The company was great from start to finish kept us informed all the way and nothing was to much trouble, the fitters were polite and tidy 5 star service from start to finish

I received 3 quotations and DES was the most comprehensive. The assistance given by their representative, Nicky, was excellent and she dealt with all my questions in a very professional and friendly manner. I was kept up to date with all the required paperwork at all stages. The installation team arrived on time and although the weather was terrible completed all the work in one day and in a positive manner. Advised how the system worked before departing. Very impressed. Very pleased with DES and although not the cheapest would recommend them without hesitation.

Really great experience, didn’t matter how many questions I had they were handle with consideration throughout the process. The fitters were brilliant as well, very friendly and most importantly neat and tidy. Couldn’t be happier

I had an initial phone call with Richard who explained everything I needed to know in an informative way without any sales pressure, which allowed me to choose the best system for me with a follow up site visit. The whole installation went very well as planned with only 1 ½ days to install 16 panels with an inverter and Battery. Very pleased with work and the system installed.

From the first meeting with the adviser, the whole experience of purchasing the solar panel system has been a pleasant and efficient experience.

I spent a lot of time researching solar companies before choosing DES for the job. Several installers did either not reply to initial or follow up enquiries, or quoted for too many panels. DES were very responsive and gave honest advice. I also wanted Eurener panels, which DES supplied, and they recommended FOX for the inverter and batteries. As a local company, not national, that I felt would offer longer term support if needed. Darren dealt with my enquiry and answered all my many questions without complaint. Come the time for installation, the scaffolders and roofers were prompt and efficient, and the electrician was polite, neat and tidy, and informative. I would not hesitate to recommend DES for a PV installation.

Good planner(Darren) not so good after sales service but after some reminders my issues were sorted out . Overall my experience with DES has been good and Darren especially sorts things out even at the weekend.

DES were absolutely fantastic with my solar and battery installation. From sales, survey, installation and now technical support they've been spot on. I would say I have been a bit needy but they have been able to assist fully and explain things brilliantly.

We stumbled upon DES whilst researching installers of solar systems and they then made initial contact. After a call to establish what we were looking for and the type/layout of our property, two different systems were quoted for and, based on the information provided and the good reviews, we chose DES to install one of them comprising of 14 panels and a battery. Any queries that I had were answered quickly and a physical survey (after the initial Google Earth one) was arranged. This confirmed that all was well for the install and we discussed where to mount the invertor, battery etc with the surveyor.
There then followed a gap when permissions etc were obtained etc. before we were given a fitting date. The dates were confirmed the week before and agreed.
The scaffolders (sub-contracted) did not arrive when agreed and I contacted the DES office half way through the day. They got back promptly and gave a delay reason obtained from the scaffolders and arranged for them to arrive the next morning (Sat). The scaffolding was erected efficiently and the 'roofer' from DES arrived the following Tuesday to start the roof install. He managed to fit all of the framework for the panels but stated that it was too windy for him to fit the panels on his own so he, and a colleague, would return the next day to fit them. The following day the electrician arrived as planned but the roofer did not. The electrician established that the roofers were not in fact coming until the following day so he would do what he could and would also return the next day to finish off.
On the third day the electrician arrived as planned but the roofers were absent until mid-afternoon (by which time the electrician had run out of jobs that he could do). The roofers spent a short amount of time fitting the solar panels and disappeared again to another job. The electrician was then able to finish off and carry out a system handover before leaving.
Finally the scaffolders returned a couple of days later, a bit later in the day than expected, and took down the scaffolding.
I am left with a neatly-installed and efficient solar set-up, as planned, that I am happy with and the process was relatively smooth. I am still awaiting the necessary paperwork to arrange a feed-in tariff from my supplier ( which I understand is delayed by the power supplier in my area) before it is fully commissioned.
The office staff, Darren, Andy, Brenda etc., Surveyor, Alex, electrician, Matt, were all very helpful and efficient and the roofers worked hard and efficiently but the timekeeping/communication (possibly due to too much work taken on) could have been better.
Taking the above into consideration I would recommend DES, although not the cheapest, for the general installation and products used.

Our solar panel and battery installation was completed two and a half months ago. We had previously been put off installing panels by sales force led companies. DES Renewables have provided an excellent service throughout. We met the company for the first time at a local show. The initial site visit to explain and sight the system, and to talk through the installation process, was calm and measured, with no attempt made to force us to commit. We received a detailed and informative proposal upon which to base our decision; the payment plan was simple and logical. Once we had accepted the quote, a further visit took place to sight the internal and external elements in detail. The scaffolders, roofer and electrician all attended as planned and were polite, efficient and tidy. Any questions we have had since the system was commissioned have been answered promptly and efficiently. My wife and I are very happy to recommend DES Renewables to those planning to install a solar energy system.

DES made the whole process of installing the solar panels at my home relatively straightforward and painless. I was not too knowledgeable as to how they worked in detail, but DES took the time to explain the process to me and answered any questions that I had.
The installation process was completed within the stated timeframe and the only issue was with the third-party scaffolders. However, DES worked very hard to resolve the issues, with minimal impact to myself. I also found the installers to be very friendly and carried out the work to a very professional level.
I have had the system in place for just over a month and it is working very well, with no issues.
I would have no hesitation with recommending DES to install solar panels.

DES Renewables arranged all the necessary technical requirements and relevant approvals required to proceed with the application for fitting the solar panels battery and inverter. The installation of the Solar panels battery and inverter was professionally installed and within the agreed timescale. The team involved with the installation were all very nice and helpful.

The Sales team patiently went through several options of capacity, make, storage capability before I settled on an installation larger than initially suggested.
