Everything was good, the place is near most of Edinburghs landmarks, so it was really comfortable walking everywhere. The apartment is clean and nice.

helpful communications. responded quickly to requests. luggage storage before check in was particularly useful. property location good. property clean, roomy and well equipped. a couple of lamps in the living area would have improved the ambience and made it more cosey

Absolutely terrible service woman at the desk was nothing but cheeky because I had to be 21 to get in and I was 20 so my refund was 290 pounds and they never gave me it back for a month finally got it back of the bank because they didn't listen to me and then last week they have decided to take it back out my bank again now I can't get my money back. Avoid at all cost scammed

We had a wonderful stay. The apartments are so central and absolutely beautiful.

Stayed in the ground floor apartment in Hill St. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable with plenty of storage space, this flat is situated in the center of Edinburgh between two quiet streets which are easy to park in. The rooms are spacious and pleasantly decorated. There are plenty of shops and good restaurants close by.
Destiny Scotland have many holiday apartments in Edinburgh and I found them an efficient, helpful and professional company.

Bad customer service

We did make an advance booking so we were aware that we would not be able to cancel our reservation. However, we did expect that they would be able to help us move the reservation as we will unfortunately not be able to travel to Edinburgh at our intended date. We were willing to pay a charge for the move and the potential difference in price. But they just turned us down with no help at all.

We did expect better with the ratings of this company.

Our stay was extremely poor. The response was poor as we did contact to raise our concerns and were disregarded. We stayed for 5 days, I’m sure if they were interested in customers we could have been moved at some time during this stay- we noted that after 2 days we could have booked on line therefore vacancies existed but no one cared enough to contact us. minimal sleep 3 out of 5 days - not acceptable

AVOID IF YOU WANT A RESTFUL NIGHT SLEEP AND A CUSTOMER FOCUSED TEAM WHEN SOMETHING IS NOT QUITE RIGHT!

Dreadful stay at The Malt House Edinburgh a Destiny property. Adjoining apartments very noisy disturbing us throughout the night / into the morning.
I was told I should have reported the issues to them before the morning via the contact number apparently located on the back of the apartment’s front door!
I revived a generic email that I have later been informed was not generic even though instead of my name it’s says (Guests name) in the email.
I found the reservations manager to be uninterested and unprofessional when dealing with my complaint.
I would suggest thinking twice before using this company, payments are taken in advance of stay so in my experience no chance of being partially / fully reimbursement for a dreadful stay.
AVOID!

Absolutely first class accommodation at Edinburgh New Market, Thistle Street Apartments.
Apartment 10 on the 6th floor has absolute killer views. Apartment was clean, modern, close to everything and very comfortable.
Would highly recommend Destiny Scotland's apartments. The app was great and provided everything you needed to know about the Apartment and surroundings.
We will be back for sure.

VERY RUDE. I called Destiny Scotland and requested info regarding an apartment they have advertised with a gas hob, 6 chair dining table and sofas. I explained I require the space to host a specific number guests but no one will not be sleeping there. I requested to book the apartment that showed it was spacious enough to accomodate my guests and I was told they can not book a specific apartment for me as I will receive what is given to me upon arrival, and that this is based on number of beds only. I have never heard of an apartment rental company who advertises pictures of dining space and sitting room sace who then advises those pictures aren't relevant for one to choose an apartment they wish to book but instead they choose one and appoint it according to if you book a 2 or 3 bedroom?! I asked to speak to the manager - Her name was Mina. There was no point as she was more rude than the first sales person. It seemed as though they were friends and she was defending a friend rather than willingness to understand my complaint. I repeatedly asked her for the complaints policy and process to which she advised "the complaint will come to me I am the highestes person". I asked her who else I could write my complaint to and she refused to provide me this and ended the call as soon as I mentioned these calls are recorded.

Apartment well situated in Hanover street. Spotless inside, everything you need in the apartment. Very impressed. Close to lots of amenities. Will stay again

Heart of Edinburgh with easy walkable access to everything, quite a hike up to the room but well informed of that via tripadvisor and on the website, last minute change to a room higher up (earlier notification would have been helpful but preferred the view up there so worked out well), VERY clean, laundry facility on site was appreciated and invaluable, spacious, convenient for the train station and other amenities.

I spent four days in Edimburgh and I am happy to share this positive experience about Destiny Scotland. The apartment is big, well equipped, clean and located in a central but quiet area of the Old Town. We could reach most of the attractions on foot. The staff in the main office (Thistle street) is really supportive and kind.

Everything was perfect. Ordering on the website and communication up to arrival. The apartment was clean and tidy and contained everything we needed. No noise from the surroundings (we stayed on the 2nd floor), and easy access to the center of Edinburgh. A stay here is highly recommended.

Extraordinary kind and helpful staff who supported us, 6 family members - 3 generations. Our 2 apartments were perfectly equipped, very clean and surroundings quiet. We definately will use Destiny Scotland again.

This was our second visit to Q Residence on Queen Street and, again, we were not disappointed. It was perfect as a base for sightseeing by foot. There are so many cobbled side streets that you can find hidden gems on. Absolutely love coming here away from the hustle and bustle of Princes Street, and yet, you’re less than a 10 minute walk away. Still so much more to see than we had time for. Give it try, I don’t think you’d be disappointed !!

I always use Destiny Scotland when booking an apartment in Edinburgh. This latest booking was no exception. Our apartment was in immaculate condition and spotlessly clean. Destiny Scotland need to be congratulated on the excellent accommodation they provide. I will definitely continue to use this company. Well done Destiny Scotland.
