Amazing service from start to finish

Such an amazing service from Maria. This lovely lady went above and beyond to help me secure my sunglasses prior to going on holiday after I had basically left it too late. The communication from order to dispatch was fantastic. The frame choice is great and the sizing guides are really helpful to match to your current glasses. We will be using Direct Sight in future that’s for sure.

I cannot rate this Company enough and…

I cannot rate this Company enough and Zoe too :) friendly, professional, helpful - the best service ever!
3rd pair of glasses, 1. Normal driving glasses are amazing, 2. Computer glasses along with the help and advice from Zoe have changed my life - I can see properly when working, 3. Photochromic lens glasses - wow! normal glasses that turn into sun glasses and revert back etc - absolutely perfect - ill be back for 4 soon :) thank you Direct Sight!

Quick and easy to order of website,Alot…

Quick and easy to order of website,Alot of different options to choose from aswell.
Had a little delay with them this time due to royal mail,Rung them and told them my dilemma and within a week got my glasses delivered..Can't thank them enough for their brillant customer service.

Having previously ordered and been delighted with glasses from Direct Sight, it seemed natural to order a new pair from them. I have varifocals with distance and close-up vision but the first new pair that arrived could only be used for close work. I contacted Direct Sight and discovered I had clicked the wrong button on the website. To my amazement, they made me a new pair to the correct specification without any extra charge. These arrived today and are absolutely perfect - not even any adjustment needed to the arms and I can see clearly all around. I can't praise Direct Sight too much. Zoe was especially kind and helpful and is an example of customer service at its very best. No guesses needed as to where I will order my next glasses from.

Poor customer service

I have had several pairs of glasses, some arriving late. The pair I purchased 6 months ago have started to peel on the frames. They want them returned to inspect which seems unreasonable. I am expected to be without the glasses while the lab looks at them to decide the fault! They are just glasses for tv, the only fault is cheap materials used. Poor customer service, especially to loyal customers, 6 pairs of glasses previously purchased but never again

Amazing company

I absolutely love Direct Sight .. they are fantastic and great value for money especially with the terrible eye sight that I have been bestowed with !
I’d been quoted almost £300 for a pair at high street competitor and I managed to get 2 pairs for less than half the price .
I’ve used them a few years now and I can’t fault them as company at all , Zoe and Maria are absolutely fantastic representatives for this company and their customer service is second to none .
When I accidentally received a wrong pair of glasses they absolutely did everything to correct it straight away and were extremely apologetic and sympathetic and I received my new correct pair very quickly which of course I’m extremely pleased with !
I honestly would give this company a thousand out of 10 if I could ! They are the only glasses company I will use and continue to use .

I have been using Direct Sight for a…quite a few years

I have been using Direct Sight for a few years now. I have always found then to be extremely reliable, quick and efficient. I have always been happy with my glasses particularly how the thin lenses are so well fitted in the frames . In the last 6 months they have replaced two pairs of glasses which broke, without question or interrogation. Lovely friendly customer service at the end of the telephone. Thankyou! Carol Charlton

I have been chatting with Maria since…

I have been chatting with Maria since the beginning, and she has been brilliant. My eyes are not the “easy” ones, but she helped me a lot to find my new lenses and glasses.
The quality is excellent compared to the price, and the delivery is so fast. I would recommend them.

Absolutely terrible experience

Absolutely terrible experience.

Their system can't even send an email to a customer to confirm their order. I had to call them multiple times until I eventually got an order confirmation email sent to me.

My order never arrived and I chased them multiple times for tracking details and they gave me nothing. Seems like they've lost the delivery and to top it all of they make me complete a form to confirm I've not received the order, only to turn around and say they won't refund me. I will be reporting them to trading standards as they clearly don't know about consumer rights.

"Failure to deliver within a reasonable time and after the agreed deadline is a breach under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

This business deserves to be exposed for it's dodgy practices.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We a​​​​re sorry for the initial order confirmation email not reaching you however can see that this was successfully received after speaking directly with our Team.

As discussed with you, all delivery details were in order and there wasn't an obvious reason as to why your glasses would not have been delivered to your address, unless there was a delay at the local sorting depot at the time.

We have policies in place for instances such as Non-Receipt of Orders, especially for high-value items. As you opted for a refund, the appropriate form(s) had to be completed to allow us to raise an investigation with the third-party courier otherwise, in this unfortunate world, companies can can fall victim to fraud.

