This is an absolutely fantastic service. We have been back and forth with my child’s skin condition for over two months now, and were starting to feel as if we had run out of options with our GP. My child was also becoming self- conscious about their skin condition. I was initially hesitant to use an online service, but was reassured by the good reviews. The service was great and the prescription came through really quickly, with some good advice. We checked with our doctor first and she seemed to think it was a good idea and trusted the new prescription plan that the dermatologist had recommended. Five days later and the results are really impressive. It’s genuinely the best £75 I’ve spent in a long time.

As an aside, which is no reflection on the service, we couldn’t get one of the creams in a large enough size at our local chemist. I’d suggest maybe ring your pharmacist first, as they won’t split a prescription and we didn’t want to wait for them to order the cream in. When we got everything needed, the improvement was really fast.

Was very concerned about the treatment I was prescribed for Actinic Keratoses by my GP. I e-mailed Dermatologist.co.uk and within 48 hours received a reply outlining a different treatment which would not leave me looking like I had just finished a boxing match - alongside a private prescription which could be filled online. I have yet to start the treatment but I am really impressed by the quick response and the email detailing how and what I should and should not do. Once I have finished the treatment I will update - but so far I am really impressed.

Diagnosed condition but did not share a reason as to if the rash was a reaction to a certain medication that I supplied the name of.

Quick speedy and value for money compared to normal consultation prices for private services .

Dr Ashworth provides an excellent service at an affordable price. A straightforward consultation process on line with pics provided a comprehensive diagnoses and treatment plan, clearing my daughters inflamed skin condition in just two days. I highly recommmebd this service… 10/10!

After suffering for years and being told by my GP that there wasn’t anything else they could do I thought that I’d try the Dermatologist.co.uk. Within 2 days I’ve been given a detailed report and a prescription to treat my condition. Absolutely fantastic! Can’t recommend Dr John Ashworth highly enough!

This service is exceptional. Been suffering with my skin around my eyes for months and when I could get into my Dr’s they recommended something that made it much worse. Then I couldn’t get back in to see them. So for the second time I used this site. Very easy to use, very thorough report and I even managed to pick up the prescription whilst on holiday in Skye. I do not hesitate in recommending. Also the recommendations have improved things so much in the first two weeks I am no longer wearing dark glasses and baseball caps all day!! Thank you

I've been desperate to see a dermatologist for years now, and after struggling with an overburdened NHS, I decided to seek help privately. The online consultation with Dr Ashworth was simple and straightforward, with a comprehensive report and prescription received much more quickly than I expected. I took the report to my GP, who agreed to offer me the medicine suggested by Dr Ashworth via the NHS. A great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We made contact with John after almost 2 years of very little success with our GP regarding our sons skin condition.
His diagnosis was prompt and precise, and the prescribed treatment plan worked within 10 days.

Great service - the doctor responded to me promptly and with a detailed diagnosis and treatment plan.

I was recommended by a friend, the service was very speedy and the advice very good for someone that wanted a prescription without visiting your GP, which is what I wanted. John did provide a prescription and a diagnosis, but he suggested I involve my GP, which I have. I visited my GP, though I didn’t see a doctor, which is often the case these days but the guy was a paramedic who couldn’t dispense prescriptions but had to email a doctor🤔 I don’t know where she was based but I had already decided that I wanted some blood tests done to rule out certain conditions that may be causing my itching dry skin, I’m having them done next week. I also have prescription for some cream for my eyes which have be allergic for a few months. John did offer me the choice of visiting his clinic but I will try to do a little more detective work first, as he suggested.

Extremely quick and easy service. It’s reassuring to be able to get access to such an experienced consultant for such a reasonable price.
The only (very slight) negative comment I would make is that uploading photos but limiting the quality to 5MB is a bit messy. That said I would have no hesitation whatsoever in using and recommending this service, thank you!
