I visited a direct golf store/range the other day and had an excellent all round experience. The store was well organised and stocked - offering a huge range of equipment and accessories. The staff working there were extremely happy to help with any queries we had and give us advice on the range. The stock in the store was extremely good value for money, and will probably make a purchase from there in the future.

After not swinging the club for over a year, I started back at the calderfields direct golf driving range, fantastic facility, the staff are friendly, and the club shop offers a brilliant range of all types of golf gear

Direct golf is a great place to buy all your golfing gear from beginners to advance level. The prices are good and the staff are friendly.

Have used the Edgware shop for a few years now. Good prices on golf balls, shoes, accessories and bags.
When a push trolley broke after nine months, the item was replaced without argument as inside the guarantee period.
Always have found staff helpful and knowledgeable!

Took my son to the driving range and looked in golf shop afterwards.
Main thing I noticed was the great prices.
Had no intention of buying anything but ended up walking out with a golf bag for my older son.
Staff very friendly as well.

This used to be the leading 'go to' online golf retailer with a great range, fantastic prices, free postage and helpful, knowledgeable staff. Sadly, it is now part of the Mike Ashley empire. All the above attributes have gone.

If you want premium golf equipment at a good price, go elsewhere. If you want a £1.99 football, that is a bit too hard to kick without fear of injury and a £2.99 Dunlop umbrella that falls apart on its first use, you've scored. Take a fiver along and have both. Broken toe football in the rain here we come! So much more fun than golf?

ordered 3 shirts by tommy hilfiger supposedly reduced from 60 odd pounds to 22 as a flash sale item.
paid £5 postage, shirts arrived and now blatentley obvious tommy hilfiger make dish rags as well for the sports direct outlet .... they are total rubbish quality, almost see through and only use will be for work as they are another £5 return postage

Bought shoes a couple of months ago. Direct Golf now owned by Sports Direct who refuse to honour guarantee. What was a good company now unusable unless you want something off the back of a Larry. Cannot even contact them by phone anymore. Avoid with a barge pole if you want protection.

What a fantastic shop on A14, with driving range. Very friendly staff. Had 7 lessons with Ian there.

I've recently read very poor reviews of Direct Golf and had a read them before placing my order I would have gone elsewhere but to be honest we have had a decent experience. It is anoying that you can no longer place your order over the phone and we had an issue with deliver (paid next day delivery which it didn't but you can get a number for customer services if you go about it the right way and after speaking to them they refunded the postage). I thought I'd give them a justified positive review but in all honesty I problably won't use them again as it is a shame that such a good company seems to be moving away from the high end merchandise and going to the lower end market but that is what you get when a company like sports direct takes them over. Most reviews nowdays are only written because people have had a poor experience - think of the amount of people that have dealt with this very large company who were happy and just not reviewed it.

I ordered a pair of golf trousers good price but Yodel have lost them after claiming to have delivered them .i think that a company you can only contact by email and offers no quick response is not one I will dealing with again

What a fantastic shop, excellent knowledgable staff and a fantastic driving range.

Wish I had read these reviews before ordering. Anyway made the mistake of ordering a couple of Nike shirts and the courier (Yodel of course, the cheapest and worst out there, yet DG charged £4.99 for standard delivery - or non-delivery in this case) failed to deliver, and neither company wants to know. Unbelievably rubbish service from both companies and no way to contact DG which says it all. Now having to go through PayPal to try to get a refund. PLEASE save yourself the hassle and don't use Directgolf, there are so many good online golf retailers out there that you don't need to. Truly awful, if no stars was an option ...

These people are conmen. They will take your money and offer you NO customer service. They are not contactable by phone and do not answer emails. If you have to return anything then you have NO chance. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. STAY CLEAR.. The previous reviews are spot on..

RETURNED ITEM FOR A REFUND STILL WAITING A MONTH LATER FOR MY MONEY . BEEN GIVEN LOTS OF BILLSHUT ON THE PHONE AND EMAILS ABOUT COMPANY PROBLEMS . DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR ITEMS AND WILL NOT GET A REFUND.

I ordered a waterproof jacket on the 1st October 2015. It has now been nearly 3 weeks and I still have not received the item. I have emailed Direct Golf three times. Each time I have received an automated response saying some one will reply as soon as possible. I am yet to receive an email responding to my request. There phone systems are down and so I am unable to contact them on the phone about my order. Bitterly disappointing.

Placed an order over 3 weeks ago, heard nothing from them for a week after order was placed. After sending 5 emails I finally get a response 'Due to a technical issue we cannot process your order and you will receive a refund within 5 working days' It has been 11 days and still no refund. Absolutely shocking customer service, do not buy from them.
