and I never felt rushed or pressured into anything.

Dr Ramtin and the rest of the clinical team have been absolutely lovely throughout the whole process. Everyone is so professional but also really friendly and they genuinely make you feel comfortable and looked after. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

And most importantly, the final results have been incredible! My teeth look better than I ever expected and I honestly wish I’d done it sooner.

I used to visit an NHS dentist but since I registered with Dental on the Banks I would not go anywhere else.
The whole experience from when you first enter to the end of the appointment is wonderful.

My Invisalign treatment journey started a year ago and is nearly complete. I am now in the very capable hands of Dr.John who installs much confidence through his high level of expertise and personable, professional manner. The whole experience to date has been 1st class.

Updated Review (Oct 2026). I have been a patient of DOTB for over 5 years now, and cannot praise them highly enough. I became a patient during lockdown, initially after enquiring about teeth whitening. Since then, I have become an established patient, receiving both regular hygienist appointments and annual dental check ups. Both my dentist (Dr George) and hygienist are professional and gentle in their approach, showing genuine concern for any issues and interest in me as a patient. Most recently I have unfortunately needed to have a crown fitted on a rear tooth, and this has been handled expertly and without any fuss or trauma. All staff I have come into contact with at the practice are polite, courteous, friendly and professional, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Friendly reception staff and a pleasant practice. I attended in 2025 for a panoramic X-ray and consultation regarding cosmetic treatment options.

The examination was thorough and all staff were polite and professional.

However, I left feeling that the consultation did not provide the guidance I was hoping for regarding my cosmetic concerns and ongoing issues with a back tooth.

I was advised to return to my existing dentist, and ultimately I chose not to continue treatment at this practice.

While my experience may differ from others, it was not the right fit for my particular needs

Thank you to the whole team at Dental on the Banks for your expertise, patience and kindness for my 2.5 years of orthodontic treatment. As an older patient, I knew my teeth and bite were a challenge when my dentist told me there was only one practice who could resolve this. As a Londoner I was happy to go to Branksome, and I cannot believe the change in my smile. Thank you to Dr Ramtin Taheri, Dr Damon Taheri, Dr George Bourne and to Paula for persevering with me. It worked! I am very happy and grateful to the best team in orthodontics who are Dental on the Banks.

Having an Invisalign at 56 seemed a little too much too late. Honestly it really has made a difference. The staff have been very welcoming and assuring throughout the process. Coming out of this my teeth are perfectly straight for the first time in my life. Totally worth it and Im getting comments on how good they look.

I have been a patience at DOTB since 2021 and have had Invisalign and other dental treatments which have all been brilliantly done with the utmost care. My last app was the final Invisalign app which has been a great experience all the way through.

I left my recent Invisalign consultation feeling somewhat disappointed. Unfortunately, I didn’t experience the warm, genuine and welcoming approach I had hoped for from the team. Some of the interactions felt a little insincere, particularly with the member of staff who handles the Invisalign consultations.

I was also disappointed with the orthodontist’s involvement. They only spent a couple of minutes in the room, briefly examined my teeth and offered a very quick recommendation before leaving. Given that orthodontic treatment is a significant investment, I would have expected a more thorough assessment, a clearer explanation of the proposed treatment and more time to discuss my options.

Furthermore, I felt that the cost of the treatment was particularly high, especially considering the overall experience and level of consultation I received.

Overall, I didn’t leave feeling particularly reassured or confident about proceeding with treatment. I think a more personal, genuine and thorough approach would have made a considerable difference to my experience.

Having made the decision to address my dental issues, the team at Dental on the Banks have been nothing short of amazing.
From the very first appointment they showed true care and understanding.
Being a little dentist phobic, I felt reassured and comfortable through each appointment.
I am now mid way through my treatment having opted for quite a significant transformation. Implants and crowns accompanied by the preparatory surgery all completed with care and understanding.
I’m not afraid to say the results so far made me cry with joy!
My confidence has returned and I cannot wait for my next appointment to have my implants fitted.
