We needed a low cost, simple signage software, and we have found it! I have worked with the designer over there for tech support from time to time and they have been very helpful. I recommend this product to anyone!

The day I started to install my Dopublicity menu board I had to call customer service three times, and every time someone answered right away. Couldn't believe it. The customer service rep was very polite, very knowledgeable and walked me right through the steps. Even had a good sense of humor, I liked that part. I would recommend Dopublicity to anyone out there wanting to do electronic signage for their business.

DoPublicity offers a good solution to digital signage for the money but could use a few improvements. My system runs fine for about a month or so then tends to hang on news feeds, weather etc. till I have to stop and re-run, or re-boot.
Graphic images on news could be improved. Some are nearly impossible to make out. Templates are o.k., some don't load.
A few more options besides weather,news, etc, needed maybe a weather map, ticker etc. to make it more robust.

My biggest gripe in general is that I seem to be one of the few remaining "old school" business owners. To me, success is not based on how much, how fast, how far a business can grow. I was brought up to believe in what you do, share as much knowledge as possible with those who are important to you (like your trusted employees and especially your clients), and grow your business with communication and honest feedback. We all have seen a decline in the response time from our vendors. Some don't even have phone numbers for communication, only email addresses with a promise of someone getting back to you within days. DoPublicity has restored my faith that there are still others out there who "do the right thing". I have had many questions, that were all answered in a timely, intelligent, patient manner. Most of those issues were resolved through conversation, where one answer can lead to another question, which is then quickly answered. And, most of my concerns or issues were "fixed" with something that was already in place, I was just overlooking the solution. I don't care for the bells and whistles, and false promises of corporations that really don't care about you, they only want your $. I do want solid, basic, professional service. I have found DoPublicity to be a company that is reliable, responsive, and well-organized as to anticipate their client's needs which is a welcomed change to most of what is out there. I look forward to continuing and growing my business with the support of DoPublicity. I know they are "only a vendor" to my business, but they feel like an active participant. Kudos to them, for that.

Works wonderfully. Some connectivity issues, and the templates, while varied, are still mostly the same thing in a different color. Over all, very pleased with this device and program. And it looks classy in our Concession building. Much better than the old 'peg board' style menu.

When I began my tenure, I inherited doPublicity as part of my job responsibilities. Knowing what I know now, I would not have selected them to service our signage needs.

DoPublicity is ok as long as there are no problems. They have many templates to choose from, which makes it easy to update. The character limits need to be increased, which seem to vary depending on the template you choose. Other than that, it's a simple system to use. However, once there is a problem, that's when you find out the subpar service they provide. First, forget email communication. I've never received a response back. Second, their IT help (seems to be one person) was not the best. He seems nice however, when you call to get help, no one answers. If he's the only one, that might be why he doesn't answer. If you leave a time frame to call back, which is usually the considerate thing to do so the person will know when you are available, he always called after that time. Basically, I got the overall impression that he waited until he thought you were gone for the day so he would miss you (thus playing phone tag) and no one could say he did not call back. Our agency is on the east coast and doPublicity is on the west coast, which would not have been so bad if we could have gotten better IT help.

After a lot of work trying to get this system operational again, it worked for a couple of days and then it conked out again. Instead of going through doPublicity's IT headache again, we have a new digital signage vendor.

Good-bye doPublicity. We will not renew next year.

We purchased two licenses and devices to display information at our local regional airport. Easy to use, technical support was easy to contact for a quick question, the software and hardware work, and it's one-half the cost or less of other similar solutions.

If all continues to go well, we plan to expand the number of devices we currently use.

I've used the Dopublicity media players for my menu boards for almost 2 years. I find it to be a good value, easy to set-up and maintain. I'd recommend it to anyone looking an affordable saas signage solution.

Easy to use system which allows you to customize your signage for your particular business needs. Great customer support. Easy to maneuver thru the multiple templates. We're very happy with doPublicity in our restaurant.

doPublicity signage was the perfect fit for our non-profit member center! The templates are easy to design and update and you can add your own custom signage using various media. I love that it all can be done remotely!

DoPublicity sells you a small Android based media player that plugs into the HDMI port of your TV, and converts it to a cloud based advertising display. WiFi and set up is pretty easy, although they don't tell you need to upgrade the android device to the latest version of the DoPublicity app *before* registering the license, or things don't work. You then upload content to their web site where it then downloads to the Android device for playback. The internet based GUI allows you to schedule content per day or hour, and is easy to use. The features here are also my biggest complaint. First, there are no transition effects so you are basically flipping frames with no way to grab attention when they change. Next, there's no way to schedule the order of content in a presentation. Next, you can't just update a frame, but need to delete and re-add it to the entire presentation if you have one little change. Last, if you make a change you have to either reboot the unit, or wait up to an hour for the refresh. GUI needs a way to tell the media player to force a refresh. Tech support is otherwise pretty good. Decent product, but in a very competitive space and lacks more desireable display features.

I would have loved to give this a 5 star review. When the system works it is simple to install and worry free. But when there are problems with something, technical support is a nightmare. As business owners, we know when the customer walks out the door, we have lost revenue. We need to solve problems quickly. While the tech support person is mostly personable, being able to reach him is often difficult. There is also things the box touts the hardware and software can do that is just not working yet.
Fix the tech support issue and I will change my review to 5 stars.

Great product and great team to work with.

We're very happy with Doduplicity /Software is user friendly, and it is a great quality technology. I've already recommended it to several of my partners. Sign up with them you'll not regret it.

The program is easy to use, content is usually uploaded without delay as with other programs. Numbering slides is simple, choice of templates abundant. Overall it is a quick and easy program.

Im opening a sub shop and came across Dopublicity. I Would recommend Dopublicity to anyone interested in advancing there operations to the next level. Everyone from the sales team to the graphic design team. Especially Mr. Mahesh Hinduja.

Great people & Great product!!

This is an excellent entry level digital display system. And it may be all you need if what you do doesn't require frequent changes to the content. (The program is excellent for things like menu boards). I use it as a lobby bulletin board and it has helped me learn the art and usefulness of digital signage. The price is right, too. On the few occasions I've had to call for technical support the staff was responsive and helpful, helping me resolve the issue quickly.

I should note that now that I've learned how to better utilize digital signage, I'll be upgrading to a more complex and flexible system than DoPublicity -- one that allows me to weave music into what I present and change complex content more frequently that what DoPublicity can accomplish easily. My hope would be that they offer a more advanced tier in the future, as I have been very pleased with what is currently offered.

Our small school could not afford the more expensive digital signage programs available. doPublicity was a low cost program that had all the features we needed. I recommend doPublicity.
