Problem resolution after a very long time (new management ? )
Dealing with this company has been a challenging and time-consuming experience right from Day 1. They had a unique Silver-backed stable coin that no one else had so I thought I would support them . Big Mistake . Big Waste of time and money. I wasted 3.5 years with this company going in circles. The first problems happened 3 years ago when i found it hard to read and use their interface which at the time had poor English and descriptions. I actually wasted many hours of my time for free helping them to clean it up .That part is better now but still there are glitches. There is some kind of 24 hour rep. but they don't know anything and can't answer any questions so they constantly stall you and promise management will get back to you. The management is anaemic and replies are hit and miss , inadequate or not all. They do not have the courtesy of a phone call or a discussion and they hide behind anonymous names. Since management has no live chat they are quite arrogant and do not put much love or thought into their replies. I have lost money had several issues with this company which quite frankly should and would have been avoidable .But nobody is in charge and nobody cares. 2. As a specific example right now , I purchased Silver Token with them 3.5 years ago. A specialty stable coin that still exists. That is not a good company either and i do not recommend . But you can still redeem the token directly with the token for the price of an ounce of a silver. Albeit the service is bad and slow there. But in this case, I had mistakenly stored the SLVT token with Dex-Trade for 3.5 years. BIG mistake. I started to have doubts 9 months ago so i wanted to liquidate all my tokens with Dextrade as trading was thin. The price to withdraw was about 0.5 SLVT for 3 years i think which worked out to $13 USd to withdraw. In any case, when i went to withdraw finally 9 months ago or so the fee had jumped WITHOUT warning to withdraw the token to 10 SLVT which worked out to about $240 USD . I could not believe my eyes. But the story gets worse. I begged them to let me withdraw it at the old rate. They gave me some nonsensical answer and did not work with me at all . They would not take the time to listen to me and understand that the originating company for the token was still backing the token's value. The Dex-Trade management gave me these weird one line answers and it was pretty much "case closed" without hearing me out or trying to understand the simple 'work around " i had to get it out. It would have been so easy. When i checked again in March 2024 , and complained again , they had raised the withdrawal fee to 13 SLVT or about $250 to $300 USD which effectively mean i could not withdraw my funds at all and that they were now permanently trapped. The front line customer service Mia always made excuses about not understanding my problem. and that management would listen to me and work with me to solve the problem . The frontline service is friendly but useless. Sure they will spend 2 hours with you but they don't know anything and have no authority to solve problems. Update November 20, 2024. There must be new management as they finally also dealt with a time-consuming complaint I made about missing funds in my account from 2.5 years ago for $83 USDT. Thank God for small mercies. 2. They also decided to allow me to withdraw my remaining SLVT for $15 US equivalent after complaining for a year about the exhorbitant $300 withdrawal fee. so I am raising their rating from one star to 3 stars. However I still do not like that their management never identify themselves when they contact you. For one thing, clearly different operators give better service than others. So it is important to know who you are dealing with. And also so you do not have to keep repeating the same story 10 times as i had to get the problem finally solved. It has been a long road !
