The coffees are delightful and truly live up to their description. I could clearly detect and enjoy the distinct aromas and flavors, which are far superior to those of supermarket varieties.

Lovely coffees and definitely it is what it says. I could smell and taste the different notes in the coffees, much better than the supermarket coffees.

D&H delivery day is the best day of the month! (I’ve been a customer for about 6 years now, apologies for my tardiness in writing this review.)

I’ve tried a few coffee subs, all the major ones, and nothing compares to this for me. Once a month, four random bags - four surprises - and always four amazingly different coffees. Beautifully packaged, and each roaster has its own beautiful packaging too, craft beer style. Mini artworks all four.

It would be a five star review for the coffee quality alone!

But…recently I asked for advice on upgrading from the aeropress, to which Su answered personally (and with great recommendations.). She even went above and beyond and sent some sample pre-ground to test in the new machine, after concerns about the quality of my grinder!

A very nice touch in this day and age! I highly recommend getting a D&H subscription - lovely coffee from a lovely company!

I ordered a milk jug that was out of stock everywhere else and a bag of coffee to use on the machine I received for Christmas. It arrived just 24 hours later, beautifully packaged with some additional gifts that really made my day! I’ve enjoyed reading the booklet, the jug is perfect and I’m tempted to treat myself to a subscription too. A great company who obviously take pride in what they do. Thanks Dog & Hat!

My super fine concetto filter for my aeropress arrived really quickly and was beautifully packed. Was very pleased with the coffee it produced. I preferred it to the paper filters. Richer for one. I liked the amount of pressure needed to push the coffee through. A great buy at a good price. Also a big thank you to Su who packed it, for the lovely note and gifts. I have had a rough few days and it really cheered me up. A very happy and appreciative new customer.

I've been using various coffee subscriptions for 4+ years. This is the best coffee subscription available. Why? You can try different suppliers throughout the UK and occasionally Europe at a great price. They also include a monthly newsletter and the occasional freebie. Beans tend to be medium-roasted, perfect for my taste preferences. You have the flexibility to adjust, pause, stop or increase your subscription and are quick to respond to emails.

I subscribe to their top “international roaster” service. This month the beans are overdue but the payment was taken on time. Instead of beans we got an email blaming UK Customs for the delay (surely a routine part of a monthly import business). When I politely pointed out the contrast with the non-delay of taking payment for the still-awaited coffee, they responded by immediately cancelling my subscription!

They are just brilliant. I spent quite some time to find this type of coffee subscription which sends a selection of bags from different roasters rather than always from the same one.
It's obvious what a lovely bunch of people are running this business - they write nice emails, they write nice monthly newsletters (also in hardcopy format popped into your subscription box!) and they just in general take great care of selecting good coffees and equipment. love them!

The coffee Dog and Hat provide through their subscriptions is exceptional . It is great to get 4 different coffees and the accompanying booklet is really well put together and informative.
I have tried lots of similar services - this one is the best I have found by a country mile.

I don't honestly know what I'd do without my dog and hat order every month. I've had various coffee subs over the years but they are all very much the same, dog and hat you're getting something different every month, and You've total control too. Even if you fancy getting one bag of decaf and one espresso, just email the lovely people over there and they get it arranged straight away. Well worth it.

We’ve been using Dog and Hat now for a few years and are very happy with the coffee they provide and their service. What I like about them is that they allow us to not only try different coffees but also try different roasters.

As coffee enthusiast Dog and Hat is great way to explore the passion. It’s very easy to set up, you set what kind and characteristics and types you like. Once set the fun starts these guys trawl through the roasters and cherry pick (🤓) the good stuff. You then get bags of fresh premium quality beans sent out for you to enjoy every month, plus you can increase / decrease or pause your subscription at any point. Any changes to be made are easy with a bonus that customer service is excellent. I was recommended this service and I have not looked back, I have had the opportunity to try roasts i otherwise would have never heard of let alone been able to try and use. I would now be one of the people who would recommend giving it a try. Thanks guys can’t wait for more.

I love Dog & Hat. I’ve had the sub for years now and I still look forward to the delivery each month. The fun of trying four new and high quality coffees each month hasn’t worn off. And, on the odd occasion I’ve had to contact Dog & Hat the service is amazing. So fast and always helpful. Highly recommend!

Lovely to get a great selection of coffees each month. I love to taste the differences between the coffees, and appreciate the variety of nuances to the flavours. Service is great too!
