Deceptive "Free Gift" Promotion Denied to Gift Recipients

I received a Dougvera Bread Proofing Box as a gift, and inside the packaging was a promotional card offering a free bread proofing mat. However, when I attempted to redeem the offer, customer service refused to honor it. They strictly demand a receipt or order ID, completely ignoring that this item is widely purchased as a gift.If you are buying this for a fellow baker, be aware that your recipient will be blocked from receiving the promised bonus unless you hand over your financial receipt. The box itself is fine, but the company's promotional practices and customer service are unaccommodating and deceptive to gift recipients
