Lovely staff and we definitely look forward to working with them again!

Firstly I have to say that I have used Diamond Group Events previously and have received a fantastic service. However I am writing this review due to the severe lack of communication in rebooking a disco that I had paid £185.00 in advance for a surprise birthday party for my husband back in 2015. Although the DJ was paid for in advance, unfortunately my father passed away, a week before the party, and I did not feel that a celebration would be appropriate. Now although there were no terms and conditions in the electronic signature form regarding cancellations etc., Paul stated that I could use the ‘credit’ to use for any future bookings.
Now I have tried on various occasions to book a DJ (but how many times do you actually need a DJ in a year or two) to rearrange this, only to be told that they are always busy. So recently after Facebook contact I asked for the possibility of using that £185.00 for something else, i.e. letters or backdrops etc. for a wedding, knowing that I would have to put extra money. However, I only received one call back, and although I was driving we mutually agreed that Paul would call me back, which never happened.
I am saddened that it is nearly two years and I have not been able to rebook the DJ, or use the credit for something else. I paid in good faith £185.00 upfront for a party that due to horrible circumstances did not go ahead. I am also saddened that as there were no terms and conditions attached with cancellations that the money (apart from the £35.00 deposit) was not refunded back to me.
I have left this long enough to write a review, to give Diamond Group Events ample time to contact me but I’ve now had enough. The review is to be used how you see fit, book them if you want, as a said previously they were great, but the customer service I have personally received has been shocking.

Me and my husband got married last December, and we were looking for a DJ for the wedding. Diamond Group Events was the first people we spoke to and they were friendly on the phone and explained the services they provided, not only did they provide us with a DJ for the day, they also helped us setting up this amazing white flittered lights dance floor, and a professional photographer.

On the day of the wedding, the DJ and photographer arrived before we even did at the venue, and the rest was history! The music was perfect, the first dance was just as romantic as we hoped for. Only if we could get married again, we would pick these guys no doubt!
