Got charged for trips that drivers didn’t accept. Never got a refund. This company isn’t trustworthy, and i wouldn’t recommend it less.
As a driver I am very disappointed, DiDi does not accept Driving License Renewal document, I have to wait for a new driver's license to be able to drive again. In addition, their operators lied to me... See more

I suggest anyone using DiDi have a backup transportation plan!!
I suggest anyone using DiDi have a backup transportation plan. I downloaded the DiDi app to get around in Mexico City. Used it twice (paying cash) and on the second trip the driver simply entered that I had not paid for the trip, which was definitely not the case, and requested a second payment. The app wouldn't let schedule another ride until I paid, end of story. Deleted the DiDi app, requested an Uber, paid 20 pesos more and all was well...
I was wrongly charged with a spill…
I was wrongly charged with a spill complaint and I cannot reach the app. There is no customer support. They deduct cleaning amount without giving me any evidence. There is no response for my mail. The most irresponsible experience of my life. The app is not at all user friendly.
DiDi Cancelled constantly
We booked 3 cars one after another as they continued to cancel when we travelled from Adelaide airport to the city. Was waiting over 1.5hrs in the cold with children. When the 3rd car finally arrived he had double booked. Ended up catching a cab was only $6 more.
Didi Driver scam
Was just charged a$150 cleaning fee from a ride a week ago. We did not leave any mess or damage this vehicle in any way. It was 6am and we were travelling from our hotel to the airport in Melbourne. This is a total scam by either Didi or the driver Ali (registration 1RU7WU). Didi just charged us with no investigation, no proof, and makes it very difficult to contact them to discuss.
Driver did not pick me up but still charged
Driver did not pick me up, charged me, and no rectification at all from Didi. Has been a week and still no response from them. I didn't cancel or anything like that, they just did not pick up, but I was still charged.
Don't bother, go with another reputable company.
Terrible experience with Didi Driver and poor support.
So I book a ride and driver doesn't turn up. For 2 hrs. Puts me on waiting for the time because he doesn't want to cancel the ride. Then he shows he has picked me up and charges me for the ride!
There is no customer service number that you can use
A defunct email for support.
And lousy help options.
Last time am using Didi
Saroj was my DIDI Driver from Nepal
Saroj was my DIDI Driver from Nepal. I really enjoyed his professionalism, his willingness to have a heartfelt conversation with me. I respected the fact, he shared his migration story with me, as I did share mine with him as well. It was an awesome drive home coming off a Jetstar flight JQ507 that was an awesome experience as well. Thank you Saroj for being awesome. Appreciate your service brother, 💯 thank you.
WORST APP EVER
the support is slow at reply and drivers are so mean and scammers. They refuse to take a visa trip after they accept it and demand to take it in cash and when I refuse they start a fight with me and when I give them cash and ask support to refund me. the support take AGES to reply let alone solve it. it happened 3 times and I will no longer use this app.
By far the worst ride share company…
By far the worst ride share company after Ola. I've had some horrible experiences from rude and disrespectful drivers to drivers making propositions. Each time, Didi has done nothing. Yesterday was the final straw when I was yelled at by a driver because HE drove past me and went to the wrong address.
Severe security issues
My email address was hacked and I get constant alerts of rides I've completed in Costa Rica when I live in the UK. I cannot change this as I don't have the phone number used to access the account. The help line would not help me and gave me an email address in Costa Rica that doesn't work. Severe problems if they don't require email verification and you cannot even contact their help services to have it removed.
I was charged 60% higher than agreed!
I was taking a ride, that was supposed to be 40 AUD. I was charged after I exited the car 64.5 AUD, which is 60% higher! This is totally unacceptable, I can understand that the price may differ 5-10%, but paying 60% higher that agreed is a complete scam! Should I knew that they will charge me this much, I would have never accepted it, as regular taxis usually drive that route for 50AUD. Stay away from them!
AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I received a receipt that someone else is trying to use my email address and immediately sent them an email to delete the account. I mentioned that I NEVER HEARD nor USED this app ONLY to receive a response to LOGIN TO MY ACCOUNT TO DELETE IT??? I explained again and then they told me where I am from so they can assist me when I already mentioned it on my initial email. THEY JUST DONT WANT to help AT ALL!! It's a matter of urgency involving security AND data protection! DO NOT TRUST THIS APP!!!
Disappointment on multiple fronts. Didi would rather skin the customer than fleece them.
I wanted to try out Didi to compare how it is against Uber. I was disappointment on multiple fronts. It wasn't one big thing, but a lot of little problems which added up to a poor experience. First off, their estimation of the fair was quite off. They estimated $38 for the trip, it was $42 (OK, $4 off, not a big problem). Then, there was an extra $2.50 surprise charge they didn't tell me about. What really annoyed me was the driver intentionally avoided the freeway to save him self a few bucks. The result was it took 40 minutes to get to my destination when it should of been 30 minutes. I contacted Didi support to see if they wanted a chance to say or do something about my poor experience, never heard back from them.
Invalid cancellation fees
I requested a ride in Jun and one in Jul where no driver accepted. In my trip history it states that the driver did not accept. BUT I was charged cancellation fees for both. Last night these trips disappeared and I thought after all the in app cocerns that I lodged, they finally removed them. Booked a 38 peso fare to take my friend home. He paid 40 pesos. Then I get emails today that they tacked on the 2 invalid cancellations to his ride and now saying that I owe them! Insane. No more Didi for us!!

Someone used my email to register their fake profile and I have no way of recovering the account so they don't use it with my email. As much as I have tried to communicate with them there is no way to do it, neither by email nor by phone from the USA. They also do not respond via WhatsApp and their help emails are disabled. Be careful using this App because your personal data is not safe.
Overcharged but not justified
I'm a frequent customer of DiDi in Merida, Mexico. But if their level of service continues, I may return to their competitor.
Yesterday I complained because the driver overcharged me about 50%. I reported it but got a stock answer from the company that it was a valid charge due to traffic etc. The ride was at 10:00 p.m. with no traffic. But they tell me the matter is closed so I have no way to contest the decision. Really surprising they put no value on their customer base. They do have good competition here in Merida.
It was supposed to be my first ride…
It was supposed to be my first ride with DiDi. Disaster.
Had to wait for a long time outside in the wind because the driver took the wrong route to pick me up. When he was almost close he cancelled the ride. This happens, I thought and took Uber instead. When Uber was approaching, I found out that the DiDi app replaced the cancelled ride with another one without asking me. Now I had to cancel the ride, and the app said cancellation fee was $7. Seriously?
I wouldn't recommend it.
Beware of Didi ride sharing fraudulent charges
Beware of Didi ride sharing, DidiGlobal and any Didi product.
My account was used fraudulently, over 3 days, AUD$400 was billed to my credit card.
Didi did nothing to reverse the fraud. They didn't ask for evidence. All they did was tell me there is a number to call. The number does not work, disconnected! :-(
Here is their response when I reported it...
