This service is convenient when it works. Unfortunately most of the time it doesn't work. I have had problems almost every week for over two months now. This current week has by far been the worst. There were no recipe cards included, I received a crushed can of beans, I was missing an ingredient, and I received three ingredients that don't even go to any of the recipes I ordered. This service is about convenience, and when there are this many problems the service is anything but convenient.

The worst food I have ever eaten. I could not cut the chicken it was like a rubber band! You were pretty good some time ago but you have deteriorated badly.

The food I've ordered is good. Not too many different options that I don't already make myself at home though so it's a struggle to find recipes weekly to meet my dietary restrictions needed. I've done this for 3 weeks so far and the first box was quick and on time. The 2nd vox came early due to weather which was great,. Then the 3rd box came 2 days late and the veggies were limp and shmuchy

Multiple calls/ contacts to "customer service" unacknowledged or for which there has been no response.Cool unfrozen ingredients 2-3 days late, and you cannot even be bothered to reply.

Love how easy it is to plan dinners every night, and control my nightly calorie consumption.
Dinner Ky provided good entrees. Food was fresh and we had lots of flavor profiles. The only complaint would be that the majority of the entrees were chicken. It would be nice if there were more fish or shellfish options.
A couple weeks in a row I have been missing some ingredients and a recipe card. The recent snow storm and temps made this week a bust. Lost all my vegetables except for the carrots. I have had to ad lib most of my meals due to frozen vegetables and missing ingredients. App went down. Next day had to remove it and add back on phone. I have mainly had positive experiences. Price good compared to other companies.

Love the recipes for the most part. Ingredient quality is usually good.
Wish I could give more stars, but am on the vegetarian plan, and there is often not enough protein in many of the dishes. Just cheese and pasta is not sufficient, and I will typically add a can of beans or cook some farro, etc., when needed.
Please address this missing and vital element!

Dinnerly is the best value meal kit I've used. I've used their services on and off for several years. As the cost of groceries have gone up, Dinnerly has reduced the quantity of their meals. More meals are dependent on staples like excessive butter or vinegar. Protein portions are reduced, like the chicken breasts are so thin now. Steak could be part of a regular meal in the past but now all steak is premium. Small changes like the condensed broth packs being reduced in recipes and heavier dependence on turkey over even chicken broth really shows how hard Dinnerly is trying to keep their costs low. Even with these changes, the meals are still generally tasty and simple to prepare. The variety of plant based meals is fantastic.
The recipe pages were helpful, but moving to an electronic platform for the cards was a PHENOMENAL step towards a more sustainable box. Your food quality is always great and fresh. Thank you for the chance to change details easily, skip a box for travel, and for adding great market items. Lastly your pastries are AMAZING. Never change those, Please!!
Lowest per-plate cost of all the dinner programs, with great variety and easy directions. Most times, recipe cards are not included in box, so I have to cook while handling my phone — I don’t like doing that — but I stay w Dinnerly bc the price per plate is so good.
The box was 3 days late. Wasn’t what I ordered ranch was exploded all over everything and there were no recipe cards

I’m really impressed with how simple these recipes are from Dinnerly and delicious! I usually go with the under 30 min recipes and I love the variety, it changes every week. There’s plenty to choose from too. Dinnerly has me feeling like a chef everytime I serve my girlfriend and I a healthy home cooked meal.
We did not enjoy the food at all — everything was plain, bland, and honestly disappointing. Because of that, we canceled our subscription. Nearly a week later, I noticed they were preparing to send us another box anyway. I immediately emailed customer service to remind them that I had already canceled, and I received no response.
Then they went ahead, shipped the box, and charged my credit card after the cancellation. When I called to get my money back, they flat-out refused. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and I was told it would take around 48 hours before anyone higher up could even talk to me.
At this point, this feels like a scam. They took my money for a service I canceled, ignored my email, and refused a refund. The food was terrible, and the business practices are even worse.
Protect your wallet — this company is dishonest and absolutely deserves this horrible review.

I'm still waiting for a response from a supervisor that was supposed to contact me. The customer service agent I spoke to had a crying baby on her lap. Real professional. They responded to this post telling me to email again and I have. Just give me my money, your box is unopened in a freezer, send a return label and I'll ship it back. It's truly that simple.

Just got another response to this review again. It says the same thing, "we'll get ahold of you later, email us here". I HAVE!! YOU DONT RESPOND! Except these little repones to bad reviews so you can try to look good as if you are taking care of your customers. When you are most definitely not. I will keep updating this every day until you at the very least get ahold of me. It will show a pattern of you blowing off your customers issues. People will see there is NO customer and not order from you. Thus, saving many people from wasting their money.

They now admit that their website did not process my cancelation correctly when it was done in time. They still will not refund my money. Here is the response in an email from Filipa Vi at Dinnerly.com on 1/20/26.
"While I understand there was an issue with the website not recording the cancellation correctly, unfortunately, this does not make the order eligible for a refund."
This is a good admission since my credit card company is disputing it also. They're admitting their wrong doing and still denying me my money.

I love the price of Dinnerly and the food options. Lately though, my packer hasn't been great. We've been missing items and gotten food that hasn't lasted.

I love that Dinnerly rarely gets the ingredients wrong. If they do they are easy to work with in correcting the situation. I would recommend making the prepared menu selection a little bit more expansive. I get cooking burnout. It isn’t one of my favorite things to do. I prefer to get something healthy from Dinnerly than eat put.
Pros: Food is fresh; recipes are easy; portions are decent; product arrives in timely fashion; good selection of meals
Cons: Boxes ALWAYS have missing ingredients and/or recipe cards. Customer service is negligible to non-existent. Responses are spotty, vague, and are always prefaced with a statement declaring how busy they are. Cooking instructions aren't always accurate.

Orders are almost always one or two days late. Around a third of the time the orders are wrong or missing items. I’ve had an order not show up at all.. It took me three weeks to get a reply which led to a refund. That’s said, I’ve been using them for six months now and the recipes portions are pretty decent tasting and the options are numerous and good too.
