Disney Plus has been disappointing

Disney has acquired the rights to a large number of films and TV programmes, but my experience with Disney Plus has been disappointing.

I’ve noticed that some films and series appear to be edited compared to versions I’ve previously watched in cinemas, on DVD/VHS, or on other platforms. In certain cases, dialogue has been altered and scenes seem to be trimmed or removed altogether.

For me, this takes away from the original experience of these films and programmes. I prefer to watch them as they were originally released, without edits or changes.

Because of this, I don’t feel Disney Plus offers good value for me personally, and I’ve chosen to seek out physical media instead so I can enjoy these films in their original form.

The software looks suspiciously similar…

The software looks suspiciously similar to Netflix, but where they differ is the unwanted commercials or previews for different shows before I can't watch what I selected. Their "continue watching" is consistently inconsistent. You can't skip over the "previous" part in the episodes

I regularly work away from home at…

I regularly work away from home at night, so use streaming services both at home and my workplace. Disney+ seems to have taken the same stance as Netflix and charging me for an extra member when I’m away from home even though this is still me just at a different location. Big money making scam I will not be subscribing again

We won’t allow you

They try their best to block you from deleting your account with an endless dark pattern loop that leads you back to the subscription page. It shouldn’t be this difficult and what Disney is doing is most likely illegal in the EU to some extent.

If you are having the same issue tag on /accountdelete to the end of the disneyplus.com adress and it should take you to the deletion page.

It's so many ads. So I am beginning to get insane
When you are watching a series it's like a ad every 10 minutes
