BIG MISTAKE: I thought that since Migros was a…

I thought that since Migros was a really established brand I could totally trust the online shop: big mistake. I ordered a Karchär that should have been delivered within 24 hrs , 5 days later the item still has not arrived and on the tracking system the order is still simply recorded (it has not even been picked up by the delivering company) I called the customer service several times (number with a tax surcharge!) to cancel the order since I now bought the Karchär in another shop, but they tell me I cannot cancel the oder because it has left (although I an clearly see that it has not!). If I want to be reimbursed I will have to wait until it comes and then send it back at my own costs.

I should have checked the reviews first

I've ordered a heavily discounted item at doitgarden, and also some accessories on another shop.

It took them almost 2 working days to cancel the order - by that time the other shop had delivered the accessories I now will have to return on my own expenses.

Not a serious behaviour in my opinion, errors can happen, but at least they should be handle quickly or compensated. All they offered was a 20% discount which wasn't even enough to match the price for the same article on other shops.
