Great customer service, polite and kindness!

Terrible.

Site says over £40 purchase the postage will be free.

But then it isn’t -

Raised it three time separate for three separate but no joy.

This should be reported to consumer forums

The service was excellent. Goods ordered securely packed and delivered. Reason 4 stars instead of 5 is some items I required were out of stock whereas other retailers (your competitors) had these items in stock

I recently tried Desi Cart for the first time. The range of products is fantastic. I opted for standard delivery, and my order arrived on time and well-packaged. No damaged items, and the perishables were still cool. I would highly recommend it for quality, convenience, and a genuinely enjoyable shopping experience. Will definitely be ordering again!

Good delivery on time

I’ve had mixed experiences with Desicart. The fresh Indian vegetables and plantains I ordered were excellent and well-packed. However, the delivery has been problematic. On two occasions, the Shana frozen chappatis arrived 30 hours late and defrosted, resulting in wasted food. While the company offers a good variety of products and generally quick dispatch, they need to improve their delivery methods to ensure frozen items arrive in good condition. Overall, it’s a decent service with room for improvement.

Great seller. Contacted me and arranged for a equally high quality alternative brand of tinned Jackfruit when the one I wanted wasn't in stock. Fast delivery with a good courier (DHL). No complaints. Friendly and efficient.

The delivery is always delayed and despite several instructions they always deliver at the concierge knowing there are perishables.

I ordered rice from them, they sent me a bag of worms. Have sent them all the pics but they’ve refused to refund or take their worms back. Save your money and do not order from them, much better websites available for online deliveries.

Response to your pathetic reply: If the order has delivery date of 15 October and it is not 15 November yet (6 November as of today), how is that a “FULL MONTH”??? And I have posted this review after wasting time waiting for your replies on your customer care channel. Also, there is not “A WORM” in the bag, there are multiple worms, as in the bag is full of worms. I sent you several pics and videos to show all the moving worms. Imagine the disgust! Stop passing over accountability and defrauding people of their money. The quality of the rice is even more questionable as customers don’t sit at home to plant worms in the products you’re sending.

But also ordered Shana frozen chappatis. Delivery was 30 hours late and chappatis were defrosted and had to be thrown away because you cannot refreeze . Such a pity but the company needs to change its delivery methods . This has now happened twice .
Such a waste of good food .
