After searching many stores to suit our specific needs we went to DM Furnishings. From the 1st visit to delivery of our furniture Darren was attentive and understood our exact requirements. His advice and assistance throughout was invaluable and prior to confirming our order visited us to ensure there would be no issues.
It was a pleasure to deal with Darren and Joe, and we recommend them.

We bought a rise and recliner chair from this company for my father in law. He could not get used to the controls as he is 84 years old and bad eye sight. He also has carers in 4 times a day and they could not get the hoisting equipment around the chair to get him to bed, toilet etc. Within 24 hours we contacted Mr Marlow of DM Furnishers Sutton In Ashfield Nottingham to collect the chair and get our money back. He would not entertain this saying that it was a bespoke chair and therefore could not be sold on. This is rubbish. The size and dimensions are for a standard rise and recliner. The only bespoke thing was that we wanted a brown leather one. Hardly bespoke. The upshot is he would not return our money even rejecting our offer of a reduced payment. Lots of talk about how his company really looks after you etc but talks cheap. When it came down to it the chair will have to be sold on ebay to recoup some of our loses. I have spent the last week phoning everyday to be told he's out or not available. BAD BAD BUSINESS. Doesn't make any sense to treat people like this when it could be resolved amicably. VERY POOR SERVICE. VERY ANGRY CUSTOMER.
