Rude communication
Don't bother talking to this company if you have any issues with your item, they are rude and won't help you.
Edit in response to DI: The issue that I have been so blatantly excused of is not the issue that I am referring to. Obviously I am being mistaken with someone else named 'Jane' (who would have thought there could be 2 Janes in the world?) I have never visited the store and have only made one purchase online, which was enough for me because clearly due to the issue I was originally referring to, and the reply message I received from Dragon Image, I would never buy anything from this company again.
I am unaware of the situation Jane is in but hopefully you can show her that passive aggressive post you've shown me and convince her to never buy anything from your store again too.

Miscommunication and a ruined shot.
Well from the moment we tried organising lights with Dragon Image, it was a disaster. I asked my director to call on behalf of me to enquire about lights, we had spoken to Herman and had pencilled in our order and informed that if anyone else was interested in our order before we paid that we would be contacted immediately. Within minutes, I called back Dragon Image to confirm our order and pay. I was told Herman was busy and he would call me back later that day. I couldn't understand why I couldn't have organised it with someone else. I waited for the call all day until the next morning when I chased up this pencilled in order. When I called, the order had not been heard of and was told to do it via the internet (hmm sure well i'm already on the phone, why can't we just do the order straight away? Probably lazy staff) I then book online and because there was no confirmation of when I could pick up my lights, I rang to confirm. I was then told the lights I had just ordered to hire had been sold and so they couldn't provide me with the lights I wanted. The solution, to have them sent from Sydney to Melbourne by the end of next week. With a deadline, hired actors, dancers and studio - this was not a possibility. The manager told me he would find some way to make the same lights. I picked everything up smoothly which was surprise to me. The person who served me talked me through the lights, however didn't check the globes - something I guess I should have checked but isn't that your job when you pack them? When we got to the day of shooting, one of the globes was broken. Of course on a long weekend and a Sunday - I'm expected to find a new globe to fit this this light. Well unfortunately with time not on our side we had to go ahead with the shoot despite the lights not being exactly what we wanted. After the ordeal of trying to order the lights, we then had our shot ruined...when I returned everything all I got was 'well I thought we checked', no apology, no offer of refund. We might be a new production company but we making a lot of work at the moment and unfortunately Dragon Image will not be used again by us as we were very disappointed.
No email confirmations. Confusing order
Product was great value but store communication was limited as there was no email confirmations of orders sent to me from the online site.

I won't be going back
All I wanted to do was hire to stands...it was 9.15am I needed to pick them up that day at 10.45. So I call to enquire and book over the phone so my assistant can pick them up. When I call I'm told to call back in 10 minutes as they are to busy. So I call back in 10 minutes, a different person answers the phone who also says they are too busy and to book them on the website. So I do this - the website by the way doesn't ask me which city I'm in or what time/day I need them so I'm not feeling overly confident so decide I'll need to pick them up myself.
When I arrive at the store it takes over 10 minutes for me to be served, and when I am served there's no record of my booking - luck I've prinyed out my receipt. The stands are then produced but they don't have the arm on them which was what was described when I booked them. The guy says ok but takes another 10 minutes to get the arms. Overall I'm there for about 25 mins!
Also when my assistant returns them he is forced to call me as they have no record of the booking!
I hope this enlightens others as to what to expect from this place. I won't be going back!

Forgotten Order
Placed an order in November'15 but never received it with no follow-up. It's only when we were reviewing our purchases that we realised we never received these items. Contacted them in March'16 and they did promptly send out the order. No issues with their response when we contacted them but disappointing that none of their internal procedures caught the missed/unsent order.
