Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 114 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the service, describing it as a waste of time and money, and lacking actual medical help. Customers frequently encountered issues with staff, reporting them as rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional, with some even hanging up during consultations. The payment process was a major source of frustration, with unexpected charges, bills for missed appointments due to minor delays, and difficulties with insurance coverage. Reviewers also found customer service to be practically nonexistent, unhelpful, and slow to resolve billing disputes or provide necessary documentation. The pricing was often criticized as being too high, with some feeling they paid for services that offered no real outcome or could have been obtained for free. Conversely, a few other people also felt that some doctors were compassionate, thorough, and provided great service.

Different name . Poor poor service

After using dr on demand 3 x over 2 years and had reasonable care.
Today I attempted an appointment and after waiting 2 hours , i hung up and tried again to no avail. I called customer service and spoke to a nice gentleman that was not able to understood through his very heavy accent but managed to find out it has a different name and they don’t take medicare. There is no information on their website. Poor poor response. Will never try again . Beware do not use this company

Once great, now a money hungry platform with terrible service — beware

Years ago this was a good platform with real doctors but now it has gone downhill. They overcharge and deny overpayments even after insurance has paid despite proof via EOB and credit card receipt. The influx of nurse practitioners (no shade to them. They have their place.) I’m speaking on this platform rarely listen and just recommend OTC remedies that I could have Googled myself. Billing is a mess and they do not track payments except if you owe them. If you don’t owe them, good luck getting your money back. Lucky for me, I got my money back, but it wasn’t through them. It was through a formal dispute process over 7 months later and I’m still in the process of suing them. This company is money hungry. You have been warned.

Terrible service each time

Terrible service each time, doctors don't listen and make mistakes when writing prescriptions, so pharmacies can't fill them, but they won't fix their mistakes or refund you to make it up to you

Dont trust if they give you zero estimated cost

Honestly im in shock in the level of deception that this company engages in.

They told me ZERO would be due from me and after 5 sessions I get a huge bill they told me is my copay

They didn't bother to bill my secondary carrier.

They told me whatever my primary carrier pays is the amount due

I have screenshots for anyone who wants to see ZERO Due notices then huge bill later. SCAM

The appointment lasted 2minutes due to…

The appointment lasted 2minutes due to the med person telling me she,(PRINCESS,) was her name couldn’t help me and to go to urgent care. It was for an eye infection. I said ok and verified there would be no CHARGE! She agreed and charged me anyway.

Doctor on demand told me my insurance…

Doctor on demand told me my insurance would cover service. It was in network. Doctor on demand then refused to work with my insurance and I got stuck with a 600 dollar bill. Buyer beware. They may not take your tricare and have no problem sticking military and veterans with bills that are supposed to be covered. And instead of trying to resolve it, they will send you to collections. I had to pay to avoid losing my security clearance. Frauds!

I would give 0 stars if I could never got the prescription they said they called in and didn't get the work note. I called and was given the run around about this and told I had to wait till the Provider came back in a week. I called the state and filed a complaint, and they told me I was not the first to complain. I was also about to get my bank to charge them back and got my money back, DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!!!

Very poor service

Very poor service. Doctor was Indian & I don’t think she was even a doctor. I tried to speak as to what my condition was & she had the audacity to call me rude! & disconnected the call. Doctor was rude & refused to listen to the patient!! If you want a bandaid go to a pharmacy. Doctor on demand is a fraud! Do NOT USE doctor on demand!! They should not be practicing. They are a fraudulent organization! Shut them down!!

They charged me $170 because I logged in 5 minutes later.

I started with a therapist through my insurance. I logged in 5 minutes after my session because I got stuck in traffic and was driving. The system not only didnt let me see the therapist but I also spent untilimited amount of time on the phone and on emails and chats to get my money back and they wouldnt do it. I also cannot even email my therapist. I will cancel all future sessions and now I have to spend more time with my bank to get my money back. Embarrassing company

No customer assistance

I found the booking process with Doctors on Demand very easy and straightforward. However, I had a very poor experience when I needed the doctor’s notes to submit to my health insurance. Each of my emails took about a week to get a reply, and what should have been resolved in just a couple of days ended up taking four weeks. The customer service is practically nonexistent, which was extremely frustrating.

Inept nurse practitioners. I am a diabetic patient and running out of my essentials medications like Humalog. Gave me a very hard time time ordering refill for essential medications.

Dr On Demand is horrible

Raminder Dhesi was rude, patronizing and condescending, lecturing me about medicines and kidney dialysis as well as talking over me as I tried to explain why I was short of medicine and had three changes to my insurance .

I tried to keep the conversation light, but she consistently talked over me and made me feel like a bad commercial interrupting her movie. She ignored my comments and was straight up inconsiderate. I cannot tolerate that kind of behavior from a medical professional. It is unacceptable.

She was younger than me and treated me like a fast food customer. I get it. It’s a 15 minute session, but honestly, I felt like a nuisance to her instead of a person who deserve respect and compassion. I was trying to get med refills and for my trouble I had to pay for a rude person who treated like I knew nothing and deserved less.
