We went to the DXL in Tulsa, OK an Connie told me they had nothing for my boys in there. That they were to small as we walked in the door! Did not even ask what she could help us with. One wears a 2XLT an the other XLT. We went to Dillards an they were happy to help us find what we needed.

My experience at the DXL store in Raleigh North Carolina was the best once I walked in it was like they cared about what I was looking for and also gave me tips and help me mix and match.
Especially one of your employees by the name Teresa she was o so excellent she helped me and guided me to the right stuff and I do thank her

I purchased clothes from this store totaling approximately $390.00 and after returning home, decided to return a few items. Unfortunately I could not find the receipt, however I saw that store credit was an option. I returned to the store where they proceeded to put my store credit on a gift card, then they said they were transferring the gift card balance to my debit card. They had me put my card in the chip reader and sign some receipts. Days later, my money has still not been refunded to my account. Now I have no product, no gift card, and no refund. This is absolutely ridiculous! Where is my money?!?

My husband ordered shirts online and they shipped to us. He chose to use paypal since it is more secure than using a card. The shirts do not fit. I tried to return to the local DXL today. The rep had no clue how to return and said she would need the physical card to credit. She was initially confused that I brought an online order in. She called someone and the order was pulled up. She advised that he paid via paypal. She said I could not return there since they do not accept paypal at the store. I tried to discuss with her and it didn't seem like she understood what paypal was. I explained that I just returned something to a store a few doors down with the same payment method and they returned and credited the paypal account. I will not pay shipping or be charged to return this order. Unacceptable in todays technology. If you cant return a paypal account in store don't offer it as a payment method. ** Also educate your associates. I don't warm and fuzzy with how today went down. Your product is way overpriced to begin with.
I appreciate your reply but it’s still unacceptable. Your paperwork says clearly that I will be charged 7.50 for the return. This better be credited and not charged. So ridiculous.

I desire dress collard shirts whereby you can wear a tie bar. I've repeatedly asked for these but they don't listen, here in Greenwood, IN. Their shirts have collars that are too far apart that prevents wearing a tie bar.

I had a extremely positive experience at your Clearwater, Fl store. Richard was extremely attentive and assisted me in my shopping needs, I'm not a shopper but he made the experience a positive one. Richard was knowledgeable and with is guidance, I was in and out in a timely manner.

I visited store number 09415 and associate with ID number 098216 completed the transaction. I say Completed because in no way did she assist or help me.
I understand short staffing due to Covid so I was willing to overlook the wait time, BUT she did not respond when I said good morning and that set the tone for the rest of our interaction.
I was there to return a pair of shoes my husband had bought a few weeks prior but purchased another pair that worked better for him. He NEVER wore them. They sat in the back seat of my car in the DXL bag since purchase. The same night he purchased those he went to a different store and bought an entire outfit including shoes, so he had no use for these but being a typical man he left it for me to handle.
She looked at both shoe bottoms and saw some tiny scuff on one and insisted he wore them. I explained why he hadn’t and she rolled her eyes. Since I didn't have his card she put it on a gift card and made even that seem like a chore.
As I was placing the receipt in my bag she moved to a different register to assist another person and said, loudly, “tell Karl not to return his used shoes next time. I won’t Accept them.”
How dare she address anyone by their first name as if she knows us?! Even my 9yr old daughter said “mom that lady was really rude”
I will Never return to this store and neither will my husband after he learned of my experience. This is completely unacceptable and uncalled for. I would never return used items, especially in the middle of a pandemic, but even in normal times I would never do that.
She was unprofessional and rude.

Visited their website out of curiosity and got signed up to their email spam list (not sure how they got my email... probably from some malicious google integration?) From here clicking unsubscribe doesn't remove me from their list so I continue to get spam. I have now set a rule to move it along but still a bad experience.

I received 2 pairs of HB khakis as a result of a terrible store experience, so I purchased 2 more pair online. The seam on one pair on the left leg is sown way off to the right so that the crease ends ups on the right side of my leg. This is ridiculous. Never in my 70 years have I experienced anything close to this. I just trashed. Update: Customer Service requested I return. I’m 70 years old and have been a customer of this store for probably 30 years. I’m got much better things to do that pack a pair of pants up and Uber to post office and back (I no longer can drive). I’m done ever doing business with your Company.

I have to be made to understand something. This Store is for Big and Tall, yet, they have No Suits beyond Regular, hardly any shoes beyond size 15, No dress shirts for Extra tall. The items you carry, one can find in Any store! Why label your store DXL Big And Tall? I find your store somewhat useless, and frustrating.

DXL is predatory for large men. They charge 25%-50% more, apples to apples (comparing 2XLT TO 2XLT same brand and products) than the retail mall stores near their store in Belden village, Canton ohio. I would only recommend this company as an absolute last resort. I received a coupon that expired 2 days after I received it, and was told casually by the lady who was working to look at the bottom in the fine print to see when it expired. She knows this happens all the time and it was apparent by her reaction that your company doesn't give a f u kc.

I placed an order for a couple of shirts, paid via PayPal, received my PayPal receipt showing the DXL purchase, but nothing from DXL. So a few days later, I wrote customer service asking where my shirts were. I also included my PayPal receipt which had the order on there showing which shirts, quantity and how much I paid. Here's their response,
"Thank you for your e-mail and shopping with us.
Searching our system, we do not have any recent orders for you. It appears that what happened is that the authorization processed with PayPal, but the order didn't process with us.
The authorization will come off of your PayPal account within 3-5 business days."
No offer to reorder, or any way to fulfill it for me.
I guess they didn't want to sell me clothes.

I wanted to exchange same day to 15. They did not have it. I returned it to DXL. They still charged me a return fee of $7.50 + ....

Ordered a pair of dark tan boat shoes in August. Wrong color was delivered. Unable to return for refund.
Shoes became available in September again, asked DXL Support twice to confirm they were the right color. Reordered, same wrong color delivered.
DXL mistake twice, they do not refund the original postage fee ($20) PLUS charge an additional $7.50 to return the shoes. Out of pocket nearly $20, twice.
Wouldnt recommend DXL, wouldnt buy from them again, wouldnt recvommend then, their fulfillment service is abysmal.

Mitchel at the Lenexa, KS location was amazing at helping me find the blazer I needed and would fit me best for my friends wedding. Being a plus size man, it’s so challenging finding the clothing that makes you comfortable. This place did just that!! Thanks so much DXL!
I just purchased a new pair of Khakis and dress shirt the khakis wast size was generous and fit like I expected. The legnth was not at all correct, I am a short guy and often just buy them long an tailor them, well these were picked for a specific event and were sized by waist an legnth and the legnth was so not right. I called to ask about exchange or refunding the order and was told that if I had removed the tags and washed them (which I had) they could not be returned. I'm disappointed, I usually have no issues with clothing bought here, but want you to know don't trust them if you need them to fit right off the rack. Pay for the tailor!
