Rely not worth the price. The help is automated and just keeps trying to upsell me. I probably could have done this all myself and saved 3k.

Divorce.com has been very helpful, kind and patient with me while navigating the forms and getting all the documentation I needed together. Highly recommended@

I have been receiving confusing instructions from Divorce.com and your recommended attorneys that I paid a fee to use regarding how to fill out the forms correctly. For example, I do not understand why under Real Property that there is not an option to say that the property would be awarded to both parties and the assets would be split accordingly.

I told the representative what I wanted to do, and she did it in less than 5 minutes. Quick and easy!

Absolutely no help. They're processes and forms are not friendly for the LGBTQ community. The paperwork is all pre-built templates, that read like pre-built templates. I could have done better and saved $2,000 by doing it myself.
I asked for help multiple times and was constantly told they couldn't. I'm having to list myself as the mother because our child has two dads.

**UPDATE as of 7/18 from a 1 star review** After posting my initial review, I was contacted by Tamara from Divorce.com. She listened to my concerns and offered a 50% refund. I'm very pleased with the outcome and appreciate the proactive follow-up. It shows the company is willing to resolve an issue when given the chance.

After entering the required information and submitting my request to obtain the necessary documents, I believed I could change the jurisdiction from California to Utah. However, despite trying to update the state, the system remained locked on California. I was then informed that switching to a new jurisdiction would require an additional payment of $249.50.
I ultimately used Utah’s online service, which allowed me to make the necessary jurisdictional changes without any issues. Unfortunately, I’m now out $499. for a service I couldn’t even use. Rather than offering a partial refund, I was told I’d need to pay more.

It's great to be able to get this done in a matter that works for both parties and be able to control your wants and needs in such a difficult time.

The process has been mostly very smooth, which I can't imagine it would be with hearings. They missed finding my money order in the envelope, but once they looked for it in the envelope (they keep everything!) a second time, they located it.

Provided the forms well. Instructions for the filling out the forms was often good but sometimes confusing and sometimes lacked clarity. Help with questions was sometimes slow and some questions were not answered well. I would recomend to others as I belive that this was the best resource out there for non-contested divorces.

The professionalism from the people working on my divorce. And the prompt responses back to my emails.

Their mission states “Why make divorce harder than it has to be.” But they totally filed the wrong paperwork for my county and will not rectify the issue and expect me to figure out which forms are the wrong ones. THIS IS WHAT I PAID THEM TO DO! I was expecting my divorce to be final in 2 weeks, planning on closing on a new house shortly after and moving across the country and now I don’t even know if I will be divorced by then. They totally made it HARDER on me, not easier!

terrible oh my god. it is such a waste of time, they will not do anything but take your money and drag your case out forever without ever delivering anything.

Sold as a "fully guided" package but any time guidance was needed, I received canned answers to my questions. Should have just paid the money for a lawyer, lesson learned.

Divorce.com doesn't honor their customer service guarantee. First of all, the "divorce coach" that we are provided is absolutely useless. They are not qualified to provide legal advice and so they basically are available to tell you what's on the website and that you should seek the advice of a lawyer. Although it would seem that our divorce would be straightforward-- one property, no children-- we had an issue with the way that our paperwork was worded and our joint petition was rejected by the court.
A few wasted hundred dollars worth of filing fees later, Divorce.com steered me to use their partner service, JustAnswer, to provide legal advice on remedying my paperwork. JustAnswer is explicit about the fact that their services "do not constitute legal advice" and the lawyer they referred me to did not provide an answer to my question.
I paid for the $1300 guided divorce process and am still dealing with having to seek outside counsel nearly a year later because Divorce.com cannot deliver on what it promises to. At the time I purchased their services, Divorce.com's guarantee page stated that "if your filing is not accepted by a court, we'll help you make it right, and, if we can't, we'll refund our fees on your divorce paper generation." I sought a refund in January 2025 because my ongoing issues that seemed to be beyond the scope of the Divorce.com platform and was told that I was ineligible for one. I started this process over a year ago with this scam website and am still working on finalizing my divorce.
They are inefficient and needlessly complicate what is already a stressful process. Save your money and use it for a local attorney who is going to be able to provide you with the guidance you require.
