Just received a surprise £100 gift voucher from MailOnline to choose from so many brands I chose Argos.
I was a bit skeptical it would work as such a good discount. Had eye on battery lawnmower for last 2 yrs & it had never been reduced.
This week it reduced from £360 to £290 so I happily used the £100 gift card to use against it +Argos had a £5 off over £30+ I had £2.50 in Nectar points too, amazing a £360 lawnmower for only £182.50 just shy of half price!!!
Thank you MailOnline gift card you gave me the incentive to buy my lawnmower now at such a good deal!

I also think I have been conned ! ☹️
I Booked a TUI holiday costing £3750 which entitled me to a £350 Amazon voucher which I registered for. I received an e-mail back on 02/09/24 stating that my reward had been registered and to use the link to book which I followed, I booked holiday and waited a couple of days as advised but never received an email.
I contacted them on 04/09/24.
I received an e-mail back from them saying that my transaction was not found in their system, I was told to consult the FAQ on Daily Mail/Metro for information about my reward. There was no link on the e-mail to the page and I could not find it.
There was also a list of reasons why my transaction was not tracked but I cannot understand why I received an e-mail saying my reward had been validated?
They did ask me to send a copy of my TUI invoice along with the vaildation e-mail which I sent through to them the same day but I have not heard back from them since so it would appear this has been ignored.
The original response I received from them had a copy and paste feel to it and I am very disappointed that after taking the time to gather and send through the documentation they requested that they have not seen fit to respond to me. I have chased and had nothing back.
A very disappointing experience overall considering the cost of the holiday.
Date of experience: 02/09/24
One very unhappy customer
UPDATE 13/09
Got an update today that my order wasn’t tracked that I must have done something wrong and sent the same list as per first time. They did say if I could cancel my order as in holiday that I am going on next week and re-book and follow the steps that I followed the first time it might work then. Even though the offer end date was 31/08/24. Wouldn’t you think when I sent all the info and the proof that they requested and spent £3750 on holiday they would have done something. They can clearly see it was booked. I have topcash back I could have used them as I would normally use. It’s totally disgusting total rip off. Would also like to remove the one star and give them none. Also shows how many people they are ripping off with the amount of complaints they receive. Didn’t take them long to get in contact once I added a review to trust pilot.
19/09 Emailed them again as not happy with the reply received and asked them to advised exactly what I had done wrong. them sending the same list of what to do means nothing as I already followed the list in the first place. Think it might have something to do with it been a £350 voucher and once again heard nothing.☹️ Would love to know how many complaints they receive seen as you keep going to the bottom of the list every time you try to contact them. And it takes weeks for them to come back to you
25/09 received an email back asking what voucher I would like, so hopefully getting somewhere. I will update as soon as I hear back and hopefully can change to a five star.

I Booked a TUI holiday costing £4400 which entitled me to a £200 Amazon voucher which I registered for. I received an e-mail back on 18/5/24 stating that my reward had been registered and validated and it would be issued in up to 3 months.
As this timeframe had passed I contacted them with a polite reminder on 2/9/24.
I received an e-mail back from them on 4/9/24 saying that my transaction was not found in their system, I was told to consult the FAQ on Daily Mail/Metro for information about my reward. There was no link on the e-mail to the aforementioned page and for the life of me I could not find it.

***Update***
After the negative review, I was requested to send some information through regarding the booking which I replied with immediately. Unfortunately I have not heard from them since.
I also sent another e-mail to their customer service team as I have not heard a thing from them for almost a week but disappointingly (not surprisingly) this has once again been ignored.
***Update***
I finally received a response from someone called Pierre on 11/9/24.
After being told off for having the audacity to contact them again when I had heard nothing for over a week I was asked to send them even more information !!!
2 days later I received a more polite e-mail from Ricardo, however it was not quite the answer I was looking for. It would appear that the goal posts have moved ever so slightly as in when I booked the holiday, I was supposed to receive the reward 90 days from the date of booking (this is now been and gone). I am now being told that if I don't receive it after 4 months from the end date of travel, I have to contact them again and they will process it manually.
I would have thought that considering it is 4 months since I received confirmation of the reward and 7 weeks since I returned from the holiday that they would have the decency to process it "manually" now.
OBVIOUSLY NOT!

Just received my amazon gift card. Gotta be patient, these things take time and it's worth waiting. Thank you so much.

I’m still waiting on a gift card from Amazon from a purchase I made back in March. I’ve contacted them numerous times - had one response and nothing since despite several email chasers from me. I sent them all the information they have asked for to help track the status of the gift card I’m entitled to (I know everything is in order as I’m just careful to keep correspondence filed away appropriately for these reasons!).
VoucherCodes rewards are received so much quicker and their customer service team is efficient and responsive.

Waiting on a gift card from several months back but no sign. Had an email months back saying my booking had tracked, but nothing since.

Made a booking via the mail online link to receive a gift card spending over £300 in full on booking.com but months later still not received the gift card so I emailed them over two weeks ago enquiring about the gift card but still no reply. This is the second time I’ve had to chase up a gift card with this company.

I left a review here previously as I was unable to get a response about an outstanding voucher I am owed. The company replied to my review asking me to contact an email (it won’t let me specify the email here). That was on the 10th June and I still haven’t had a response. I’d really appreciate some support with this.

Purchased a qualifying order back in Demeber and never received the gift card, I have emailed a few times but never receive a response (not even an automated response letting me know that my email will be looked at)
Awful service and a massive waste of time.. very misleading advertising a gift card with a qualifiying order if the gift card is never going to be sent out.

I have a recent experience with a gift code for Booking.com, which was positive. The customer service representative Pierre was very helpful and arranged everything. Thank you.

Order didn’t track, entered my email address but nothing. Contacted the online contact form twice and no reply.

It is now six months since my qualifying purchase. After hearing nothing for four months I made contact regarding the £200 amazon gift card. After a few emails back and forth, three weeks ago I received an email confirming my transaction had been successfully validated and the amazon gift card code was in a link. When I tried to apply the gift code to my amazon account I found it had already been applied to another account. I have sent four emails since to complain/seek assistance, all my emails are now being ignored so I’m still waiting.
*UPDATE, Since my post yesterday my gift card has been re-issued and is now in my amazon account. It appears my emails requesting assistance pushed my complaint to the bottom of the pile, strange but true. A simple acknowledgment of my emails would have been nice, I can confirm that I received no auto reply emails. Pierre, whom I have had all dealings with was very good throughout this time. This update has increased my experience from one star to four stars.
