I'm still super happy with my Doppio bike! My battery got stolen and the insurance did not cover all my costs. Doppio was so kind to compensate the difference.

After researching fat bike options, I decided to go with a Doppio. The sales staff at the shop were super helpful. I even ran into the owner who took the time to tell me more about the bikes and offer suggestions. I've now had my bike for a few weeks and it has been amazing. The negative review seem very suspicious given my experience.

Professional, collaborative and super service

The E-bike is very cool and the battery lasts longer than expected which is very helpful.
The design is very nice too and it feels safe to ride, in solo.
HOWEVER, despite being sold as a "Doppio" for 2 people, the second person sitting behind will have a very painful experience on every tiny bump you'll ride into.
For a bike designed for 2 people, at least they'd need to install some suspensions on the rear, it is way too hard and painful even running over the smallest hole or bump on the bike line or street.
When I tried sliding a bit on the rear side of the seat by myself, I immediately realized it hurt a lot and got quite disappointed as it's really controversial!
When I suggested it as an "absolutely necessary improvement" to the shop assistant after the purchase I got the answer "I know, but it's the way it is".

Very fast help with a disconnected plug! Could drive within the hour again. That's the way they do it!

I am really pleased with the service, obviously with the doppio bicycles in terms of performance, resistance and safety, an experience that my wife and I enjoy in terms of transportation and work tool in our day-to-day life, it is not just reading it, it is living it with facts, those who want to live from the doppio experience, dare and you will see what I say and recommend. thank you.

We were looking for an electric bike with a suitable buddy seat so that our oldest son can bring his smaller handicapped brother to school. The Doppio bike is by far the safest and better build fat bike on the market so we informed with Peter and his team. They understood our wishes immediately and helped us tremendously. We are now the proud owners of the Back-to-School Doppio bike and both our sons love it!!

Galith helped me today with changing the alarm battery of my bike. I have gone 2250km in 6 months (yes I travel far and wide numerous times around Ams). The bike is still fully intact after one service. I am very happy being a former VanMoof customer, I do not regret my switch to Doppio!!

100% recommended! The doppio is an amazing bike, powerful and comfortable like no other two-seat bike. The latest version is even more powerful than the v3 and with a lighter battery. Besides the product itself, the support service is excellent and they truly care about the happiness of their customer. A couple of days ago I wrote to the support team and I asked them for an on-site check up. Because the first appointment was not earlier than in a week and I needed my bike fully operational immediately they arranged a special on-site appointment for me and I was extremely surprised when the person who came to my house was actually the owner and founder Peter Eiselin! He was super kind and did not even charge me for the check. An amazing experience!

It has been only a couple of weeks but I am very happy to have it! It is comfortable, efficient and fun (for 2!). I had a small issue with the bike, but they solved in a second! Great bike, great service.

What's better than a Doppio? Two Doppios. My wife and I love our Doppio bikes. Like many others around the world, we bought our bikes a few months into the pandemic in July 2020. In short they are robust, fun and stylish.
Aside from those eye-catching looks the Doppio is a very capable fat tyre e-bike that: makes allowance for carrying a passenger, provides extra safety (you can get your feet on the ground easily), and stability (the fat tyres help). These attributes make these bikes very suitable steeds for people of all riding abilities (from newbies to experienced riders). It's the kind of bike that will get people out of polluting cars and germ-infested trams. In other words, perfect for commuting through Amsterdam safely and comfortably. I saw this bike for the first time when I went on a houseboat holiday in Amsterdam with my wife in 2020. I immediately googled this bike brand on the internet and was in the Doppio showroom the next day.

We immediately had a trusting conversation with MAAIKE, our cool consultant. After the test drive and a night of deliberation, I decided on the Doppio Classico - Grijs with the large Accu 840Wh. Add a few extras and off you go.

Now the special:
I was the first owner of this Doppio from Germany since September 10th, 2020. We managed to hand it over at the German/Dutch border. Because of Corona, the handover worked very well. Thanks again for that.
First inspection at 600km went very well. The staff there was also super nice and friendly. During that time I was able to get a loan double and drove around Amsterdam for half a day.

With my big Accu 840Wh I easily reached a range of 200km in the summer. Proud achievement.
The odometer now has over 2100 km and it's still a lot of fun to drive.
Here in the country, driving with this Doppio, getting a lot of strange looks, that's awesome. Really cool.
A child called once, a pedal moped is coming.

Hair in the wind and go! What a pleasure to be on the Doppio. Very happy with my purchase. I take my daughter to school with me and we enjoy the ride every time. And it is so beautiful. Happier than happy!

We have our Doppio for almost 6 moths now and what a ride!! This bike is really a joy to ride, especially when you are with somebody because yess it's true and with no doubt double the fun!!

We bought the medium version that will say your battery will less longer. I have to admit that we are more than happy with the range, even with somebody at the back you can ride with ease a 120 km if you do a little effort.

About the gear that's delivered with the bike like the chain, shifters (gear shifters), hydraulic brakes and the lights they work well and so far we don't have any problems with it. We did ride hour Doppio a 550 km so far with the extremely comfortable saddle. The display is big, clear in color and you can see with ease whats happening, for example you can see when the battery is using power or not.

The service is fantastic, a friendly team and a very helpful owner. The owner how was helping us did take his time to lissen what we wanted, advising us in a professional way where needed. We had right a way a good feeling about the company, the team behind it and of course the bike itself.

About the bike itself yes it rides really wonderful, it's quick and a very nice transport to have in Amsterdam. Indeed people are asking about the bike because it's a cool bike to see and different from the rest. We don't have any regret that we bought the bike, no on the contrary regret that we bought the bike not sooner!!

So try it for your self, test ride the bike and experience double the fun!!

I only have my doppio for two months now but very happy with. I customized the bike, looks very cool! It also is a very smooth ride. We love to ride the doppio in the city together. Happy!

I have been riding my Doppio bike for over a year now and every time it's a joy. Rain or shine, short distance or for a longer distance, it's always fun to ride it. When you stop at the traffic light there are always other people asking about the bike as it looks cool. And the buddy seat is also a really nice feature as it's easy to take someone with you.
