Post caps fabricated in 'galvanized and powder coated' steel were neither, just lightly spray painted. Costly return shipping may limit our options.

I should have read the reviews. Do not order from these folks, you WILL regret it. If you're here and reading these reviews you already know that, and you're smarter than I am.

I had a great experience with this company based mainly on the professional approach by Anthony Womer, a senior sales agent. Their prices are excellent, but sadly, the item I wanted was thwarted by Linkmaster, not DF SUPPLY. Based upon my dealings, I can absolutely recommend this company.

We had a very negative experience with DF Supply. Our company approved a quote with clear specifications (wire thickness and mesh size). However, the product delivered did not match the quote. Despite providing evidence, including measurements and correspondence, DF Supply refused to acknowledge the discrepancy and repeatedly responded with generic references to ASTM tolerance instead of addressing the core issue.

The sales manager, Jeff Cunningham, showed no real engagement in resolving the problem and ignored the fact that the delivered product did not correspond to their own quote. This caused serious issues with our client, damaged trust, and left us without a solution.

We cannot recommend DF Supply, Inc. due to poor accountability, lack of responsibility for mistakes, and unprofessional customer support.

I ordered slide rail mount bracket for vinyl fencing. The customer service attendant was very helpful on phone. The ordered arrived on time. The product received was exactly the same that was ordered. I would like to add that they should find a cheaper method of shipment.

These are the most incompetent people. If you have half a brain do not do business with these people. I ordered 2 control boards for two linear garage door openers in February 2025 . They told me the boards would be in my doorstep in a week . 3 months later with broken promise and excuse after excuse and the loss and shame from my customer DF supply gave me my money back and then treated me like I was the one who was the problem. These men that are Running DF supply are weak spirited and blame shifters. Do not do business with them.

Two months ago, I ordered supplies (parts) advertised in DF Supply's (DFS) Apollo product line website using the DFS/Apollo online purchasing tool. Two weeks later, DFS sent me incorrect parts. After going back-and-forth with DFS a couple of times, a month ago, the DFS Sales Consultant, E.Morrison, admitted the company's error, writing, "My apologies... We only carry the /A version. I have contacted the warehouse to get you a return label for your order. I will send it over ASAP." I've since written follow-up email messages to Mr. Morrison, asking for my refund and a label so that I may return the incorrect part, but have not received any responses from DFS. I do plan to take further action.

Beware of this business. They are full of it. I called them regarding my Nice Apollo Gate Opener 1500 single swing at my house and the issue was a delay when opening and closing the gate. Their sales rep told me I needed to buy a new control board. He sold me a control board for $511.55. I installed it and the problem persisted. Then he told me I needed to buy a new motor. He charged me $140.12 and when I received it I installed it and the problem persisted. I called him back and he said I needed to buy a new battery. I bought a new battery and the problem persisted. Finally I called the manufacturer and they suggested I hire a technician to troubleshoot it and run a complete diagnostics on the whole system. The technician told me I wasted my money on the new control board, the new motor, and the new battery. The real issue was in the arm. It was ready to retire and I needed to buy a new arm. I called DF Supply and expressed my frustration to them. I should have asked for a full refund of all the items I bought that I didn’t need. Their guesses and their diagnosis were as primitive as a diagnosis from a Middle Schooler. I told them I won’t ask for a full refund but asked them to give me a discount on the arm to makeup for their wrong diagnosis and the guesswork that cost me lots og money. They said no and asked me to pay full price of the arm for $1,089.04. I was furious and promised myself to spread the word about this Mickey Mouse business that is there to rip us off and take advantage of us. I don’t know how these people go to sleep at night with that type of conscience. Shame on them but I will blast this review all over social media to spread the word and make people aware. SO BEWARE PEOPLE OF THIS BUSINESS BEFORE YOU GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!!

Ordered large quantity of chain-link fence parts spring of 2024. Only to find out that a good percentage of the tension bands, brace bands and fence ties are made with inferior springy type metal that make them unusable, (at least in the batches that I received in this order). Also, the 2 inch post caps many times crack when placed on the post making them unusable and the nuts for the bolts will not fit into a half inch socket as standard fence nuts and bolts do and they do not fit correctly into a 9/16 socket apparently they are metric but don’t correctly fit into a 14 mm either? Makes your work much more difficult when not working with good (standard) nuts and bolts that are 1/2 inch when you’re installing hundreds of these in a days work.

Tried to work with DF Supply on a refund they said they would waive the restock fee however not the return postage fee which I would have to pay, (when you’re sending heavy materials such as these the return postage is not cheap). Unfair due to the fact that these are inferior parts and or unusable. From my understanding in talking to DF Supply these parts are not made here in the states but made in another country which explains why they may be an inferior metal. Beware of purchasing these parts as you will find that many of them are unusable.

