While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

It's a phishing site

When you attempt to download a file a captcha is required. You clicks to open up a tab to answer the captcha but this is what happens:

Norton blocks this malicious site which prevents downloads.

I've complained for months but to no avail.

Stay Away - Now with MALICIOUS Attacks on Your PC

DepositFiles WAS a decent cyberlocker. No more. I always thought they were good, especially for a Russia-based operation, otherwise a den of thieves and scam artists.

Well, now DF is no better than the others. Your computer will be attacked even if you try an innocent 'free' download. They do things I've never even seen before: today I clicked on a favorite in Internet Explorer and it not only redirected from depositfiles.com to a malicious site, it CHANGED THE URL of the favorite, overwriting the original!

Stay way away from these guys. In recent months, they have totally changed - for the worse.