Please be reminded that we had offered to issue a replacement, which is within our rights as a Supplier. As a Consumer, you have the right to accept or decline this. We will always encourage a replacement pair as the time that Royal Mail can take to come back to us, a replacement pair could have been produced and dispatched, sent on a signed-for, tracked, 24 hour service to ensure safe and secure receipt of the order you have paid for.

We respected your decision for a refund and had to act accordingly in light of that. It is unfortunate that you opted to raise a chargeback which limited our options on resolving the matter for you, overall.

Excellent Service, saved us from disaster!

Excellent Service, really came through in a mini crisis I was having. My daughter broke her specs a few days before a big trip overseas. It wasn't the easiest prescription to fill but this company came through and ensured the glasses turned up in time. Zoe in the firm kept me up to date with the progress and put my mind at rest. The glasses themselves are good quality- maybe a little big, but that was our fault for not providing enough measurements (we were in a bit of a stressed rush)! They got her through her trip though and a disaster was averted!

I would recommend this company to anyone. Stellar service and great customer engagement.

I ordered in between Christmas and New…

I ordered in between Christmas and New Year, as I had lost my specs - (I thought they had probably been ‘gathered’ up with wrapping paper and plopped in a bin bag!). I couldn’t find them after ripping open 5/6 bags so reverted to my last pair. Within hours I knew I needed a new pair as I had not long been diagnosed with diabetes and had just had a new prescription. Because of the time of year, there was nobody on the high street who could help me out and I was told to wait until January and then probably a couple of weeks. I then found Direct Sight online and found a pair of specs that were great for me! I filled in the form, took photos of my prescription and paid the £19-odd for next day delivery! I was excited! I then received an email saying my prescription was difficult to understand, so I sent what I had in response. I was then told there had been a problem with their computer/machinery and I could get a full refund if I didn’t want to continue with the purchase. I had nothing to lose by now as we were now into the new year bank holiday, so I agreed to continue with the purchase. I am so glad I did! I was given a refund on the 24 hour postage and had great communication from direct sight. My specs arrived exactly when I was told they would and were in great packaging! I suppose I expected some sort of case, or even a fabric case, but considering what I had paid I’m probably pushing it! Fabulous communication, fabulous help with prescription details, fabulous specs!! I have already been looking at different colours and shapes and will be shopping here again! Thank you for all your help and communication. I’m a very happy shopper and have told my family and friends! P.S. I found my ‘lost’ pair in a box when I was taking the Christmas tree down! 🤣🤣

Called for help when placing order

Called for help when placing g order, advisor couldn't of been more helpful. Took the time for me to send old and new prescriptions so we could establish mid range vision values as not on new prescription. Took time to help me confirm my order. Ordered 3 pairs within 5 days arrived all great. Already ordered another pair for spare. FANTASTIC 😊

This company will never refund fully.

The glasses took longer to arrive and arrived damaged. I started a return for a refund and at first they refused to pay postage. They then accused me of poor handing ..The nose piece bent out of shape which would need brute force to even budge. They refused to do full refund even though it was within 14 days and the glasses were unusable. Customer services were condescending. Have started a chargeback for the missing amount. Do not trust this company with your money.

Half wrong !

One perfect set of glasses, second set I couldn't see out of , apparently the prescription was wrong but was the same prescription for first pair . They refunded me £12.75 after I refused them to make another pair. Buyers beware in case of problems you will get ripped off !

Pleasure dealing with Direct Sight

Very impressed during my recent interaction. Clear communication. Easily contactable on helpline. Timely receipt of glasses. Simply queried about 2 separate postage charges for 2 glasses ordered together. They refunded one, without any fuss. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

VERY DISAPPOINTING!!

VERY DISAPPOINTING

Paid over a 40 days ago for Urgent glasses for my mother who has cataracts and glaucoma they messed me around from day one with empty promises and no delivery what so ever,was lied to several times and given false delivery dates

Unfortunately, in this time my mother is unable to read as she has no glasses. SO NO GLASSES & NO CONTACT ! I Rang Maria, who told me catagorically they'll be upgraded post on the 17th of January because we've waited a month - so we would get next day delivery! NOTHING waited an extra 13 days still NOTHING - So now we've waited over 40days

Contacted them about their complaints process & was told to write a letter. My order states ESTIMATED PRODUCTION TIME 7-10 Working Days(not 40 days & we still don’t have them)….PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! After reading all the really bad reviews over the Internet this is something I wished I had done before I paid them, BIG lesson learnt now...
