⚠️ Avoid DLG Auto Services

⚠️ Avoid DLG Auto Services: Substandard, Surface-Level Repairs Cost Me £1,400+
I am writing this review to strongly advise other motorists—especially those referred by Churchill Insurance—to avoid DLG Auto Services.
My 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC was sent to DLG Auto Services for repairs through a claim with my insurer, Churchill. While DLG successfully completed the cosmetic, surface-level work to make the car look acceptable on the outside, their actual technical competence and attention to detail were severely lacking. They completely ignored critical internal damage.
Unaddressed Structural and Mechanical Failures:
* The Radiator & Condenser Neglected: DLG paid absolutely no attention to the radiator and condenser assembly, despite these being directly in the impact zone of the front-end damage.
* Broken Bumper Connections Left Unrepaired: All of the internal plastic bumper brackets, clips, and connection points were completely ignored. Instead of replacing these structural supports, they simply mounted the outer panels over broken internal parts.
Because of this lazy, cosmetic-only repair job, I have recently had to spend over £1,400 out of my own pocket to fix the cooling components and secure the bumper assembly correctly.
A Warning to Other Customers:
If your insurer (like Churchill or any other Direct Line Group brand) attempts to send your vehicle to DLG Auto Services, insist on choosing your own approved repairer.
DLG does not do thorough work. They patch up the exterior so the car passes a quick visual inspection, leaving you to inherit the costly mechanical consequences and safety hazards down the road. This has been an incredibly stressful, messy, and expensive ordeal.

I had my car brought there after an…auto accident

I had my car brought there after an accident. They could not get the check engine light to go off. I brought the car back four times, for a week each time. They could not figure it out and got upset and hung up on me for asking them to bring to the dealership and find out what was going on.
After that my insurance company allowed me to take the car to another repair shop. North Side Auto Body had it fixed in three days with no problems. I don't know what to say except it was the worst experience.I've ever had with any business.

The 3 star is only due to the time it…

The 3 star is only due to the time it took for my car to get repaired- 9 weeks! It was partly due to the Jaguar LR cyberattack.
The quality of the repair work was absolutely top notch. Staff were ✅ ok

Repairs made after accident

Had my car collected, repaired and returned exactly as per the information I was given. Everyone I spoke to were polite and friendly and kept me informed from start to finish. Thank you DLG for providing such an excellent service.

Like the day I collect from the showroom


My DLG experience was easy, straightforward, and without problems. I was kept informed throughout the repairs which has been completed to an amazing high standard, and ahead of schedule, I’m extremely impressed with the quality of workmanship and professionalism of DLG. They’ve repaired my vehicle to showroom appearance external and on the inside - family and friends are equally impressed.

Great staff and car back to new

Great, friendly, courteous staff. Car was collected on time. I was kept updated on repairs and as I had a hospital appointment the day it was due to be returned I was able to collect it and have it sooner to do the hospital journey. They worked with me to help and the staff particularly the man that collected the car was brilliant and extremely helpful and friendly. Car came back looking beautiful and I would recommend this company to all.