Notified DF Supply that I’m not going to continue to fight for return shipping I’m just going to write it off as a bad experience and leave a poor review on the quality of their materials. You may want to keep this in mind if you’re ordering materials.

I returned a damaged Nice actuator Model: 816-1, and after 6 WEEKS have still not received a refund! See for yourself on the Google reviews, where I've provided screenshots of my correspondence with Jim Smallridge, Senior Sales Consultant for DF Supply Inc. Learn from my mistakes and avoid doing business with this company. It should never come to this but I have patiently waited on my refund for 6 weeks now. That's completely unacceptable as I'm sure anyone can agree.

Advertising and information on parts meant to work with an Apollo automatic gate system were misleading. Purchased parts from "Nice Apollo Gate Openers" which is listed in their email as part of the DF Supply, Inc family. Poor customer service, part purchased does not integrate with current Apollo system. Return policy is shady, 30 days only whether or not the equipment is new in box or not. Company doesn't stand behind equipment or accept responsibility for inaccurate information. Do not buy from them!

Edit: The reason the company cannot find the order is because the order was made under a different email than this review was. I called the company 1-800 number directly and was informed by the person who handles our account that no exception could be made for the return window. Also, nothing to address the fact that the advertising for the product and information was not accurate. The suggestion from the sales representative was to resell the item on eBay.

I FIRST SPOKE WITH JOSHUA BACK IN EARLY JANUARY. I WAS LOOKING FOR SOME ODD BALL SIZE HINGES AND FITTINGS, I MENTIONED TO HIM THAT I HAD QUOTES FROM OTHER COMPANIES THAT OUR COMPANY HAS BEEN DEALING WITH FOR YEARS. HE THEN GAVE ME A INDUSTRY LESSON FREE OF CHARGE, LOL!. I WAS ABLE TO SAVE LOTS BY ELIMINATING A MIDDLEMAN. WE ARE A LARGE FENCE COMPANY IN THE SOUTHWEST AREA, WITH PLENTY OF BUYING POWER. I USE DF FOR CANTILEVER GATE WHEELS WHENEVER I NEED THEM. I CALLED EARLIER TODAY AND COULD NOT REACH JOSHUA, I LEFT A VM FOR HIM. IN THE MEAN TIME I SPOKE WITH ANOTHER SALES REP, AND I FELT THAT THE GUY WAS NOT VERY INTERESTED IN PROVIDING INFORMATION THAT NEEDED. I BASICALLY JUST SAID FORGET. I STARTED LOOKING FOR ANOTHER COMPANY TO PURCHASE FROM WHEN MY PHONE RANG AND IT WAS JOSHUA RETURNING MY VM. I EXPLAINED TO HIM MY FRUSTRATION AND MY NEEDS. WITHIN HALF AN HOUR HE GOT WHAT I NEEDED, WE SIGNED THE DEAL AND HE MADE AN $1,800.00 SALE, JUST LIKE THAT! THANK YOU JOSHUA.

I dealt with several members of the DF Supply team in our purchase. Josh was on point and explained everything clearly. He was prompt with answers and the shipment, once we decided on what we needed. We have purchased again and will continue to use them.

They sent me the wrong parts and do not feel responsible for it and ignoring my messages. Stay away.

Have had a very good experience with Erik and DF Supply to date.
The fact that they look after the shipping makes things a whole lot easier from my side(Ireland)

Ordered a gate intercom box with video from Eric, have had nothing but trouble, was told by Eric that sales manager would call. Surprise no call 2 and half months later still not working. Now for the best part I would like to return it sorry no refunds on electric parts said call AES. Warning do not buy anything from them.

Rip Off. They changed my order to parts that don’t work and now there going to charge me more money to return them. I tried many times to call and only get a machine. I sent them the original order showing the change they made, but they don’t care. I lost $594 plus shipping

Ordered several fencing items - could not be more satisfied. Pricing, service and delivery - perfect.
Initially I ordered from another vendor and got the run around for 4 weeks. Called DFSupply and received exactly what I needed in less than a week.
I am very pleased

I had a horrible experience and after 28 weeks i got a refund. They shipped heavy brackets in a box as thick as paper sack. During delivery several items ripped box and fell out, when i advised df supply i had missing items they told me warehouse had correct weight would not accept claim. I showed them hd pics of boxes being unloaded and the huge holes so they finally said they would send replacements and told me 12 weeks. 14 weeks later i ask for update and told 12 weeks. After 28 weeks total i still did not have parts but saw df supply selling them on ebay for double the price i had purchased. Rather than honoring sale they will put you in an invisible waiting list that does not get filled.
