The app is useless

The app is useless. Have to re-enter your address every order even with an account. Great pizza, great people, worthless app that has no feedback option built in. It's 2021 get ur app together ffs.

Bunch of thieves.......with some false advertising

Ordered a thin and crispy Premium BBQ Chicken & Rasher Bacon last night. Sounded delish and the picture looked really nice with oodles of topping. Well!! The base was great. As for the topping, I had 6 pieces of bacon, couldn't really see the chook without my glasses on and I'm not sure where the onion was hiding. $25.25 was the cost!! Blatant thievery with false advertising.

Worst customer service in the world

Worst customer service in the world - you will be conned
My wife received a voucher for a free pizza as a result of a late delivery from the Heidelberg store. Last Sunday my wife phoned the Heidelberg to order the free pizza and she was told that because it is a voucher the order needed to be done over the internet. My wife then ordered over the internet.

When I arrived at the store I asked for my pizza and was told the order had not arrived. I explained that we had placed an order under my wife's name, I have the voucher in my hand and would like my pizza. They told me no order, no pizza and suggested I replace the order using my phone. I showed them all I had was an old style Nokia, my work IPhone was charging at home.

The staff member then began suggesting my wife ordered the pizza from another store so I read out the address of the store my wife ordered from. My wife had sent me a text of the address to avoid any confusion.

At this stage the staff, without saying anything, just walked away and began making pizzas for other orders.

At this point I was becoming annoyed so I raised my voice and made it clear I would like my pizza, that children were waiting for me at home and my wife was preparing a meal in conjunction with the pizza order. A short time later a staff member returned and put my order through the register and then said that will be $18 something for the pizza. At this stage I was becoming flabbergasted.

I reiterated I have a voucher for a free pizza that expires today so can't be used later in the week, I only came to Dominos because of the free pizza and I would like my pizza. Without saying anything the guy just walked off and began working on making pizzas for other people.

At this stage I turned to another customer and asked if there was something wrong with me or am I right in becoming very frustrated. The customer smiled and said you are right to be very frustrated.

Again I raised my voice and said I am not going home to my wife without our pizza. I would like my pizza.

Shortly after another staff member came to counter and said he would sort out the problem. He placed the order and told me to pay $18 something. At this stage I was again amazed, I expressed my frustration and at this point another staff member who heard my order spoke up and said my order was sitting in some queue behind the scenes and they hadn't released it for the timer to start.

It appears that Domino's have all sorts of guarantee's on time delivery but the system is illegal and corrupt because they can start the timer well after the order has been placed. The reason for all the angst and the extended delays is because my wife placed the order under my name and not hers. When a customer comes into the store they ask for the persons name and then release the order and start the timer. They didn't release my order because I gave them my wife's name and they couldn't recognise the order amongst all the orders sitting in the dodgy queue where the timer doesn't begin.

This is misleading and deceptive conduct, amongst many other things and I would encourage customers to report this to ASIC or Consumer Affairs.

I placed a large party order (internet order 8b8e6f9d-fd3e-4288-96eb-6d955730474b )

I placed a large party order, it was accepted and my card charged. I received a confirmation email and the online tracker showed the item was cooking and ready for delivery at the time requested. 25 minutes after it was due to arrive I called and asked where my order was, I was informed my order was cancelled due to the amount ($130) as it was considered suspicious. Supposedly tried to call my home phone, which i did not hear due to a large group of children playing. I was told I needed to pay in full again (No offer of compensation) and the order would be another 30+ minutes (they had already charged me $130+ for the original order and wanted me to pay again). No explanation as to why the order was accepted and why the online tracker showed the order as being cooked and ready for delivery if large orders are considered suspicious.

After this I made an official complaint and received a response saying " sorry we will pass it on to the managers". No one ever got in touch again, no compensation due to us having no food at our party ( no money to buy more pizzas as they wanted me to pay again and it would have arrived 1+ hour late). Also no explanation regarding the confirmation email and tracker not reflecting an issue. I will never order dominos again, absolutely unacceptable. First birthday party since lockdown ended and you let us down massively. Refund arrived 1 week later for the order they cancelled.

Misleading at best... Liars at worst

Dominos has a 20 minute guarantee for $3.

When you are buying your pizza it says:
"IF WE DON'T ARRIVE ON TIME YOU'll GET A FREE PIZZA VOUCHER* EMAILED TO YOUR EMAIL"

- So I paid. I had 5 kids here and wanted it fast.
- I live less than 2k from the local Dominos
- It did not turn up on time.
- They said because of weather conditions - it was raining mildly and I live just down the road

I got my 'free' pizza voucher.

But...

- I can’t use that voucher to get a pizza delivered on it’s own as you have to spend a minimum amount for free delivery
- And your free voucher has no $ value so I can’t have it delivered
- So I would have to pay for more pizzas in order to have my free one delivered
- So I tried to add more pizzas which did not work as it removed the free pizza from the free pizza voucher

So I complained and got an auto-response:

"Thank you for providing your feedback. Domino’s has a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and will address your feedback within two business days."

Really? 100% satisfaction guarantee. Another lie.

The next response was the usual "it's in the TCs"

"As per the T&Cs; we do require a minimum order amount for delivery. This is to cater for the extra labour charges required for delivery. see T&Cs provided below. "

So I replied with a few points:

There is no link to your TCs
- So at the time of purchase and wanting a 20 minute guaranteed delivery you expect me to:
- Open a new tab
- Go to Dominos
- Then find the TCs
- To find I have to Scroll down to the bottom of the page
- Then go to the TCs page
- Then scroll down to find the TCs that relate to the guarantee
- Read them in detail
- Then read the part that says I need to order with a minimum delivery fee
- AND make a connection that this means my free pizza is only delivered if I order more pizzas!!!!
- Then return to the checkout and finish my order

They have responded only to say it is in the TCs.

