Dorval lighting will not allow returns, claiming everything is bespoke. However I ordered 2 lampshades in a standard colour, and standard size, therefore legally this is NOT BESPOKE, and wished to return them. They refused to allow the return and ignored further emails. This is contrary to consumer law, which allows you to return an item within 14 days, unless truly bespoke ie made in an unusual size just for you or a specific fabric. In the end I had to contact my credit card and they did a chargeback. Will never use Dorval Lighting again.

I ordered 4 lamp shades online having visited the workshop in Edinburgh (not clearly signposted) to see colours and was helped with photos of samples e-mailed to me on request. The lampshades themselves are lovely and it's nice being able to get hand made locally. Took around 3 weeks from date of order to be ready.
