I had looked into several property management software options, and each one seemed to be missing something. I started to think that finding the right platform was going to be nearly impossible. I was pretty bummed. Then a friend recommended DoorLoop. When he explained the platform it sounded too good to be true...but it wasn't
I especially love the accounting capabilities. I no longer have to switch back and forth between my property management software and my accounting software which has been a huge time saver.
The customer service has also been incredible. They’re always quick to respond, consistently helpful, and willing to troubleshoot any issue that comes up.

Their integration with intuit quickbooks made me lose all data, i've been with them for like 2 months, 3 days ago i tried to integrate my accounting with quickbooks and lost everything, tried to send various emails and calls but no one is answering

A user friendly software. We switched from another app to DoorLoop due to the growth in business. We think the overall experience is good so far.
This company's payment system is seriously flawed. They withdraw money from your bank account, and it shows as posted – meaning the funds are gone from your control. Yet, it takes an additional 3-5 days for the payment to finally show up on DoorLoop as received. This deliberate delay meant I couldn't move in on the date of my contract/lease because the payment wasn't recognized, even though the money had already left my account. This practice seems to allow them to unfairly hold onto funds, potentially accruing significant interest, while directly preventing tenants from fulfilling their lease obligations.

The company contacted me, and I explained my situation. They confirmed that this is the way it is, and there’s nothing they can do about it. However, instead of offering a resolution, they had the audacity to ask me to remove my review. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

i was excited to hire this company. unfortunately, there is no way to resolve any issue. the staff seems to imagine the world is made up of of young techies and unwilling to provide customer service to help tenants who are not experts with using an online platform. there is no phone number and the company did not respond to chat or email. this lack of customer service counters the way i handle my tenants. i had to cancel it after one month.

Property management went to using this instead of checks. Thought it would be more simple and quick and i would.be able to make sure my rent was paid on time using my phone no matter where is was. First month payment went fine. When I went to pay the following month I couldn't sign in. Couldn't even get to change password since it's comes up with error message that it doesn't exist. Now 4 days into the next month I get a message saying that my payment is late even though some how I don't exist in the system and customer service doesn't seem to exist to help solve the problem. Just talk to the robot.

Terrible, one of the worst UI/UX experiences I’ve encountered in a property management platform. The system is unnecessarily complex for simple tasks like managing leases and tenants. Hidden fees and surprise charges only add to the frustration. Strongly recommend staying away.

I've been a customer for more than a year now. Whenever there is a problem, you can only communicate via the portal. I've had a problem for 3 days and have communicated with several customer service representatives via the portal. The issue is not resolved, and I've asked to have the issue elevated to management and nothing. I called the listed customer service number, but it cut you off and sent a text putting you back thru to the portal.
The customer service is atrocious.

Do not use DoorLoop. Their web services are buggy at critical points which can cause huge problems, and they're stupidly and deceptively hard to get a hold of to deal with it. It's a poorly run, janky operation for a service whose job is to make things smoother.
I tried to get an application through a twice. Both times, the website bugged out and froze, and I needed to "save and continue later". This broke the form so I couldn't get past the first page, on any browser. Because this screwup will likely lose me the room, I've tried to contact them, through the renter and myself. The only ways to "contact" them are basically fake: the call didn't go through for the US number, and the toll-free number just hangs up and texts you a link to the website. The website has a "send us a message" feature which is just a chatbot with a flowchart which didn't allow for my problem. Every path on the flowchart just leads you to a generic FAQ link/text. Besides this, they offer no support on the tenant side.

I invested in this software for my property management division and feel that after nearly one year of use, it was not wise to do. I'm someone who loves technology, but learning this system has been extremely challenging. There's room for improvement with onboarding, live customer service, ease of navigating through the system, etc. Although I'm going to select the date for my most recent complaint, the issues have been ongoing.
This is a branded interface that forces you to either pay 3.75% fee on every single months rent, or, link your bank account with PLAID, and still be forced to pay $2 for every payment. There is no way around this. Landlords - your tenants will move out (I am!). Tenants, your landlord does not have the right to force you to pay a fee every time you pay your rent.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the Door Loop software after using it for several months. Our initial excitement based on the demos has been replaced with frustration due to the lack of functionality and support.
The software falls far short of our expectations. The promised benefits of updated software are non-existent, and the overall experience is clunky and time-consuming. The lack of a support phone number and the reliance on unhelpful chat support only exacerbates the issue.
Furthermore, the training provided was inadequate, focusing solely on tenant payments and neglecting our specific needs. The removal of the account manager role has left us without a dedicated point of contact.
The numerous issues with reporting, data entry, and the lack of integration with financial processes have made Door Loop a hindrance rather than a help. The focus on AI for the knowledge base instead of improving the actual program is baffling.
We were expecting a comprehensive solution that would streamline our operations, but Door Loop has failed to deliver on its promises. The lack of support, inadequate training, and the software's shortcomings have resulted in a significant waste of time and resources.
UPDATE- in response to DoorLoop response. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the response I received. Why did I need to write a bad review in order to be assigned an account manager? I believe this practice should not be standard for any client.
Additionally, I am disappointed by the lack of a readily available support phone number. A secure system where customers can request a callback within their active account would greatly improve the support experience.
Customer support is an essential aspect of any service, and I urge you to address these concerns.
