sizes of ingredient items are getting smaller and smaller over the years I have been using Dinnerly, to the extent that I often now have to top up with ingredients I have had to buy from the supermark... See more

Food is easy
Affordable meals..
Only wanting it every few weeks as a change means I have to make sure I skip constantly as you opt out not opt in each week. Can end up with orders not wanted
Easy to cook, steps very clear and fresh food. Something important: generous servings!
Amazing quality ! Great food choices and super tasty! My husband is eating things he even thought he'd never try. Such a variety of choices as well.
Generally the food is good and the recipes are tasty and cost is fair. But if you have a complaint beware. Customer support has issues. I had issues with delivery and it is hard work getting them to rectify, refund or credit. One time the box arrived in terrible condition and the food was all very banged up and ice packs damaged and the complaint I lodged was NEVER replied to. When I called to complain the lady I spoke to is defensive and disbelieving. They need to address issues with their delivery contractor when the contents of the box arrive looking like it’s been kicked and thrown around and has been opened. They also need to take complaints seriously to rectify issues and apply compensation when the delivery is in an unacceptable condition. And if they had bothered to help me I wouldn’t be leaving a poor review. One more strike and I am out.

DO NOT PURCHASE A GIFT CARD FOR SOMEONE.
The maximum voucher is $50 and the minimum spend is $60 so your gift will require your friend or family to have to pay from their own pocket in order to redeem your gift.
They also won't allow multiple vouchers to be used in a transaction so buying more than one voucher will on make this more stressful for them.

Great recipes. Simple and fast to make with a great variety.
Clear communication, great options, customer service easily accessible and available here in Aus (unlike HelloFresh whose only help is in a overseas call centre where the ingredients seem to come from as old and poor quality). Highly recommended for fast, fresh reliable meal sevice.
Always on time or early delivery. Excellent meals and simple instructions, I even have my 11 and 12 year old children cooking a meal for the family each week!
The food is fresh and packaged well. If we could select meals to include specific ingredients that would be good, like say ‘add more broccoli’ and if we could have a choice to include 2 vegetarian meals amongs our weekly plan that would also be great.
We ONLY had trail box to start with as my family said to try. So we did
Got the box , and we were happy with the food as it was where in the box plus they left it outside my gate in the sun for 5hrs..
We didn’t know that you had to cancel 7 days prior , so they took money from us even tho we didn’t put order in… so the food was all gone anyway..
We rang them to say , we want our money back as we didn’t out order in as we got txt msg saying the box will be in it was in few days ..
They were very rude on phone and say “no your not getting anything back as the 7 days has pass ect”
We told them we didn’t know about that as we are new to this and our first box was only at TRAIL…
They still “to bad no money”
So we told them well we don’t want the box as it has food in it that we wouldn’t eat ect so don’t deliver it..
They said well yes we have to deliver it as it has Already be packed ect
So Monday comes and the box supposed to come between 3-9pm , I get txt and email saying it is delayed by 24hrs so it be here Tuesday late afternoon..
Then still didn’t show up , then another email saying we should get it now on Wednesday..
We waited 3-9pm still NO BOX..
So my hubby rang on Thursday said “where the box as it didn’t show”
We waited and you didn’t deliver out box as you said..
Then they say “ well you said you didn’t want it so we DONATED IT “
We said well no that not good enough as we paid for that and we kept getting msg saying it was coming but it never was you just donated it WITHOUT TELLING US OR OUR CONSENT..
They said nothing and didn’t care at all.
I’m we disappointed and digested in the company on how they handled this and the was they spoke to us
I have told my family about it and they have no left also and they are disappointed also..
HelloFresh is much better in my eye as they listen and will help you more..
Shame on you Dinnerly!!!
If was me I would go with them..

Have tried many of the meal options but consistently ordered Dinnerly now for 6 months. The meals are well priced, easy recipes to follow, and family friendly. We will keep ordering!
The food is always delicious and with large serving sizes makes leftovers taste even better
The "fresh" veggies were far from fresh (not ripe, nearly ready for the bin and/or damaged). The meat was very poor quality. You have to supply alot more pantry items than some of the other companies. The flavour of the recipes were very below average and I'm not even a picky eater. And no recipe cards so made it difficult trying to read a big recipe card that not formatted to be viewed on a phone. Wouldn't recommend.

After having a baby these meals have saved us! So quick and easy to cook a variety of recipes and healthy! Have also managed to lose weight! Only reason for a 4 star is that a couple of time we have received vegetables that weren't fresh and we couldn't use, was fine we just substituted what we had in the fridge/freezer or just left out
Dinnerly is great for convenience, flavour, variety, cost, value for money.
The recipes are easy to prepare and cook. I don't waste any products due to having to purchase large quantities that are not required. And best of all, I don't have to think about what to cook the family for dinner! It's all right there in a box!
Need to be a greater variety of meals, too many are based around noodles or pasta. Previously
( before add ons etc) more options were available ( even cakes etc).
Serving sizes for 2 people are inadequate (eg only 5 chicken tenderloins), to make a normal size meal, you then need to add lots of side veggies.
Not sure just feel for the meat selection (unless you pick yourself) is to reliant on chicken. Brings down the quality of the recipes l feel.

Good food & recepies - Some meal portions are on the too small size. (I.e. 1 standard size potato and 1 standard size carrot, plus 1 small chicken fillet for 2 people!) But we like the recepies and the quality is usually good too. Just opp the sizing a bit. (PS: We are both slender, I am underweight so our needs are not excessive. I normally have the opposite problem that I can not eat it all - So the serving mentioned really is to small to cater for 2 people!