And have ignored the facts that:
- It is misleading
- Difficult to find the TCs
- That the free pizza is not free as I have to pay more to claim it online
- That they do not have a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee

And now they will not respond at all.

And I won't even bother to rate the food.

Hair In Pizza

I ordered a pizza from local outlet on 4 April. I happily paid 15% loading as it was a Sunday. I also rounded up for charity and gave the delivery driver $2 for his troubles. Started to tuck into pizza and my son found a large hair baked in one of the slices. Binned the rest. Gave them a poor score on their app and they contacted me a few days later, offering a few freebies. HOWEVER, when you read the fine print to get the freebies it says:

"Terms: Voucher Code valid for one use only and until the expiry date stated in this Voucher. Must only be redeemed online at dominos.com.au or via the Domino’s iPhone, iPad, or Android App at participating stores only. Not valid for redemption via phone orders or orders made in-store. Not transferable or redeemable for cash. A surcharge applies to upgrade to premium pizzas, half ‘n’ half, additional toppings, indulgent crusts, and promotional products. Minimum order amount for delivery $22"

I wrote back to them telling them I just wanted a replacement pizza, the base price being $15 and advised I would NOT spend another $22 with them in order to get my $15 pizza. They never wrote back, so I contacted them again to advise I was going to leave a bad review. NEVER HEARD BACK.

This is an out & out con. Why should I have to pay another $22 to get my $15 replacement pizza. this is a really bad policy they have and I am no longer going to use them and will continue to post negative reviews where ever I can.

DO NOT USE DOMINO'S - THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF

This was terrible...

Asked for a sundae after being told the thick shake machine was broken. The guy said sundaes were available. A minute later he came back and gave me a minuscule cup of mouse without any explanation. I assumed it was an extra to go with the sundae, waited around 10 mins before another guy came and told me that they don’t make sundaes. I paid $5 for a tiny cup of mousse which was melted by the time I realised that was all I was getting. Inconclusion terrible customer service

Ordered early afternoon for 6.45pm

Ordered early afternoon for 6.45pm, arrived at 7.15pm, bit burned around the edges, and looks as though the pizza's have shrunk in size.
Usually I find Dominos quite good on delivery, and nice pizza's, not this time however. Hope they improve next time.

TERRIBLE SERVICE AT DOMINOS PIZZA NEDLANDS

If I could give Domino's Pizza Nedlands less than ZERO, I would !

Reading the REVIEWS on google reviews over the last 3 months (AT LEAST), I can see that the majority of customers have COMPLAINED ABOUT RUDE WORKERS AT THIS SHOP - and till now, nothing has changed. And judging by the "remedial action?" of THE OWNER/S in response to the customer complaints, it is CLEAR that they do not give a f... damn about their customers. THEREFORE, I suggest that we customers TOTALLY BOYCOTT THIS SHOP TO CLOSE IT DOWN, and if we really boycott, IT WILL CLOSE DOWN and hopefully will then be replaced by a NEW SHOP & OWNER that UNDERSTAND the meaning of RESPECTFUL service to its customers and the community (CUSTOMERS CAN INDEED BE KING IF THEY WANT TO BE !). It's the customers that maketh the shop, not vice versa.

Here is my very bad experience.

Today, Sunday, 3 Jan 2010, at abt 6.45 pm, I went to pick up the pizza my wife had ordered online, mobile for our kids. The person there (a white-skinned female (owner/s WILL know who I'm talking about) - RELAX! if she had been brown-skinned, I'd say that too - no racism from me, just like to be totally FACTFUL !), the only person it appeared in the shop, was EXTREMELY RUDE & LOOKED DISINTERESTED from the start. There were only 2 orders on the screen and both marked "ready". She asked "under what name ?" I gave the name. She said no such name. I then said it had pineapple topping in it and if she could check the 2 orders that were ready for pickup. Still she said "what name?" I then said I will go back to the car and get the order on my wife's mobile. I returned and gave her the mobile with the order showing. Still she said "what name?". I became angry (surprise ! surprise!!). She then walked away to the stove to make another pizza. By this time, I had had enough. I exploded with expletives and stormed out - vowing NEVER TO RETURN AGAIN.

I call on all customers who, like me, believe CUSTOMERS DESERVE TO BE TREATED BETTER ... to TOTALLY BOYCOTT DOMINO'S PIZZA NEDLANDS until a CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP - and show the current owner/s the true meaning of REAL CUSTOMER POWER - and may the force be with customers !!

Dominos 'large' pizzas are now only 22 cm

I contacted Dominos customer support before writing this review and was provided a generic corporate response. "If you wish to have a larger size, we do have the XL range and New Yorker range."

In other words, pay 20-50% more to get what you used to get. Between price increases, reduced quality of ingredients, and now smaller pizzas you have to wonder how many more corners Dominos could possibly cut.

I'll never order from this company again.

Double charge and good luck with the refund !

They charged me twice in the Strathfield store and even though I showed them my bank statement they said the first eftpos payment did not go through. They made me pay second time to get my pizza.

The real frustration for me is that I have been trying to chase the refund for over a week now and there is ;

1. No active customer service phone service atm (maybe due to Covid ?) and the answering machine timings message is incorrect

2. I contacted them via fb messenger and have been told that someone will contact me (regional manager ) in next 24hrs

3. It has now been over a week and I keep getting told that someone will contact me

4. Till date no refund is received and they keep telling me new dates etc

5. It might be easier for me to dispute the transaction via my bank now.

How can they claim 100 satisfaction guarantee when this is how they treat there customers

Plus is my opinion the pizza quality and toppings have gotten worse over recent years

Much better options out there in never going back to Dominos again
