I’ve had a 2010 Super J 5-string for about 10 years, and it plays and sounds magnificent!

I purchased a DRoc standard in April of ‘22. The neck was an absolute disaster but despite the lack of playability it had a good sound. I reached out in February’23 to try to purchase a Super J but they wouldn’t return my emails.

My journey with Dingwall goes back to the early 2000's At the time I had bought and sold quite a few basses and was still looking for my sound. While on holiday in Florida I rented a car and drove to Bass Central knowing they had pretty much every bass I wanted to try. At that point I had owned Warwick/G&L/MM/Yamaha TRB6P-RBX-JM/Cort Artisan and probably some other I can't remeber..lol..all fantastic basses... just not what I was looking for, when I got to Bass Central I played an AB-1/5. End of journey, I got home from holiday and bought one in trans black/passive and its been my main bass up until I bought a Super P/4 in Fiesta Red. I have many bass buddies that now own Dingwalls, Sheldon and team are passionate and relentless in what they do and you can feel it when you play one of their basses. If you are on a "tone journey" like I was you owe it to yourself to try a Dingwall.

Dingwall basses are of top quality and sound great. I own two of the basses made in Canada and will probably get a third when I can decide on options.

I love the quality control, attention to detail and sound of Dingwall basses. The sound of the instruments is clear, articulate, punchy, and fits many different styles of music.

I own a NG3 6 string and it's the best bass I own. The quality of the build is better than expected, the playability and sound is very versatile and It's also very light. I hope one day I can purchase one of the higher end models.

I have manager to get my hands on a Dingwall ng3 five string pink swirl. Realy like everything with it! Down tuned and so good sounding! If you havent tryed one do! 👍🏻🤘🏻😁

Dingwall is simply the best. The detail, quality, and aesthetics in all aspects of their designs are superior to every other manufacturer I have tried. Their instruments comprise 100% of my bass collection including 7 Canadian models and an NG-2.

Easily the best playing, sounding, feeling, and looking instrument I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Amazing tones for everything from jazz and funk to hardcore and death metal. Also answered any and all questions I had during the build process. Very smooth experience from beginning to end. Proud as a Canadian to support a local luthier 🇨🇦!

These basses are epic..! What an experience so far… Dingwall has made it simple and easy to always provide a epic tone..! With plenty of low end accompanied with lots of presence in mid tone and super clarity on the high end has made touring with these basses an amazing experience.. From hip-hop to R&B to pop or even jazz/fusion, it fits every genre.. That sound plus the buttery feel is simply unmatched.. The staff/team at Dingwall have been amazing, since day 1 they always made me feel like I was family and have been a pleasure to work with..
