Drain Doctor - Bristol & Gloucestershire Reviews 

When I rang I was hoping someone could visit our property before the end of this week and clear a blocked drain - Tracy told me someone could visit later that afternoon - such wonderful customer service. Adam worked so diligently clearing the problem, keeping me appraised as his work progressed and ensuring (using CCTV) that the blockage had been completely cleared.

Fast response and got the job done. Nick was friendly and professional. Great service :)

Kai came round to help me with a drainage issue in a flat I am due to move into tomorrow. He called before he came (many contractors don’t) to say he was on his way.

Nothing would drain - he handled it promptly and professionally and was very friendly to have in the flat. We hit a little snag issue - but he handled it with professionalism and good humour. Would 100% recommend!

Andy Price went totally above and beyond today to help us out. We feared the worst but he was patient and proactive and thorough in his testing. We won’t be using anyone else but Andy in the future

I have had necessity to call upon this Company for the second time.
After the first time I was so impressed with their dedication to the work, they were the first I called upon again today.
The problem was resolved (blocked sewer), and they carried out a full investigation and established that the problem was a main drain of Wessex Water. They were brilliant, as was the first team I met.
This Company are honest, thorough, polite, and incredibly clean and tidy throughout the job and after completion.
I trust them to the point I would be happy to leave them to get on with the work with total access to my home.

Problem: A bad leak coming from behind a wall in an en-suite shower room. Linked to the boiler condensate (among other things) so no heating whilst awaiting repair.

Good points:
Reasonably well organised. Someone always answers the phone within a few rings and they are polite & keen to help.

Bad points:
Price. We found them very expensive. £353 to fix the leak which was a failed junction between two 32mm plastic pipes. And this WASN’T an emergency call out btw. We had to wait a week for this appointment (no heating in January). We also did the hard part - tracing and accessing the leak by destroying a wall in the en-suite making the problem fully accessible.

Workmanship. It was a fairly simple fix in the end but it took 3 separate visits to rectify. First guy left with a compromised boss seal - had to call them back. Then we noticed the (new) junction was weeping - had to call them back again. This is bread-and-butter stuff for a drainage company and should have been a straightforward job. Had we not discovered the weeping leak, we would have walled-in another problem to be discovered in the months that followed. The standard of workmanship left a lot to be desired which was hard to accept given the price we paid.

I would therefore struggle to recommend them given our experience.

Fantastic service. Ruth was very helpful and polite on the phone, Rob the technician was also polite, very knowledgeable. Sorted the blockage straight away and gave great advice too. Arrived within the hour after the call on a Sunday! All round top service. Very happy.

Rob was incredibly friendly and helpful, drain blockage led to other appliances breaking down. Drain cleared in rapid time, all with a smile and a clear enjoyment for the job, even on a Sunday morning. Appliances now working once again. Thank you, would absolutely recommend to anyone!

We had a partial drain blockage. Drain Doctor were quick to respond, cleared the immediate problem, diagnosed the problem (roots) and fixed it and guaranteed their repair. Very professional and very helpful.

Adam did a tremendous job. He turned up on time and sorted out our drain problem, which was far from straightforward. The drain had collapsed, there was a crack in the pipe which meant a complete replacement. The old pipework also had to be cleared of roots which had also helped to cause the blockage. This involved digging down to a significant depth with the removal of a great deal of very wet mud and debris. Adam also concreted around the new system after replacing the old pipework and drain and removed all the mud and dirt. The complete job took most of the day---everything was carried out in a very professional manner. I would not hesitate to recommend Adam and the company for an excellent job throughout. Many thanks.

Office staff were helpful and patient with the discussion of what was needed. Engineers on site were friendly and happy to explain procedure, timescales etc. The work was carried out in an unhurried and professional manner. I was able to see before and after videos of the repair site.

Rang them at 10.30 and got an appointment for engineer to call by at 4pm. I received a call to say they could come earlier at 12.30 and the chaps were very friendly, knowledgeable and got on with the job of unblocking the drains. A big fault was found and I now await their report. Very pleased with the service from start to finish.

Fantastic service and expertise. A drain problem that has outwitted previous attempts to solve it was soon diagnosed by Rob. Both Rob and Matt carried out the remedial work very efficiently and professionally.

Came out quickly, explained everything they were doing, didn't upsell anything that wasn't needed, and got the job done really well.

Works were not completed as per the agreement. Invoice still sent twice with the full quote despite job not being completed. I was then told a separate quote would be arranged for further works which I have not recieved. So I've spent over £4000 and the 3 drains are still not draining and I have a flood by the back door again.

Disappointing. Blocked toilet. They came and cleared the blockage. Felt quite expensive (£288 for a few hours work) but it was a messy job and they had to remove the toilet so just glad to have it done. A few days later the toilet was smelling really bad so I looked underneath and a load of waste had been left. I spent a while cleaning it out but couldn’t reach it all. To be fair once I told them they came back, took the toilet off and cleaned the area but when you’ve paid an expert a lot of money you don’t expect them to put the toilet back on and leave a load of faeces underneath where you can’t reach it.
