Our dog fence and the 2 collars we bought are all working well after more than 3 years. One of our dogs, who used to escape frequently has not escaped since the fence was put in. Recently we bought mew collars and batteries. They were delivered promptly.

Very quick turnaround for new battery for collar which I’m very grateful for. Postage at £3.50 has a bit of a premium built into it for such a little battery though.

Wouldn’t be without the dog fence - I ordered a replacement collar - they obviously checked before sending, realised I had ordered the wrong one, so contacted me to tell me the right one to order, which then arrived next day .

Had our cat fence installed almost 6 months ago after our young cat got out of our garden and completely disappeared for a day, leaving us worried sick what might have happened. Installation and initial training were very well done, everyone I spoke to very friendly and helpful and we are very happy with the system, the cat has spent every day this summer happily playing in the garden and safe from the road. For a larger garden it was much more cost effective than the physical fence options and aesthetically far better.

Very happy with this system. Keeps dogs safe from running into lane. They learned how to use it very quickly. Easy to repair too when accidentally cut by over keen spade.

When i got my kitten, I wanted to keep him as an indoor cat as I was worried about the danger of the roads and also about him being taken by someone. However I soon realised that he wanted to be outdoors and he often cried to go out. I tried letting him out unsupervised but he went missing for a few hours and that caused so much heartbreak. After that he was able to be in the garden if supervised or in a secure tent, but he still wanted to be out for longer. I looked at the alternatives and it came down to either rolling poles set up on the existing fencing or the electronic cat fence. I got quotes for both and the nature of the trees and plants in our garden meant that the rolling poles may have been difficult to maintain once installed. There was a price difference too and the electronic cat fence was considerably cheaper. I wasn't expecting that!
One of the best features is that you can hardly notice the wiring in the garden. The other important thing to note is that the cat is trained to avoid going to places when they hear the beep. My cat is very persistent and i could envisage him trying to jump the fence with the poles, however with the electronic fence, it didn't take long at all for the cat to know where he could and couldn't go. Even with the temptation of the squirrels sitting on the fence poles, as soon as he hears the beep he runs off and finds a spot to watch them from a safe distance. I've had the system for 3 weeks now and I've got peace of mind that the cat is still in the garden and hasn't ventured into the other gardens or garages. He's so much happier too and loves being outside.
The team have been great and have answered all my questions. I contacted them recently about getting a catflap fitted and they provided me with invaluable advice. I'm really glad that I had the fence installed and would recommend it to anyone who wants to let their cat have freedom with safe boundaries!

Our rescue dog, Reggie, destroyed not only the plants in our pond but the whole liner!

Having searched for solutions we found Dogfence and phoned with some questions – all answered clearly and helpful advice given.

We ordered the fence and installed it round the pond, which has now been relined and restocked, and Reggie has not ventured anywhere near it since!

We also bought an indoor unit and have used this both in and outside (under a cover). Placed by the garden table with flags so we could eat in peace…. He now knows that the sofa is out of bounds too.

I am delighted with the difference the Catfence has made to our lives. Our cat Boo rocks his snazzy collar and walks around boldly and happily with his tail up wherever he goes. He is safe and stays out from breakfast to bed time, popping in from time to time, and also jumping out on us for a tummy tickle when we pass by a bush. CatFence/Dog Fence were kind and efficient at the training and installation and my only wish is that we had done this years ago. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them as their product is great and their customer care is always spot on and thorough. Thank goodness we did it!

We used this for our 2 cats, we installed it ourselves which was simple and then trained our 2 kittens. The customer support was brilliant, very informative and supportive. Our 2 cats now have the whole of our garden to roam about in and we know they are safe. Very good compromise for the cat and us.
