I was trying to replace one of my light switches with a wi-fi enabled smart switch. But when I removed the old switch I couldn't find the 3rd (neutral) wire. Since everything was opened up, I didn't want to call around and find an electrician so I gave these guys a go. I got connected with a handyman who not only helped me find the neutral, but gave me a lesson on what wire does what ( I know what a pigtail is now). Highly recommended.

As a contractor, I think the diywithhelp site is a great tool for me to give advice to people trying to complete home improvement projects. I was really impressed with the ease of use - the scheduling is simple and the interface is intuitive. The site basically did everything for me, so all I had to do was log in and talk with the customer. I think having an expert on-hand to help with projects - whether detailed instructions, or just a pep talk and validation that you're doing things right - is great for do-it-yourselfers!
