My wife and I both have Blur style frames and have ridden them for 2 seasons in the southeast area. Both bikes have made it through 100k races with no issues. Frame assembled well and has held up. We both started with 120mm forks and opted to go down to 100mm to make the pedaling position better. All in all great experience!

Great kids’ frame! I assembled it myself and everything went together perfectly — nothing to complain about. We’ve already ridden about 100 km on it without a single issue.

Purchased a FS frame in December 2025. The bottom bracket threads de-bonded from the frame after 2 months of gentle riding. By June 2025 a warranty claim was accepted but as of now ( February 2026 ) I have not received a replacement. Ty communicates poorly and rarely responds to ( civil ) emails. Instead of riding a bicycle I have excuses about " manufacturing backlogs " and " illnesses " and less money in my account.
Update :
The day after I wrote this review Ty contacted me to sort out my warranty issue and 3 weeks later I got a refund. The day I received the refund Ty contacted me to withdraw my review but I decided to amend it.
Response to the Reply:
I would like to reply to Ty's reply to my review.
I have been nothing but accurate and courteous in my review but feel that your response is distorting the timeline and the speed or lack of your replies to my emails.
After accepting the warranty in June it took 2 months of silence from your end before telling me there was a holdup at custom paint for the frame and you were " getting it pushed through paint ". 1 month later you wrote " the warranty is good to ship now ". 2 months after that you were telling me the frame was still held up in painting ( we are now 5 months in ) and offered me a non-painted frame declaring it would ship in 7-10 days.At that stage I agreed to taking a non-painted frame.
2 months AFTER THAT you wrote that my frame is still held up in paint and offered me a non-painted frame.
I hope you can appreciate how frustrating the whole process was.
In particular I can count 28 emails coming from me with over half of those not getting a response.
As I declared above You did send me a refund and as far as I am concerned we are good.

Ty reached out and got my order shipped after we corrected a billing error (my fault) Thank you Ty!

Bought these for my son for his race bike. They’ve been great so far. Very light and the ride quality seems great. He definitely feels much faster after dropping so much rolling weight. Hub is awesome. Very high engagement. Completely changed the feel of the bike!

I ordered a carbon seatpost from DIY Carbon. I replaced my alloy one for it, it has been working great!

I ordered the DCB RDU700 Specialized Tarmac Style Ultralight Disc Brake Road Frame So far I’m in love with this frame. I didn’t want to pay $4000 for a frame that simply isn’t worth it to me. So for under $2,000 I was able to build an electronic shift, hydraulic brake, power meter, and carbon fiber wheels bike. We inspected the frame and it quite simply looks and feels amazing. Time will tell once I take the bike on some runs but honestly there is nothing that makes me question the frame. Took around 30 days to get the frame and Ty was very responsive and kept me updated. Unless something wild happens I will honestly probably buy a spare to have as a back up just in case. Once the frame shipped on a Friday it was in my hands the following Wednesday even from china. It’s impossible to state just how amazing of a deal this is unless something crazy happens and if it were to happen I will update. Thanks Ty!

I got the XCE 29er last year and turned into a drop bar hardtail for Leadville. This was such a fun build and helped me get my second belt Buckle.

“The wheels arrived in 22 days, exactly the weight promised. I installed them today, but haven't been able to test them yet. I use tubeless, the rubber fits well, holds pressure. Nice, quality product, thanks for the fast delivery.”

Switched out my smallish 27.5 plus frame for this in large size. Frame quality was excellent and well-packed. My existing components matched just fine. I had previously purchased carbon wheels from DCB a few years ago which are great. Running 27,5 x 2.8 tires which clears the stays fine (but are about the limit). Ty was great help along the way. Awesome frame!

That frame is just awesome. Superior quality, great paint and everything worked without any problem. That frame was perfectly packed and protected against any impact. If I ever build another bike I definitely will order here again.”

Great fit and finish from DIY Carbon Bikes. This seat post is as light as they get, while still maintaining strength. The ti-bolts stay nice and tight through harsh riding.
These are the best wheels I've ever seen. I got the high gloss finish and with 19 years experience at a paint shop, I checked for flaws. They are perfect with a grade A showroom finish. I also got the bladed spokes, I don't know what they do but they look cool lol. Fast ace hubs have plenty of engagement and sound great. I think everything is custom made, it's going to take a little while to put your stuff together but it's worth it. Do yourself a favor and look up rotational momentum, then order some carbon wheels from this guy, especially if you have a 26 inch bike because he's the only one making them.
I have two of these frames. One built as a rigid 29x3.0 singlespeed and one as a 1x10 gravel bike with 700x47 tires. Both perform extremely well and I've had zero issues with both. The singlespeed is the most nimble bike I've ever ridden... and with the 29x3.0 tires it's a tank that rolls over everything! I decided on Wheels Mfg Threaded BB to make sure there would be no creaking from the BB. I had a Stache Aluminum frame when they first came out. I had issues with frame flex and skipping gears when I tried it as singlespeed. These frames do not have any issues like that. Excellent investment! Get one before they stop making them!!
Trek Rail & DIY Carbon
I recently purchased a set of carbon fiber wheels from DIY Carbon. I mounted the new wheels on my Trek Rail 9.8XT and it transformed my bike into a precise machine. The bike feels more active and the wheels are very strong. I found that they are also easy to clean. The process went well in ordering the wheels, all of my questions were answered quickly. The wheels arrived safely and were well packed to prevent damage. I was relieved to see them slip into my front fork and rear stays with ease. The hard part about the process is choosing the accessories to make a unique statement. I would recommend these wheels to anyone looking to upgrade to carbon fiber wheels.

Had some issues with the order, but Ty (the founder) made things right in the end.

It took some time but the outcome was better than I exspected. The frame is beautiful and rides like a gem. I am very pleased.
Great product at an affordable price. Excellent quality. Timely shipping. Bought the boost rigid fork version. Works perfectly with my drop bar mtb project. Appears robust for trail use, maybe not ideal for aggressive or jumping.
Easy to order. Frame is very nice, light. It came with a headset. All parts from my aluminum mountain bike fit without any problems. Ride quality is very nice for the trails I ride. Time will tell about durability.
