The casino started off okay but I deposited 500gbp using apple pay, was taken to a third party external payment site PalWallet (which I didn’t know would happen) and didn’t receive it. I then contacted support and they said it should take 3 working days, which then changed to no maximum timeframe and possibly 6 months to sort out. I have had to charge back this payment to my bank in the hope I can recover my funds. Not good enough. I also requested a full list of deposit transactions for my account after I closed it which the casino refused to send.

The company is such an intelegent scam. You will win a small amount of money maybe £300 eventually. If you then choose to withdraw the winnings and continue playing you normally start to win a lot. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience has been so frustrating and poorly handled that I feel it’s important to share the full timeline so others are aware.

On 20 February, I made a deposit of £27.02 (€30.89) via card. The payment was processed through a third-party gateway, where I received an “internal error” message immediately after payment. Despite this, the funds were successfully deducted from my bank account and later marked as a completed transaction, not pending.

I contacted support shortly after, and was told:

“If you do not receive your deposit by Monday, please contact us and we will initiate an investigation.”

I waited as instructed. The deposit never arrived.

When I followed up, I was repeatedly told:

“Some transfers may require manual intervention… please wait.”

I was then explicitly told the issue would be resolved within:

“three business days”

This did not happen.

Over the following weeks, I:

Contacted support multiple times via live chat and email
Provided full transaction details
Supplied screenshots of the error Submitted an official bank statement showing the completed payment

Despite fully cooperating, I continued to receive the same generic responses:

“The case is under investigation”
“Please wait patiently”
“Your case has been prioritised”

At one point, I was even told:

“The funds have not actually been debited from your bank account”

This was completely incorrect, as I had already provided proof that the transaction was completed and the money had left my account.

After further escalation, I was told:

“There is no maximum timeframe for cases like this”

This directly contradicted the earlier statement that the issue would take **three business days**, which I had relied on.

Weeks later, I am still being told:

“We are conducting a thorough investigation”
“You will be notified once we have a definitive answer”

At no point have I been given:

A clear explanation of where the funds are
Confirmation of whether the payment was located
Any realistic timeframe for resolution

This has now been ongoing for several weeks, over a relatively small deposit, which should be a straightforward issue to trace.

The entire experience has included the following:

Lack of transparency
Conflicting information from staff
Repeated delays with no meaningful updates
Poor communication from the payments team

From my perspective, I have paid £27.02 and received nothing in return, which is extremely concerning. It genuinely feels as though my money has been taken without any proper accountability or resolution.

I have kept full records of all emails, chat transcripts, and transaction proof, and have now had to escalate the matter through my bank due to the lack of resolution.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this platform. If something goes wrong with your payment, be prepared for a long, unclear, and frustrating process with little accountability or action.

This site is a scam, do not be deceived by the high rating! They can block you anytime they want especially if your account has money. They limit your access to certain games to bet on especially when you are inclined to win on those ( i have compared my view of their games to my friends view and i see that my friends has selections of games that i could not find in mine) also they can just close your account anytime, without any reason

Please read the reviews carefully. It's obvious the positive reviews are fake given the clean, vague writing style (almost childish) tone. Whereas the negative reviews have detail that Donbet then reply to as they know it's impacting them.

Donbet claim they are separate from Velobet. I have an issue with both casinos. Velobet offered me a £2k goodwill gesture to drop my case against them. Then hilariously a few weeks later, they accidentally emailed me via Donbet and my complaint there encouraging me to accept the previously offered £2k goodwill gesture they sent.

This was clearly an error their team made (clearly the same team work at Donbet as do at Velobet as the emails and website are identical) as they insist Donbet/Velobet are independent of each other.

Not true. They bend the rules to fully suit their whim.

They owe me £25k winnings they are still refusing to pay because I share the same IP with my husband who used their site previously. My same husband who self-excluded himself from Donbet and then lost around £40k on Velobet via multiple accounts (they are happy to take losses on duplicate accounts but not the moment you win) and they say because Donbet/Velobet aren't connected, they didn't hold up the self exclusion he had put on.

They will not pay you. They will always find a way to not do it. And because they have no license (we welcome Donbet to share details of their license in their review) you have no recourse but long and slow legal route.
